    Smittys burger

Looking for a quick bite to eat while on the road? You have to stop here. The burgers are massive! My husband and I stopped here because we saw how cool it looked inside online. It definitely lived up to the expectations. It's small and cozy. I want to think that the owners were working the front and back, as we overheard them talking about scheduling. They're both really nice and very accommodating. You also need to snag a souvenir here to say you stopped in. We got a magnet but they offer key chains and shirts as well. The coffee is also a requirement as it'll warm you up on a cold drive in to port Angeles. Fun spot for pictures too! Also, they are CASH ONLY but offer an ATM to use which was great. We'll be returning on our next adventure.

Decent burger joint. If burger joints could qualify for dive bars, Fat Smitty's would be on the top. In fact, Food Network Triple D should do a show here. The prices are better on the peninsula than downtown Seattle but thats to be expected. The portions are gigantic and unless you are like my travel buddy you'll need a To-go box. Juicy patty, fresh veggies, delicious 1000 island dressing, crispy fries, and an amazing peanut butter shake. If you feel up to it, go for the Combo, but good luck!

Love this place. I go there at least once a year since I moved back to Washington in '17. It's a 50 minute drive from Poulsbo and absolutely worth it. Cash only and tax is included.

Hubby and I are on a road trip. This is a great roadside place to stop and eat! Plenty of parking. Small inside but has a lot of character. Service was quick. We ordered burgers with fries (onion rings are an option) and shakes. The shakes were SO flavorful. They have had a tradition for years of guests putting money in the walls and ceiling. When it gets cleared the money goes to charity. Wonderful small business to support!

Pin your dollars, all goes to charity.

Love stopping by this place when we're in Port Townsend. Love to order the Smitty burger w/a side of onion rings, and a blackberry shake. Every visit I pin a dollar bill with the Grandkids name on it.

You know it's gonna be good

Super cute and quant joint. Had the grilled cheese with bacon on it and this super dank Ethiopian soup. Real good

A must do place every time I'm at the peninsula. Kind of a dive but the food is excellent. Bring cash.

I'd give it zero stars their service was rude and racist and the place looked like it doesn't get cleaned often. Avoid at all costs!!!

This place has such good hamburgers that I've got to leave a review almost every time I eat there.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly server and immediately impressed by the beautiful decor. There's also a bar area off to the right if you're looking to enjoy a drink. After being seated, we had time to look over the menu and decided on the fish and chips and the Northwest Burger. The burger name alone caught our attention, and we had to try it! The food was delicious and freshly made. Both dishes were full of flavor, and the quality really stood out. Combined with the fantastic service and inviting atmosphere, it made for a great dining experience. A bonus for pet owners the restaurant is dog-friendly if you're bringing your furry friend along. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again!
