My husband and I just purchased a new vehicle from Sager Ford and highly recommend them. After seeing a car on their lot after driving by on a Sunday we made an internet inquiry that evening. We received a call from Imm the next morning confirming the car was still available. We made an appointment for 2pm that day to meet with Eddie to look at it. When we arrived at 2pm we went in to meet Eddie and he had the car and keys ready to go. He immediately handed over the keys for a test drive. He also offered, while we did the test drive, to check out our current vehicle for Trade In pricing. We were prepared to provide a decent cash amount down, but decided to see what they would offer, not expecting much as is usually the case with dealers. When we returned from the test drive we sat down with Eddie to review numbers and were happily surprised with the number they can back with on the Trade In as well as the incentives that were available to us and they overall price for the new vehicle. As such we decided to proceed with the purchase and Trade In. It took just a few minutes to complete the initial credit check and during that time Mr. Sager came out to thank us, offer us water and gave my husband a hat. We then went in to meet with Imm to complete the finance paperwork and appreciated his thoroughness and no pressure approach. The entire process took just over 2 hours - by far the least amount of time it has ever taken for us to buy a new vehicle. Eddie, Imm and Mr. Sager thanked us multiple times and let us know to reach out if we had any questions or concerns. We are pleased with our new car, and more importantly, we are happy with the experience we had at Sager Ford. We are local Napa residents and will recommend Sager Ford to all of our friends. I was shopping for a Ford Maverick XLT, and contacted this dealership with the options I wanted. I was told that a vehicle meeting these requirements was available, and I put down a $1000 deposita-charged (per dealership request) on my credit card. The truck did not materialize, so I asked for my deposit back. The dealership delayed processing the refund for several weeks, then(after several phone calls) returned the deposit, less a $29 'credit card fee'. During this time, I was called several times by this dealership trying to sell me another truck. Since none of the vehicles offered contained the options I wanted, I declined. I purchased a very gently used 2022 vehicle from Sager Ford recently. Before I even left the lot, I realized the AC was not blowing cold air. I was immediately alarmed and rightfully upset so the manager, Alex, came out and told me he was "confident it was something simple like a fuse issue" and that he would "take care of it and cover it." We don't live in the area and he said that he understood that and wanted it to be convenient for us and if we took the car to our local Ford dealer he would cover the issue to be fixed there. So we got home and took our car into our local Ford. Our car sat at the shop for almost a week because Alex was extremely difficult to get ahold of and kept saying he would get back to both myself and the local dealership. Finally after I was able to get ahold of him, he claimed he "never said that" and refused to cover any of the cost of repairs. He only offered to pay %50 if we drove it back to their location and stated he wanted to "pay his service people instead of theirs." Alex was only concerned about himself and not concerned about keeping his word or business relationships. He said I was "lucky he was trying to help me out because no one else would even offer to do that much." He also bluntly admitted that they don't check their vehicles thoroughly before they are sold. He stated they "didn't check if the AC worked" as this isn't a safety feature of a vehicle. Unfortunately it seems Sager Ford is comfortable selling broken vehicles to people and the manager is a liar. Do not trust these people to fix your vehicle or buy from them! read more

Started the visit looking a mustang gt, the car had scratches and dents that was not on the pictures and not mentioned in the descriptions. When I had mentioned those scratches and dents he asked if I did them while looking at the car. During the test drive the car was in a transport mode, which didn't let the car go above 50mph. And the sales person tried to fix it but they didn't know how and their mechanics were not available to help. During the negotiations we told them specifically to not run the credit unless we agreed to a price. The salesperson after filling out the credit application joked that they are now going to run the credit and smiled then stated that he was joking, he wasn't. Then in the middle of discussions the sales person outside messed with the settings to let the car open up more but with no guarantee that it wouldn't come back they left that car on and we stopped the negotiation to complete the test drive. During that test drive someone ran our credit and we got a notification that it was ran. When we got back to the dealership the salesman that was with us had no idea what was going on and the geriatric sales associate told us that despite the dents and the possibility of the car not functioning correctly there was no way to budge on price and said that it was "crazy that we would ask a small discount". Feeling he was just insulting us at this point and never apologizing for running the credit when we specifically asked not to with us not even being present. We left and disappointed in both the service and quality of care that this place provided. The fact that they claim customer satisfaction guaranteed is the most absurd thing that I have ever heard. Don't go here and don't give them your information. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. read more

