I am grateful to yelp for recommending me this absolute god given gift of food place that is the kebab shop. I genualilakuenly have not tasted a better Greek wrap in my entire life this almost made me want to cry and for 17$ plus one 1$ for fries this almost 12 inch wrap of deliciousness and delectableness. I wish this never ended but It sadly did. They have a wall of awards I guess that don't do justice to how absolutely dazed I was when taking a bite out of this. "Best fries" award "best middle eastern" I am flabbergasted that this place has less than 5 stars and don't even get me started on the fresh ingredients and the crunchy red onions and the chicken it was like heaven in form of a wrap. And my mom said hers was a 10/10 "the flavor is amazing the sauces are amazing the chicken is fresh the veggies are fresh it's just really good" the servers were also very kind the place is ok, not to bad but then again I'm not rating the ambience I'm rating the food they also do a very good job of keeping the place clean and they take the food to you. But the jalapeño sauce was over the top it says jalapeño but it's not very spicy but it doesn't need to be spicy because he knows that he is that chilli pepper. It tastes like a chipotle burrito while being a little sweet and a kick of spicy that just kisses your tongue in a very loving and tender way and the taziki sauce I think or the dill. Very dilly and savory and magnificent in every way. Just paring these two together feels like listening to michael jackson in his prime. The tortilla was nice and warm like a big hug from a grizzly bear and the food came out very fast like 10minutes or less fast. If I was vegan I'd probably become a carnivore because the chicken was so fresh and juicy and flavorful. This place definitely deserves a Michelin star. There is also a lot of seating which is nice. I came here on a Tuesday at 1145am for lunch with my coworkers. Plaza - really convenient on Walnut/Culver right by the Trader Joe's & Smart & Final. Plenty of parking, but the area does get busy during peak hours like around lunch and dinner hours. Interior ambiance - it's nice & clean, but I wanted to sit outside that day since the weather was beautiful and there were plenty of tables and chairs with umbrellas right out front. Also, the restroom was very clean. Service was good, nothing outstanding but no complaints, efficient. I ordered a Truffle Maker Grain Bowls with Fire Hummus. It was good, healthy, and surprisingly really filling. I couldn't finish all the falafels, so I brought it to-go home for dinner. I'd come back to this or their other locations and I would recommend this as a quick, convenient and healthy to-go lunch spot. Portion sizing for the prices were pretty reasonable too. read more

Their falafels are tasty and moist inside. The lamb is seasoned nicely. The steak was slightly dry, but the Caesar Crunch bowl is good. The Shrimp Greens bowl was okay. I had to add some extra sauces to make it right for me. We ordered and somehow the guy didn't hear me order the shrimp bowl. Someone that ordered after us got his food. Then the steak bowl came. I was sitting there with sauces lined up next to me ready to eat but my bowl didn't come. I asked when it would be ready and he said he didn't put in that order. He did offer a side of lamb and falafels for the mistake. That's when I found out their falafels are tasty and the lamb is worth coming back to try with a meal. read more

So we had TKS lunch catering yesterday. It was great. We had chicken kabobs, gyro meat, falafel and chopped chicken, which I believe is the dark meat chicken. My favorite was, of course, the kabobs, because it's all white meat, which I believe is healthier (because it's all lean meat). I didn't have any of the dark meat chicken but that appeared to also be popular with our staff. There were also several side dishes: salad, yellow rice, cubed zucchini (delish!), bread, etc. Everything was good. read more

Tried The Kebab Shop for the first time and it did not disappoint. I had the wrap with carved chicken and also tried the beef kebab plate. Both had good portions, were super flavorful, and the sauces added a nice twist, everything tasted really fresh. Customer service was great. The staff was helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to assist. The space was clean, open, and had plenty of seating, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a good spot for a fresh, meal. I am absolutely obsessed. Came here by mistake but figured I love all Mediterranean food so I'm sure I'd love this. And I was right. Ended up getting the chicken shawarma wrap with extra chicken and a side of fries. My total was $27 which was higher than I was expecting for a single meal for myself. However I was not disappointed. We also ended up getting all the sauces from the sauce bar. When I finally got home to unwrap my wrap..... I couldn't believe how hefty it was. Before I even getting into my review... for all you Yelpers who are contemplating whether or not you should stop by The Kebab Shop for a bite to eat; PLEASE DO!! I was on my way up North and was CRAVING Mid-Eastern street food - specifically a shawarma sandwich. I did a quick little Yelp search, dropped the address of The Kebab Shop into my maps, and vroom'ed on over to this location. I must've arrived right after peak hours, since the dining room had an abundance of open seats. After taking a gander at the menu (which has variety but is also pretty compact - which I LOVED) I opted for the carved lamb & beef wrap with all the fixings and a side of fries. While I waited for my order, I swung by the napkin/condiment station, where I filled up a few sauce cups with their white sauce, green sauce, and spicy sauce. Within a few minutes, my order was ready! My wrap was beautifully crafted and the fries were fresh out of the fryer. I popped a squat at one of many tables in the bright and spacious dining room, then got to eating. All I've gotta say is.... the white and spice sauce in combination with the lamb and beef wrap was INSANELY GOOD. My only wish is that I'd have ordered extra meat, as I like a 2:1 ration of meat to veggies. As I'm typing this out, I am experience major FOMO and wishing I could be munching on one RIGHT NOW. The fries were perfectly crisp out the outside and fluffy on the inside and paired beautifully with the sauces I'd gotten for myself on the side. The only thing that would've been perfect at the end of this meal would've been a piping hot cup of mid-eastern chai and some dessert, which I coincidentally did not have room for because I was stuffed to the brim. What a FEAST I indulged my senses in! Ever since dining here, I think often about the meal I'd gotten and am eager to visit this spot again! I highly recommend this eatery to all folks looking for decently priced and DELICIOUS mid-eastern street food. This place is right next to Omomo tea shop which is great! Grab a boba drink and eat some kabobs!! I ordered the San Diego burrito and it was big enough to share. Personally, I didn't enjoy the fries, but my sister did. Next time I will get the original burrito wrap. :) The cashier was super patient with us as we had never been there. We ordered a meal for everyone and then found that kids eat free on Saturday and Sunday so we had to readjust our order. She didn't get irritated, but was very friendly. :) I even asked for more pickled onions and they were so generous. The San Diego burrito is 1lb of dog food. flavor free Kofta, fries, undressed romaine and unsalted tomatoes wrapped in a pita that smells of burnt toast.
