Everything is good here! English breakfast and their fluffy cakes are divine. Great selection of local beer and wines, along with a full liquor bar. I believe most of their ingredients are locally sourced. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. This is a wonderful spot to try! We wanted to try the British food to start, but will most likely return to try other menu items as well! The inside has a cool "pub" atmosphere, but we opted to eat outside! They have a lovely outdoor setting that is very peaceful. It was a great place to take our four year old (we packed her own dinner) and everyone was very friendly! The French fries are so good, unlike any we've ever had! Very fresh tasting. read more

Got there about 11:45 and all they were serving was the Big English Breakfast, so three of us split one as an appetizer. Local eggs, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, sausage, bacon baked beans and toast - quite tasty. Then we shared fish & chips and a burger, both quite good and dessert we had the Sticky Toffee pudding- awesome. The food was really excellent but it was really challenging to dine with kids. No kid-specific offerings and the ambience was not as family oriented as other spots. The spicy hummus and bglt were great and the fries were amazing. Would love to hang on the back patio with a drink sometime with other adults! What a surprising gem to find on our drive to Cincinnati. The fish and chips were the best I've had outside the UK and what a treat to find sticky toffy pudding in the US. The atmosphere is exactly like a neighborhood pub with picnic tables and string lights. So so good and was really special to eat. The English fare is probably the best for hundreds of miles. Want a traditional English dish? Grab the Fish & Chips. Want something a little more "American"? I personally love the hamburgers! But no matter what, make sure you end it with some sticky toffee pudding. Every time we visit, we are warmly welcomed. We love all things British so we stopped by. To say it was what we expected would not be the truth. Don't let the fact that there it is in the middle of a pretty sad little town scare you off.
