How can you not love this place. Great Après ski or any other time. I particularly like it for day drinking.

Toms loft is the quintessential after-ski (don't call it apres, Okemo isn't like Aspen), booze and food joint. Located in a ramshackle barn that's definitely "broken in" they dish out a decent beer selection and copious amounts of bar food. The fish sandwich I had was great. Wife got the pulled pork platter (massive amounts of meat), but it wasn't the best BBQ she's ever had. Friendly service and relatively cheap (~$15/person for one round and food). Still the best place on-mountain to go after a day of blasting your quads down black groomers. read more

Don't eat here! People are unbelievable waited 30 minutes for table family walk in and sat down management did nothing. I complained they asked me to leave. 1st time I've been thrown out of a bar before I had a single drink. Will do everything I can to bad mouth this establishment. read more

This place is your perfect mix of tourists and locals. I visited Okemo mountain during the off peak ski - just past peak foliage season. I can tell that this place is BUSTING AT THE SEAMS when it is peak ski season. It is a "lived in" bar for sure. I'm positive that everyone that lives around Ludlow goes. If it's open, that parking lot has cars in it. It would not really be a go to spot for me as it is sports based - but it's a good dive for sure. We were greeted by a kind and welcoming bartender by the name of Robin. She pours a mean Maker's & Gingah let me tell ya! Nice and stiff and ICE cold. That is my kind of woman. She also went out of her way to make us a list of places we must try - very sweet of her. Drinks were great great great!!! We happen to go in late.. It was not our intention to order 20 minutes before the kitchen closed and it was completely fine. She even spent time with us and suggested things on the menu - we felt welcomed by that. We ordered the cheesiest cheese burger to split because we wanted to leave room for more drinks. The burger came fast and it was just delicious! You can absolutely tell that the cow lived up the road and was cared for perfectly to end up right in between that fresh fluffy bun! Never frozen beef.. That goes without saying.. The fries were good. My companion liked them more than I did - but they did have my hands returning to the mountain for another. The juke box - AHH the juke box. This is always my scene. I love to throw in a 20 and go to town. Not at all impressed with the song selections.. They had the bands that I wanted but not all of the songs. I thought that these things were unlimited?! There isn't an actual CD spinning in there.. It was odd. After the food was gone we found ourselves looking at the exit. It isn't a place I would want to spend an infinite amount of time - but I did like it and I will go back the next time I am at Okemo mountain lodge. read more

Been coming here for 10 years, easily the best bar food on the planet. Over 25 fresh long trail varieties on tap that makes the apres ski highly enjoyable. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich is amazing as is their blue cheese dressing, best Ive ever had. Portions are huge which is fine by me bc the food is so good. Great staff and great people. read more

Came here 2 nights in a row after a week spent in Ludlow and the first night the owner took our orders and made our drinks and everything was great, the second night we came back and sat at the bar and both bartenders seemed to have a stick up there ass. Very rude when asked for cocktails, and just seemed uncomfortable with serving anyone who wasn't a local. Ask for Tom. read more

visited here for lunch recently, my tundra was the smallest vehicle in the lot and certainly had the smallest tires!!! sort of a divey place but pleasant inside, bartender was pleasant and the food was great, i had the brisket sandwich which was as good as any and wife had the fish sandwich from which she ate the fish and declared it excellent....great spot, if you can find a parking place!!!!! read more

We went to this place twice in a weekend. It's so, so close to the okemo base lodge-- maybe a 3 minute walk. They have like 20-25 beers on tap for a reasonable price ($6-8) and the food was great après ski fare. Loaded nachos, huge sandwiches, poutine. Having lunch here is cheaper and more comfortable than on the mountain (not as busy). Highly recommend it! read more

This bar aint a bad dive bar right next to Okemo. I had a $4 harpoon celtic ale. One of the bartenders was a snobby Yankee fan and was afraid of our Red Sox gear we were wearing. also there was four of us in the group and he only gave one free beer shirt and it wasn't me. wtf! but anyways this dive is wicked cheap for being so close to Mountain. Our favorite place to go after a day of skiing!! The bartenders are awesome (Robin and Drew especially), the food is delicious, and they have a bunch of beers on tap (even for us gluten free people!). They actually tapped a beer we were craving even though it wasn't supposed to be on tap for the night. I highly recommend checking it out...but leave a couple bar stools open for us! read more

