Honestly, we came in a little defeated after leaving the Front Porch Café--where our food never even arrived--and we were in pretty bad moods. From the moment we sat down at LT Steak & Seafood, everything turned around. The staff was warm, attentive, and absolutely impeccable in every way--truly the opposite of what we had just experienced. The food was outstanding: I had the Popover Benedict, which was hands-down one of the best and most creative twists on Eggs Benedict I've ever had. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich and raved about it through the entire meal. The coffee was also fantastic--fresh, rich, and exactly what we needed. I don't know if it's the war or what but I'm stunned they charged me $21 for three grilled shrimp! Do oil prices affect shrimp prices!? Anyway...maybe it's just Miami. The shrimp was delicious lol but definitely not worth $7 each. The avocado toast was good but the crust was a bit hard so it made it hard to cut through and chew. Other than that, this (avocado toast and 3 shrimp) was good but definitely not worth $52 My waitress was super polite and kind. She was helpful and attentive to my needs. The restaurant is super cute inside. I came right off a long flight in leggings but you should definitely do better than me and wear real clothes. I ordered a tuna roll, nigiri and a side dish to start. I asked to keep a menu because I wasn't quite sure what I wanted for my entree. The server took the menu and I had to google the menu from my phone at the table. One of my dishes was dropped and the server did not check back until it was cold. He would've noticed I didn't have a plate to eat on if he did. They did not clear the empty dishes or really check back at all. The spicy tuna roll was fishy. The only time I received timely service was when I asked for the check. Quite disappointing for a $100 meal. Skip this and go somewhere else, it's not worth it. read more

Nice restaurant in The Betsy Hotel, well well appointed, nice decor that "flows" from the lobby. We had an early dinner, so it was quiet. Our waiter had tables outside as well, so service lagged at times. Drinks were good, food was delicious. Stone crab claw, fish filet and Wagyu sushi were all on point. The LT popovers were very good. Simply amazing. I can't stress how polite, kind and professional the servers were. They were attentive and had such wonderful energy. What a perfect spot for Sunday brunch! The hotel has a pianist in the lobby providing a lovely soundtrack for the classy, understated restaurant, which is open to the lobby. We started with a bottle of Hampton Water rose while we perused the menu and waited for our friends to arrive. They have a nice selection of typical brunch fare, along with interesting cocktails. We started with a Bloody Mary, the Old Cuban and the Purple Rain. All were expertly crafted in both taste and appearance. After we ordered, the server brought a basket of the MOST DELICIOUS popovers to the table. Seriously, fantastically delicious! For food, we had the smoked salmon bagel, the poke bowl, the popover benedict and the French omelet. Everything tasted amazing; the plating was attractive and the food was seasoned perfectly! There was a small snafu with the poke bowl, which was corrected quickly, and the service was a tad on the slow side, even though the restaurant was not busy. Food came out quickly, I barely had a sip of my French rose when the complementary bread arrived. House made popover, still warm. Delicious butter as well. Very tasty and I sopped up some of the sauce with it. Grilled branzino entree arrived on a nicely warmed plate. Beautifully grilled and flavorful. The celery root and spinach purée was a bit on the thin side and hidden under the peashoot salad. The flavor was very subtle. The salad was a bright and an unusual accompaniment. Service is good, but could have been a bit more attentive and engaging. Especially since a 20% gratuity is added automatically. Then again, I'm here to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Chose this restaurant to celebrate a recent life change and it did not disappoint. I found parking on the street for $4 an hour as opposed to $29 valet at restaurant. I arrived a few minutes before my reservation and the greeter asked my preferred seating. I chose inside by the window so I could people watch. Inside is lovely and somewhat loud. There was a band playing smooth rhythms that elevated the vibe. I ordered a filet mignon, grilled asparagus, baked potato and guava lemonade. Guava is literally my new favorite everything. Aleks was my server and he helped get my order in expeditiously. The food was fantastic. I got to meet the Wxecutive