I purchased a car from this dealership, and I have a trade in which was priced by carmax amounting of $7000, and they are getting my car at $6000. in return that I will be giving me a GAP of $1000(free) to get even with my car's value from carmax.....but i did not notice during finalizing the purchased that the GAP was added to my Loan...I feel that I was being tricked by them of the price that they offered me and I was also in a hurry at that time because I have my two kids with me......to be continued because there is a lot more negative feedbacks during my transaction with this dealership. I have never written a review in my life but the heinous experience I had at this dealer should be known by all so no-one has to ever go through what I did. Upon arriving at the dealer we introduced ourselves and selected the vehicle we would like to see. We went outside and found the vehicle and started to take it for a test drive. Upon the first 10 seconds of the drive the screen read that it was in a transport mode and the vehicle is limited, it needed to be reset by the dealer. I informed the sales person who accompanied us on the drive and he stated yes he also saw the message. On that same drive I told him I test drove a different one at a different dealer and it feels very wrong I believe due to that limitation that the screen displayed. Upon stating this the sales guy kept stating there is nothing wrong with the car its brand new and that's how it is. That should have been my first warning that these people are liars. We went back to the dealer and the "manager" or head guy that day went up to the salesperson and we could overhear their conversation. The salesperson that was on the drive with us kept saying "HE states there was a message, HE states it drives weird, HE states the car isn't fully functioning" As if he didn't just admit to seeing the error message with his own eyes just 10 minutes before. Another gentleman who was hispanic came out and said he would test drive it to see what was wrong. While we were waiting that "manager" came out and stated "Where is that guy? I don't trust him at all, did he steal the car? I am going to call 911 on him because I don't like him." Whether joking or not, those kinds of comments should most certainly not be made in front of customers, especially since they could be taken as extremely racist and he deserves to know what comments are being made behind his back. We drove the car again once he returned and same problem occured. They all then started running around like chickens with their heads cut off and eventually they stated they will call someone to help while we discuss numbers. I mentioned some questions I had about the vehicle and some concerns, one of which being the interior. I stated "I don't know about the interior of this vehicle, I think a camry has a better interior" He then stated "then why don't you just leave and go buy a camry?" For a dealer that had no customers all day on a Saturday, what a great statement to keep customers. We went inside and started to fill out some basic paperwork. I could not have made it any more clear to this sales person to NOT run the credit until we come to an agreement on the price and he acknowledged every time, soon I will learn that was a lie as well. Once some forms were completed with our basic info he then looked at me and stated "ok I'm going to run the credit", I then looked at him bewildered by this comment and then once he saw my face he then started to smile to relieve the tension as if it was a joke, I should have walked away at that very moment. He then stated he was joking, he wasn't. We were then informed the car was ready and good to go. We then drove it and it felt a lot better. Third time's the charm I guess even though I don't know why a car is sitting on their lot when it isn't ready to be sold. We came back and my wife got a notification that the credit was run during the test drive. At this point I was furious, they then all denied they had anything to do with it and it is impossible and they could never have done that. I then showed them it literally states their name on the notification and they started brushing it off and only then barely apologized. The salesperson stated he gave the papers to their finance guy and just left it on his desk without communicating. Countless things could have been done to prevent this but nothing was. How can you be that incompetent? Imagine telling someone to not do this one specific thing countless times and 20 minutes later they go and do that one thing, what does that say about them? We then started discussing numbers. I can completely understand if we cannot come to an agreement on the price, that is not a problem, but when I mentioned that the vehicle had multiple scratches and a dent for being "brand new" the salesperson stated "no that's impossible, did you guys damage the car with your elbows or something?". Once again we gave them all straight faces then they started to smile, sorry I don't find being accused of crime funny. We then couldn't come to an agreement and we left, should have done that hours ago. Only one person then apologized for the credit and with zero sincerity in his voice. This place deserves to be sued and run into the ground. I wouldn't buy a car from them if it was the last dealer on the planet. Do not go here and don't even think about giving them your information. To say this was the worst dealer I have ever been to would be the understatement of the decade. read more

