Been visiting this location since 2018 when I used to visit Fl on vacations. In 2021 I moved down to South Fl, and it has since become a spot in Miami I bring all my family too when they now come to visit me. If you want good, flavorful, and stuffed lobster rolls, this is the place to come too. Pricing is on high side, but you get what you pay for, a loaded lobster, or crab roll, well with very dollar. We usually all order one roll with a side each, and take our food outside to sit. It's nostalgic for us, and we enjoy coming here time and time again. The staff are always friendly and welcomes us right away, with taking our orders. After the meal, the water isn't too far from the restaurant so it's always nice to go sit by the edge and take in the beautiful Miami views. read more

As I sat down, I untied and loosened my wrap skirt to make room for the expansion of my stomach- the menu had me salivating. What to choose... what to choose. We ended up getting three buttered lobster rolls with lobster bisque. Naturally my kids were stuffed and I ended up finishing their food - it was delicious. Truly. I also had the most delicious Miami Vice that gave me a little buzz and was refreshing and cooling at the same time. Was in town visiting family, exploring the beach, and we decided to hop in for a quick bite of lunch. Nice location, and should you choose to eat outside, shaded in the afternoon. You order at the counter inside, and they bring your food to your table. I decided to go for the 2.5 lb cooked lobster, and I opted for the "lazy" lobster (they crack it open for you, for a small fee). This came with a side of jalapeño Cole slaw. The slaw was good, but not great, although I did enjoy the heat from the jalapeños in it. The lobster was cooked well, and was delicious. Plenty of butter and lemon for dipping. My nephew tried their surf and turf burger, and said it was very good, although he wasn't a fan of the pickle-flavored potato chips they gave him. This is at the beach, so it's a little pricey in my opinion. But the serving sizes were good, and the food was good. I say the splurge was worth it! If I'm back down, will definitely try their lobster roll. read more

Taking a visit to Miami South Beach, please skip over all the hound restaurants on the strip of ocean drive and walk yourself down the strip to this small hole in the wall Lobster Shack. It's past 1st street. So it's about a 15 minute walk from the Versace Mansion (or so) . It's table seating inside and out and is perfect for groups no more than about 8. This way you don't have to pull tables together. I was greeted by the bartender as well as the server who was taking care of a table when I walked in, however she still made it her business to say "hello". You can walk in and grab a menu from bar entrance (counter) and sit anywhere inside or out. The team is a friendly bunch that pairs well together. I Almost would walk away saying everything was well priced, however my only draw back were the oysters. They were 20.00, and tiny for a half dozen. Other then this the food taste amazing. EVERYTHING was fresh, even the over priced tiny oysters . The Bread was delightful on both the crab dip (which seemed to be a sour dough slice). The bread on the rolls melted in your mouth so buttery and grilled to perfection. I was sad when the last bite came about. To be truthful I would order one to eat and one for the road.... No diet day here and you won't regret it! The Cajun shrimp roll was a burst of flavor. Perfect amount of seasoning on a buttery roll with a Cajun aioli that was splendid on my palate. The pickle on the side is a perfect pairing. You can also select chips, soup or coleslaw for an up charge to the roll. The crab dip was loaded with grab in every bite, perfect amount of spinach and cheese , well worth the price and enough to spread a large amount on all the bread given. Crab bisque was nice and creamy with a buttery flavor. Hit it with the crushed salt, a dash of hot sauce and let's not forget the oyster crackers. Placing you for dance party of flavor in your mouth. The fresh seafood platter was well worth the price. Not over cooked or chewy and super fresh. Good assortment. The shrimp in the garlic butter was a pleasant Burst of flavor in which I poured over everything. To wash that all down I ordered the Guava Jalapeño margarita. Which comes with infused jalapeño tequila. I could sit here, eat a roll of your choosing as you can't go wrong, and have about four of these to stumble out to the beach and layout happy. Your taste buds will thank you! Be sure to check them out... P.S - bathrooms well clean (toilet paper dispenser was broken so it was placed just in the bathroom.
