I'm dinging this place because of the service. It wasn't fiancé birthday, they were not very busy and we had an early reservation. Our server was rushing us to the point my fiance was like, do you have somewhere else to be? But the food was delicious

Nice restaurant in The Betsy Hotel, well well appointed, nice decor that "flows" from the lobby. We had an early dinner, so it was quiet. Our waiter had tables outside as well, so service lagged at times. Drinks were good, food was delicious. Stone crab claw, fish filet and Wagyu sushi were all on point. The LT popovers were very good. Hotel pool out back! We'd definitely go back. Recommend LT Steak $ Seafood!

Simply amazing. I can't stress how polite, kind and professional the servers were. They were attentive and had such wonderful energy. The food is delicious - I want to say everything on the dinner menu is perfection. Upscale and exuding sophistication - I think the restaurant itself does an amazing job between the food, the ambiance and the overall energy. Yes, it is located on the quieter end of Ocean Drive but it's a must when going to South Beach. Please see my photos!

What a perfect spot for Sunday brunch! The hotel has a pianist in the lobby providing a lovely soundtrack for the classy, understated restaurant, which is open to the lobby. We started with a bottle of Hampton Water rose while we perused the menu and waited for our friends to arrive. They have a nice selection of typical brunch fare, along with interesting cocktails. We started with a Bloody Mary, the Old Cuban and the Purple Rain. All were expertly crafted in both taste and appearance. After we ordered, the server brought a basket of the MOST DELICIOUS popovers to the table. Seriously, fantastically delicious! For food, we had the smoked salmon bagel, the poke bowl, the popover benedict and the French omelet. Everything tasted amazing; the plating was attractive and the food was seasoned perfectly! There was a small snafu with the poke bowl, which was corrected quickly, and the service was a tad on the slow side, even though the restaurant was not busy. However, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was a real delight!

Beautifull curbside dining with light jazz playing in the background. Intimate lighting and seating. Nice wine and cocktail menu and the pricing is commensurate with the location. Food came out quickly, I barely had a sip of my French rose when the complementary bread arrived. House made popover, still warm. Delicious butter as well. Very tasty and I sopped up some of the sauce with it. Grilled branzino entree arrived on a nicely warmed plate. Beautifully grilled and flavorful. The celery root and spinach purée was a bit on the thin side and hidden under the peashoot salad. The flavor was very subtle. The salad was a bright and an unusual accompaniment. Service is good, but could have been a bit more attentive and engaging. Especially since a 20% gratuity is added automatically. Then again, I'm here to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. And that was delivered.

Chose this restaurant to celebrate a recent life change and it did not disappoint. I found parking on the street for $4 an hour as opposed to $29 valet at restaurant. I arrived a few minutes before my reservation and the greeter asked my preferred seating. I chose inside by the window so I could people watch. Inside is lovely and somewhat loud. There was a band playing smooth rhythms that elevated the vibe. I ordered a filet mignon, grilled asparagus, baked potato and guava lemonade. Guava is literally my new favorite everything. Aleks was my server and he helped get my order in expeditiously. The food was fantastic. I got to meet the Wxecutive chef and chatted with a lovely upper manager Amy. The staff were all very nice and engaging. I'd definitely recommend checking to spot out for an upscale dinner or drinks at bar with a side of people watching. The hotel may be a great place to stay as well, though I didn't check out the rooms.

Our eyes were bigger than our appetites, so we chose to share 3 appetizers. I'd had their crab cake before, so that was my first choice. It's a cake stuffed with lots of crap, topped with crunchy kataife. Next was the steak tartare, a huge portion, delicious. Finally was something new, the poke bowl - loads of fresh fish on a bed of sushi rice with lots of other stuff around. Delicious. Of course, the signature popovers are not to be missed. Service is quite attentive. The atmosphere on busy south beach is quiet and initmate.