chef and chatted with a lovely upper manager Amy. The staff were all very nice and engaging. I'd definitely recommend checking to spot out for an upscale dinner or drinks at bar with a side of people watching. Alex made us feel like we were the only patrons sitting at the bar, and the bar had standing room only. Ironically, it was a few days before Christmas, and Alex was the only bartender working, but he handled it like a champ. Now on to the food.... for appetizers we with Chips, Guacamole and Calamari. Now, don't judge us about the amount of food we ordered. We enjoyed our experience so much that we sat at the bar for so long that we got hungry again and did not want to just sit at the bar occupying a seat. We also ordered sushi, a grouper taco, and the Boucher burger. Each dish was devoured, and we did not want to embarrass ourselves by ordering more. This is the first time in a long time, that it was a complete dining experience. We decided to come back the next night but Alex told us he was off, so we changed our minds. When it came to our drinks, Alex made his bartenders special it was delicious. He called it the St. Grigio. It was right up the girlfriend's alley, as she loves St. Germain. We randomly stopped here during a long layover for a cruise in 2019 and my son has not forgotten the food. We had another overnighter in Miami, so I purposefully booked a hotel (affordable) close to this restaurant on Ocean Drive. We headed over first thing for breakfast. It was as delicious as we remembered! Very very pricey, but definitely above average and fantastic flavor on all dishes. Wonderful restaurant with great selection of dishes. Even with just the starter bread basket of popovers, we were blown away. Probably the most delicious bread basket I've ever had. We ordered THE BETSY ROLL*, 8 Oz Wagyu Skirt Steak with a side of Jalapeño Potato Puree, and the holiday specials: soba noodle peekyote crab meat sea urchin and caviar, tuna toro crudo tataki escalivada. The steak and side were spectacular. I would say if you're looking for sushi, I would recommend a place that specializes just in sushi. Everything else tasted great as well but we weren't blown away. Came with a group of 6 to celebrate a friend's pregnancy before she gave birth. A baby shower brunch if you will. I came here this last Sunday to continue a friend's birthday celebration. The outdoor tables were perfect after a day in the beach, plus as a bonus we got to enjoy some jazz music being played across the street at the city park (though I'm not sure if this was directly related or the restaurant.) We both wanted something light, and their flatbreads and caprese salad hit the spot! The salad had a creamy ball of mozzarella, fresh greens and most originally - grapes! My flatbread was more like a vegetarian pizza with a little drizzle of marinara, shredded cheese and sliced plum tomatoes. They didn't have prosciutto, just regular ham. First world problems, I know, but as a foodie... Since it was my friend's birthday, our waiter brought out both yummy caramel flan (loved that it was served with coffee grounds and chocolate. The flan was creamy and not overly dense. They also brought biscotti with "Happy Birthday " written in chocolate for a nice touch! The popover benedict was good and filling and my lobster benedict which was a special for the day was so delicious with a good amount of lobster and caviar. My only wish is that they would up their coffee game. The regular coffee was on the very bitter side. Service was excellent and they accommodated us and our 2 dogs in a nice outdoor seat. Almost a cream puff texture - crispy on the outside and so light/fluffy inside. It also had a peppery aftertaste? Best bread I've ever had at a restaurant hands down. Only downside is you'll eat it all and be full before your entree arrives. - Cocktails: Old Fashioned, Blood Orange Mai Tai, Cucumber Collins, lychee martini, French 75. All superb! Wonderful experience dining at the LT Steak & Seafood restaurant. Our server, Gonzalo was OUTSTANDING! He was friendly and provided top notch service. We ordered the Tiger Shrimp Cocktail, Poke Tuna with Avocado, Cucumber Collins and the Warm Chocolate Cake with Hazelnut. Everything was delicious. My daughter and I are in the area celebrating our birthdays and Gonzalo surprised us with a treat and Happy Birthday song. The service was so good that I returned for breakfast. We ordered the Warm chocolate cake. I recommend that the pastry chef make these desserts taste better. When half of a chocolate dessert is left among a table of ladies, you know something is definitely wrong. Service Parking: Limited street parking. The hotel has valet.
