The Eforiro I got tasted so good but I requester turkey and beef but they put fish and beef. I feel that is not good but otherwise the food tasted good and fresh.

Grabbed lunch one day from here. The restaurant is very nice and clean. The lady who took my order was very nice. I ordered the jerk chicken pasta and the jerk wings with fries. Everything was prepared fresh so there was a slight wait but not long. The food was very tasty and well seasoned. I plan to return to try other items on the menu.

    Chicken egusi soup and fufu

The first time I tried this place I got the egusi soup with chicken and fufu. It was great. I tried again today and everything was different. It was less soup, the texture was different and half the portion for $21. Not enough food for the price. Very disappointing.

Delicious food, that both parents and kids enjoyed. Loved the jollof rice and the jerk chicken dinner. My kids loved trying the fruity drinks, passion fruit strawberry was our favorite. Service and setting were excellent.

Food was amazing and the cook was very nice and appreciative. I will definitely go back. Also ordered jerk chicken Alfredo for hubby. We shall see what he thinks later.

1 order of goat instead of 2

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I ordered from here yesterday & disappointed is an understatement, I was pissed off. I ordered 2 orders of goat but only received 1 & that was inedible. Tough & hard. The WORST I've ever had by far! The egusi soup had no flavor, the fish was good but the chicken thigh I received was dried out & hard like it had been sitting out all day or it was the food that they were going to throw away but chose to sell it. By the time I made it back home & went to eat it they had closed. It's the next day & they're still not open. Ive wakened up early in the am to make this review because that's how ticked off I am. I will not EVER order from this restaurant & will continue to help others not waste their time & money here. Mind you I spent $52 & the only thing worth eating was a 2 oz piece of fish. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING & HORRIBLE! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but I have to give it a rating in order to upload.

Run, don't walk, to Jungle Plate!!! My husband and I just ordered two dinners to go: the Jollof Rice with Goat and the Egusi Stew with Goat & pounded yam. They both were packed with so much flavor and you can tell they are cooked with love! The owner is super friendly and I always love supporting a family run business.

Chicken tips were dry and rice and peas lacked seasoning. The tacos were pretty good and the only reason I rated 3 stars instead of 2.

Not good at all, I rather stick with going to Schaumburg to get food there. This place was expensive and for what?

It's a long distance…read morefrom home but it was a mild weather day in December so we decided to make the drive on 12/9/24. We ring the bell and a young boy let us in and we sat down. It was awhile before someone came to tend to us but as my husband was explaining to me, in the African culture, you go to them to tell them what you want, not the other way around. They were in the back busy cooking and preparing, there is a open window where you can order. We got to meet the owner who the restaurant is named after, Anayo. He was awesome! I wanted to order the fried rice or the coconut rice but those are large orders for several people which are only for call in but they don't indicate that on the menu. I got to order the last meat pie they had and OMG, I'm still dreaming about how good it was! I ordered the jollof rice and told them mild spice but it was still a bit too hot for me but in Nigeria, that is how they spice their food, LOL. It comes with goat meat and fish. I loved the fish as it was flavorful, crispy and delicious! I will make sure to order that fish again. Hubby got the Nkwobi made with cow feet, scotch bonnet pepper, onion, palm oil Spinach and seasonings. It was so hot but he enjoyed every bit of it. Anayo told us that they have only been open for 1 year. I hope they continue and thrive. I got to taste a strawberry yogurt drink that they had in the frig that was in a 1 liter container. I really enjoyed that also. You get the bill after you pay - they told us our total for us to pay. Not used to that but they aren't the first business that I've experience to do that. Area was very quiet that evening. Thank you Nayo's - see you soon!

Unfortunately for us, there isn't one within 1/2 hour of us, so going to Nando's is either for special occasions or if we're in the area anyway. It was the latter for this visit. We went at an off-hour so there was only one other table with people there. The manager waited on us - he was really great to work with. We knew what we wanted but he pointed out some other things on the menu and discussed the drink options (there are so many). I had the 1/2 chicken and cole slaw. It was too large for me to eat all of it on this visit, but I think it was smaller than the last time we were there. I think their prices are the same which must mean with the inflation we've experienced recently, they may be cutting portion size rather than raising their prices. I ordered it medium hot, which in the past had been plenty hot for me. I don't think they put a lot of sauce on it - it was a little bland. But they have all of their variety of sauces out and available for you to take back to your table. I tried both the medium and hot (they have extra and extra-extra hot...). I didn't really taste much difference between them. My meal was delicious. I ended up taking half of it home with me.

The service is a little slower (the young man on duty seemed surprised that I wanted to dine in) but the people were kind. The food I ordered pounded yam (fufu) with spinach and assorted meats. I opted out of the tripe and they gladly replaced it with a piece of goat. The goat and beef were tender. The chicken was overly done to me. The flavor and taste was delicious otherwise. The waiter seemed not prepared this day as I had to ask for silverware. Now I understand how fufu and African food works but silverware shouldn't have been an after thought. I also dined in and had to purchase a bottle of water versus it being complimentary to dining in. Don't be discouraged as the restaurant doesn't smell of food cooking but they clearly are getting ther job done. As there were lots of pick ups. No alcohol beverages. Just pop and bottled water. I drove 25 minutes to this restaurant as my local African restaurant was closed already. I think it was worth the try but only if I'm in that neighborhood would I return. The chef she was kind and welcoming. I wanted some pepper soup to go but I didn't think about it until I was ready to go. Menu: contactless I was a little concerned about the percentages of likes next to some of the food but I like to give everyone a chance. I think if you are in the area you should stop by and give it a try.