Be advised that this place is 100% BAR. I had read "Converted barn" (which it is) and had a totally different expectation from what I found at Tom's. It's more bar than restaurant. It has only about 12-15 tables, loud party music, and is mostly full of young people standing and drinking. The prices are fair. The food is bar food-- serviceable, nothing special. Food was very tasty and service was good. Our waiter was a friendly guy and it goes without saying that beer was phenomenal. We sat in the back bar and it was really cold, only downfall for us. The table essentially refrigerated our beers as we were drinking them. TVs in the back bar were great though. "Warm beer, lousey food, grumpy owner" that is the Loft's motto. It is actually the best bar in Ludlow and the food is surprisingly good if all you want is a quality burger or grilled chicken sandwich. The Loft is on the access road to Okemo Mountain Resort between the upper two parking lots. Tom, the owner, is an aging hippie who takes the summer off on the Vinyard (nice life) and knows everyone that is a semi-regular. Tame by Killington standards, it attracts a nice mix of resort workers (think hot ski patrollers, instructors and lifties) as well as guests. Supposedly, two semi-hot girls danced topless on the bar one night, but not while I was there. read more

What a great place! The ambience is amazing... Great food, great service, great experience! This is a must see for all those coming to Ludlow to visit, as well as any local who wants to have a fun night out on the town! Tom really did a really great job with this place. First time in five years I have EVER been disappointed in the food... Which says a lot... We eat here every time we are at our vacation house. Nachos were good as usual. Ribs were almost burned, but not falling off the bone like I would expect. Fries were soggy, may have been reheated, because they tasted like they were cooked in old oil NEVER had food like this at the Loft before, including last week. Should have stuck to the Pulled Pork, or the Philli chicken cheese wrap, which are delicious I will return. Everyone is entitled to a bad night. read more

This place serves amazing bar food. We were a party of six on a Thursday night. We only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. To start we ordered a large nachos and 20 wings for the table and then we each ordered an individual meal. It was way too much food because the portions are enormous. The hot and BBQ wings were very good, nice texture and seasoning. The large nachos were served on a standard pizza pie plate! We should have stopped then because, like I wrote, the portions are enormous. The nachos were crisp, loaded and delicious. When my pulled pork sandwich came out it was two piles of pulled pork on top of a hidden roll. You could not see the roll there was so much meat. I had to eat it with a fork. The french fries were so overloaded that they were falling off the plate. Everything was well seasoned and really tasty. Did I mention that the portions are enormous? The beer selection was very good as there was a ton of Vermont micro brews. My wife ordered the chicken and shrimp basket and you could tell that the chicken and shrimp were top notch quality (real chicken breast - fresh jumbo shrimp). The chef came out and checked on us halfway into our meal. The prices were appropriate and a really good value for the quantity and quality of the meals. We are going back next year with my wife's younger cousins so they can take advantage of the arcade on the 3rd floor. The only downside was the low ceilings (watch your head) and the bathrooms which are in sore need of updating based on the clearly longstanding stains on the porcelain. If you are in the mood for a delicious and filling meal after a day of skiing, you cannot do better than Tom's Loft Tavern. read more

This tavern has excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed drinks and food on Friday night. However, we went back on Saturday for a few drinks. We were staying walking distance away. There was a male bartender who we absolutely loved, he was extremely friendly. Me and a few friends took three shots then out of nowhere, a female manager that we hadn't talked to all night came up to us and said "I will sell you guys a bud light and that's it" we were very confused and not at all drunk. We all gave her a puzzled look and she said "i will offer you guys a bud light or YOU CAN LEAVE" honestly one of the rudest managers I've ever seen in my life. Appalled with the management and her reasoning for cutting us off. Was not impressed with the way she dealt with situations. read more