The sales and management team are absolutely awful. One of the worst customer service experiences. Avoid like a plague! I filled out the inquiry online for Hyundai Elantra. The salesman called me back and provided all the information. I explained that I'll be financing it without down payment. He mentioned that he has an amazing Honda Fit, but will definitely work with me to get Hyundai Elantra. Less than an hour later he texted me that there was a recall on the Hyundai Elantra, but the part is available and he "ordered it for us". I explained that I live more than two hours away, but will come as soon as they qualify me for specific monthly payment for this car. The next day a finance manager called and took all my information. He also offered me the same Honda Fit and I once again explained that it won't work for me. He said that there's no such thing as a "soft credit pull", but if I don't buy from them and buy from another dealership in 45 days it will not show up on my credit report. He then said that he will call me back with the results of whether I was able to get loan. He and the salesman then disappeared for the next three days. I kept texting them and they ignored all my messages. I eventually got a response from the salesman saying "you mean they didn't tell you that the Hyundai Elantra was sold yesterday? But we do have absolutely fantastic, amazing, the best in the world just got you Honda Fit. When would you like to come by and look at it?" I was absolutely furious. They lied to me at every point-everything from "hard pull" vs "soft pull" of my credit report to ignoring all my communication. The finance then called me and said that I misunderstood and it's absolutely impossible that one of their salesmen will tell someone that their credit won't be impacted if they bought at another dealership, and all their other lies. He then once again promised that he will work with me to get me a perfect car. And once aga disappeared. I got a letter about a week ago that I didn't quali for any financing. I asked about specific banks who approve at over 18% APR interest. One of the most creative liars I ever caught in my life. Buyer beware! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! read more

I purchased a new Ford F150 Lightning this year, and so far, I've been very pleased with it. However, the right rear tire started locking up at low speeds, particularly when I was making a turn. A warning light came on that was new. So I stopped in to the service department to see if they could help me identify the warning light on the dash. The service manager, I assume, since he wouldn't give me his name, couldn't be bothered to even walk outside to look at the warning light to tell what it was for. He seemed to have no interest at all in helping a long time customer identify what the problem might be. I've been buying vehicles and having them serviced at this dealership for many years. A year or two ago, the dealership was taken over by Sager. The opinion in the community is that the service has really gone downhill. The service manager was rude, and completely disinterested in helping. He told me he could have someone take a look at it next week. Now there is a banner out front that says they're now under new management. For a service department in a small community, they seem to have no passion or interest in helping loyal customers. I called the dealership in the next county, and they made time for me the next day. I would not recommend Sager Ford to anyone , and I will not be returning. read more

I'm on the road all the time and my door wouldn't lock my window wouldn't roll down it was a huge pain had my car at another Ford dealership for three weeks after waiting two weeks to get an appointment And they couldn't get it fixed. I do not know what the scam was/is but we would NEVER again bring a vehicle in for service. In DECEMBER (111 Days AGO) we brought our vehicle in for an oil change. It is a NEW Ford with 39,000 Miles. I was amazed to be called and told that the Engine was bad and would need to be replaced under warranty. Wow, OK, surprised that a Ford with 39K miles would need a new engine, hadn't noticed any problems with the vehicle, but was pleased that the dealership was taking care of it under warranty for us. They provided a loaner vehicle. Over the next 3 MONTHS, we were told that they were waiting on FORD for the warranty, their was no engines available, yada, yada, yada, insert excuse here. Meanwhile I am paying a large car payment for MY car that I cannot use! Enough was enough, we showed up at the dealership to find out what was going on and when we would get our car back! We were told that they had not yet had time to take it apart and send in a warranty request to Ford! In fact they had done NOTHING other than the initial oil change over the last 111 days. Yes you read that right. What is worse is they told us there were other cars in similar situations! We took our car (amazingly it drove out under it's own power) and took it to a new dealer to find out what is really going on. Needless to say the new dealer was a bit disturbed at the chain of events. If the service manager worked for me he would be fired on the spot. The GM wouldn't be far behind. This is NOT how a dealership acts. I do not know if this was some attempt at fraud, gross mis-management, or just simple stupidity. Or maybe they had lost their Ford Franchise....? Hmmmm.... Trust here is gone. Whether or not I buy another Ford is still up in the air. Regardless it will certainly NOT be from these clowns. read more
