We had a large party and that didn't diminish the quality of our service. The food was fantastic. The crab cakes say "no filler" on the menu and they mean it. That was exactly how a crab cake should be made and the texture was perfect. Our party had every iteration of oysters you can get and they were all great. They were accommodating for a member of our party with celiac and her food was exactly what she was promised. Other points of note: Bar service was quick and friendly. The hostesses promptly accommodated our party of 10. The straps on the high chair actually worked (if you're a parent then you know what I mean). And my favorite of all: there was no tv to be seen from our table so we were all able to chit chat without distraction from glowing tv screens. We ordered fish tacos, mussels, wings, and a grouper sandwich. After taking one bite of a wing, I realized it was raw inside. I immediately informed our server, who apologized, and the kitchen manager removed the wings from the bill. Needless to say, after that experience, the rest of our group barely touched their food. After paying, the other members of my party mentioned that the taco shells seemed frozen and the mussels were overcooked and extremely rubbery. Later that evening, I became sick and spent much of the night in the bathroom, which I believe was caused by the raw chicken. I called the restaurant to speak with the manager, and from the beginning, he was defensive, blaming the issue on a new cook. When I calmly explained the other disappointing aspects of the meal and simply asked him to make the situation right, he became increasingly argumentative. He repeatedly insisted that it wasn't his fault and claimed they had never received complaints about the food before. To be clear, I never asked for a full refund -- I only expected some acknowledgment beyond removing the wings from the bill. Instead, the manager became rude and hostile, so I eventually ended the call. I would not recommend dining here. The management was extremely unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility for serious food quality issues, especially considering the high prices. There are far better places to eat in the area.