Now this place was friggin amazing. Yet again, they added gratuity to the bill, and even though I gave more, if they didn't force my hand by adding gratuity to the bill, I more than likely would have given more. Maybe it's a mental thing, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Now, on to the experience.... while still hanging out on South Beach, the girlfriend and I stopped here because we heard another couple raving about this establishment. Let me tell you, they weren't lying. From now on, this will be one of my stops any time I am in Miami, especially if Alex (Bartender) is working. Mannnnnnn let me tell you. Foodies love food; it's our peace, our comfort, our world. You can have a bad day, but put some great food in your face, the world stops, and all things bad disappear for those brief moments as you enjoy the meal. However, when you combine that food experience with exceptional customer service, you feel something out of this world. Alex made us feel like we were the only patrons sitting at the bar, and the bar had standing room only. Ironically, it was a few days before Christmas, and Alex was the only bartender working, but he handled it like a champ. Now on to the food.... for appetizers we with Chips, Guacamole and Calamari. Now, don't judge us about the amount of food we ordered. We enjoyed our experience so much that we sat at the bar for so long that we got hungry again and did not want to just sit at the bar occupying a seat. We also ordered sushi, a grouper taco, and the Boucher burger. Each dish was devoured, and we did not want to embarrass ourselves by ordering more. This is the first time in a long time, that it was a complete dining experience. We decided to come back the next night but Alex told us he was off, so we changed our minds. When it came to our drinks, Alex made his bartenders special it was delicious. He called it the St. Grigio. It was right up the girlfriend's alley, as she loves St. Germain. I went with my old faithful Hendrick Gin, club soda, and a lime. Heck, I'm excited all over again typing this review. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend you all stop by to check this place out. Make sure you go by and patronize Alex.. he rocks! When you do, tell'em Drew sent ya! Y'all be easy! Drew

We randomly stopped here during a long layover for a cruise in 2019 and my son has not forgotten the food. We had another overnighter in Miami, so I purposefully booked a hotel (affordable) close to this restaurant on Ocean Drive. We headed over first thing for breakfast. It was as delicious as we remembered! Very very pricey, but definitely above average and fantastic flavor on all dishes. Proud of the small coffees and meal options, but for $185 we had a yummy breakfast for 4. Sat outside and it was just beautiful. Great location and the service was good. The cinnamon roll was everyone's favorite!

Food- went to restaurant with 4 friends All our meals were very good from the filet mignon to fish, betsy roll and appetizers- not one complaint from anyone Service- server was pleasant to some of us, not so to others quite- Hyde/Jekyll personality, reason for 4 stars instead of 5! The atmosphere was lovely, pianist was exceptional

Walking in you get that old school feel with the staff dressed to the tee and very friendly. They had a special pre fixe menu that was fairly priced which allowed me to try a lot of the menu instead of having to order a la carte. Our server was professional and terse but in a way that I didn't mind and he even scolded some other busboys for taking too long to clear our table which I found funny but appreciated too. I started with the Stuffies which were amazing! The baked clams were dressed up nicely and these were very tasty. The stone crabs were delicious and I loved the dipping sauce it came with. Granted we visited outside of stone crab season and so I'd love to come back when the crabs are more fresh and in season. It also came with sides of hash browns, creamed spinach, and a grilled tomato. While I appreciate the quantity and variety they gave, these sides were a miss for me. The pre fixe concluded with my choice of the Key Lime Pie which was a nice ending for the meal. Nicely balanced between tart and sweetness. My only note would be for the crust layer to be bigger since it would help balance out the pie portion a bit better. We also got the fried chicken which is a steal for only $9. Excellent and crispy skin and very moist! The only dry piece was the breast unfortunately, but otherwise it's hard to find a better fried chicken at this price.

But, when I saw they were advertising a Lamb Gyro for $12 (Tuesdays), I took the leap. Seems it wasn't that far to jump. Although there were table cloths, cloth napkins and silverware, with room for a true dining experience, the fan sitting atop the bar, (blowing-off more air than necessary), and the plastic plants on the walls/ceilings threw-off any pretense I had of the place. When I requested the Lamb Gyro, the server pointed to an entree on the menu for me to approve. I made sure there wasn't another (re: pricier) offer. There was... it was the one he suggested. The gyro itself consisted of a bland (Tzatziki?) sauce that struggled to find my taste buds. Lamb (typically) has a gamey/slightly sweet flavor; these cuts seemed to be found from behind their refrigerator, (not from inside). They certainly weren't cut fresh from a spit, as they were old and nearly tasteless. The included slices of onion and peppers, delegated to the pita bottom, (instead of intermingling) barely helped. The French fries (included in the price) were the most flavorful part of the meal; although, they were an insult, rather than accompaniment to the experience. And, was that Latin (instead of traditional Greek) music coming from the speakers? Along with a 20% "Administrative" fee, I won't be tempted to venture in again.
