Great local spot for breakfast! I did drive passed it, it's pretty inconspicuous, but, after a quick u turn I found front row parking and we went inside. Seating is limited-three booths, a handful of counter seats and a table outside-so we were fortunate to walk in just as a booth opened up. From everyone else's reviews, it sounds like there can sometimes be a wait, but for us the planets aligned, and we sat pretty quickly. The menu is standard diner fare done well. If you are looking for sexy, avant-garde food, this ain't it. If you want a stick to your ribs meal that will sustain you for your adventure of the day, you are in the right place. It reminds me of how my grandma would cook breakfast, big portions, and big flavor. Bring your big appetite. Everyone is really friendly, be it the folks behind the counter or the folks in the booths. This is obviously a neighborhood favorite, and you can tell.

Great breakfast spot, friendly service . You'll leave full. Never had anything I didn't enjoy here. Favorite is the hash browns delight. Parking available. Be prepared to wait if you come with a group. Counter seating also available.

Hubby took me to breakfast at this hole in the wall diner. Don't blink or eyes or you will miss it! Super small inside. The decor is old and booths weren't very comfortable, just needs some updating. If we are rating food alone definitely a 4 star place. Portions were great, came out hot and it was so so good!!! Our server was very friendly. Price was $40 before tip.

    Friendly waitress!

Decided to walk down here for breakfast after dropping the car off at Les Schwab for some servicing. The reviews were great and the idea of an old school diner was awesome, so we went. Immediately loved the ambiance! Totally old school, down home, small town vibes. Service was amazing and just what you'd expect from a small diner. Food was good, not great-but worth ordering again. I had the meat and cheese omelet (sausage and cheddar), side of bacon, and my wife went with the chicken breast salad with hamburger patty substituted for chicken breast, with blue cheese dressing. Omelet was HUGE! Bacon was skimpy but tasty. Salad was like one you'd make at home but still really good, hamburger Patty was bland. The hash browns were the best! So good, and they had chipotle and Jalapeño Tabasco sauce (staples in my household!), which was a nice touch.

Wow wow wow - AMAZING breakfast at The Junction Diner in Poulsbo today. My husband and I try a new place every weekend, and today we landed at The Junction Diner. To start, this spot has so much charm and nostalgia in how it's set up. Regulars galore, Terri (the amazing server manning the entire restaurant) knew at least 75% of the people that came in by name. The food though, and that stellar chef (I didn't catch her name but man is she cool), I asked for a breakfast sandwich and for the chef to basically make me her dream sandwich. Sausage, spinach, tomato, egg, cheese, Mayo - insanely good and cooked like a grilled cheese... My love language is all things grilled cheese. My husband had a huge portion of chicken fried steak that he devoured as well. Not only was the food amazing, the banter and the people truly made our day. Prices were SO great as well, so know going in that you get a lot of bang for your buck. I'm honestly disappointed that I'm just now discovering this tiny hidden gem, but we will be back for lunch very soon. To note, they're open 6am to 2pm, closed Sundays, and small joint but lovely outdoor setup for sunny days. Thank you Terri and the phenomenal chef for such a wonderful time!

I got the breakfast sandwich with a sausage patty and it was AWESOME!!! I took a star off because they didn't have the corned beef hash. Check it out.

Updated menu prices. For example Veggie Omelette went from $11.99 to $16.99. Price of pie hasn't changed.

I totally respect the bottom line for restaurants, as I want them to stay in business. Well, at least the ones that have good food and great customer service. However, soybean oil is one of the worst oils for humans to consume because it is so very high in omega six and generally causes severe inflammation in most people. Dang! Their wings are so tasty, and such a great deal on wing Wednesday. They cook with no flour which is great for my Ketogenic lifestyle. I was so hooked and becoming a regular for those wings. But unfortunately that terrible oil will keep me away now that I know it is what they fry in. It's a sad moment!

We generally make sure to stop by whenever we're in Poulsbo or just passing through. Seating is at a premium, with only 3 small, indoor tables, and about 6 seats at the bar. When the weather is good, there are 3 small tables outside. During rush times, all seats can fill. Parking can also be problematic, which can be frustrating. There just aren't that many spots. Service is generally good, and the staff attentive. Online orders through their website almost never work well, however. Two times in a row we showed up at the designated time, only to find that out order had not been made, and we had to spend valuable time clarifying or just plain telling them that we had an order (which we had paid for).

A True 1950s Diner Experience! Highly Recommended!…read more We visited the Red Apple Diner in Bremerton with our after-wedding party of 13 people for brunch, and it exceeded our expectations. Despite our large group, they accommodated everyone comfortably and provided outstanding service from start to finish. The diner completely embraces the classic 1950s era. From the décor and booths to the music and nostalgic atmosphere, it truly feels like you've stepped back in time. The restaurant was also exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient. They handled our large group's orders with ease, kept drinks refilled, and delivered everyone's meals quickly. Our table ordered a variety of dishes including bacon and eggs, sausage and eggs, Oregon French toast, chicken and waffles, and a Reuben sandwich. Every meal looked fantastic, the portions were generous, and everything was cooked perfectly. The standout for us was the French Toast, which was easily some of the best French toast we've ever had at any diner. The chicken and waffles were excellent, and the Reuben was packed with flavor. The cheeseburger was juicy and delicious (although I personally would have skipped the grilled onions). One unique surprise was the recommended potato chip fries that came with the burger. They were thick cut, freshly made, and unlike any chips I've had before, dense chip shaped fries without being overly hard. Prices were very reasonable, with most meals around $20 or less, making it an excellent value for the quality and generous portions. Overall, the Red Apple Diner delivered fantastic food, outstanding service, a fun nostalgic atmosphere, and a memorable experience. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the Bremerton area. Five stars, two big thumbs up, and highly recommended!
