I've been going to The Londoner on and off for 15 years. They are totally consistent. There are many beer options as well as a full bar. The inside is wonderfully dark. Think Sunday morning hangover brunch. You can go in and enjoy the dark, pub scene or sit on the patio and have a smoke. Full waitress service that is fast and very friendly. The brunch menu has eggs and bacon but also has some English traditional meals. They are known for playing soccer matches and fans fill the place up at times- so check the schedule to prepare for the experience. If there's a match, it will be quite loud and boisterous. A light snack to get our appetites wet before our big dinner, how could one go wrong with a British pub? We walk in around 4 pm on a Saturday and it seems slow. We grab a table by the bar and it takes forever to get noticed. When we finally get the menus, the waitress mentions that a game just ended so everyone wants their bill. The boys order up a pint of Shiner ($3.75) each and we share the Combo Plate for $10.95. It comes with nachos, wings, chicken tenders, and a quesadilla. When it arrived, us hungry souls didn't waste any time. The surprise treat were the chicken tenders! Beer batter and deep-fried, they were super moist and oh-so good! We talked about ordering up just a platter of the Chicken Tenders ($6.95) on its own. The London wings were standard, nothing particularly special about them, same with the nachos and quesadilla. When we were ready to go, it took forever to wave the waitress down again. She was at the other end wiping down check folders and chatting it up with a customer. One pub that you should go to for the food and not just the alcohol. We've been there a few times and have tried the fries, New Delhi sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, mini sliders, and the wings. Everything was super delicious. Even the appetizers can be entries because of their quantity. The staff is extremely friendly although it can get really busy and the server might forget to check in. The inside area is smoking area, so decide where to sit accordingly. They were also voted #1 for watching EPL. read more

Ok, would of given them 5 stars, but they still allow smoking in the main part of the bar, but then the server said most of their regular customers were smokers so they created a couple of non-smoking rooms for people like me. I had the Cheese tray which was great. I had been a fan of the Colleyville establishment but it suddenly closed. I always thought it was great, but I'm not running it so I guess it wasn't staying above water, so to speak. I had a good martini and my date had a grapefruit martini. It was good. I'm not in that part of DFW very often as I live in Hurst, but I will be back if I'm in the area and in need of a good English pub fix. read more

We joined a large group there today for a friend's birthday lunch. Probably 20 of us. Mostly couples but a few singles. We lucked out and got a brand new waitress as well as her being new to the states and today may have been her first day. Natalie is her name and she is effecient and delightful. Most of our group got either the fish and chips or the Reuben sandwich with fries. My fish and chips was delicious. Very light but puffy batter and moist perfectly cooked fish. Fries were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. Friends 5 friends at our table all got Reubens and all said delicious and would definitely order again. Staff was very accommodating of our group and birthday cake and shamrock cookies. All had a wonderful time and will be going back. Also friends drinking beer were very pleased with options and selections. 1 in group got the chicken salad on a warm croissant that she said tasted like it was right out of oven and very flavorful and FRESH. My first trip but not my last. Thinking about going back this Saturday. Hope you enjoy as much as we did and unfortunately i didn't take any photos as wasn't expecting to be as delighted as we were. It really is a pub. The second you walk in, you'll be hit with the smoke of a dozen cigarettes. It's very dark inside and there's a couple of different seating options. I sat at the bar and can't say I received the same friendly/attentive service that other people are raving about from the bartender. It was alright. I first started going to the Londoner in 2006 and have been going there off and on ever since. Until this last visit a week ago on Saturday, I personally had never had any problems. The staff has always been extremely friendly and the service has been outstanding. However, a friend and I decided to stop here and have a few drinks around 9pm. We got there and there were two bartenders, a guy named Jake and a female. Jake took great care of us and we never had to ask for a refill because he always had a fresh beer in front of us. He was cut because it wasn't very busy leaving just the female bartender who completely ignored us for over 15 minutes. Finally, my friend went to the manager, Doug who we have known since the beginning and asked him for a beer. He came over after awhile and informed us the bartender did not want to serve us because she "didn't like us". That shocked me because even though I had seen her around Addison and she had worked at the Londoner for awhile, I have never said a word to her. Doug proceeded to tell us that it was her decision so we got our tabs and left. I have never been cut off before so this was very disappointing that a bartender cuts us off because of who we know. Until she is gone, I will not recommend the Londoner to anyone. read more

I arrived a skeptic and left a believer. Surely, this had to be another fake British pub with three imports on the menu and American macro brews served next to reheated fried stuff. No sir! The Londoner offers a variety of imported whiskies including many (my favorite) Irish whiskies. In addition to that, they have a large beer menu filled with good stuff from Europe as well as local microbrewes on tap and in bottles. Drink a Tupps Black, recommended by my waitress. You'll be glad you did. The late night menu could use more variety. But it's ten bloody thirty, so how am I to complain? I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger even though it isn't on the menu. They made it. And it was delicious. You should order it too. Service was great even though there weren't many servers given how many customers were here. They seem to know what they are doing around here. The atmosphere was nice. A comedian on a mic did trivia as well as karaoke. There are games and stuff around to hold your attention. Come here. Went here once before. Enjoyed the food, good service. Went here a week or so ago, several people sitting outside watching soccer. I walked inside to eat dinner, non smoking side was completely empty. I sat down at a table, bartenders saw me. I sat for 10 minutes and nobody came over to serve. During that time, I made eye contact several times with waiters and bartenders....they looked over and saw me sitting there....nothing. I finally got up and left. Disappointed to say the least. I came on a Wednesday at 2pm on vacation for a couple beers. The bartender was great; personable, but not overbearing. This is probably the most legitimate pub feel you can get in north Dallas. The beer selection (and whiskey) is great! While it's not the largest selection around, what they do carry is well thought out. This was actually a confusing review for me to write. I really want to love this place and am rooting for it. Dig the Irish pub vibe, the food is actually decent (the corned beef hash is quite unique and tasty), beer selection is good, but it feels a little run down and dumpy on the inside. I think if they just did a little updating and cleaning it would bring in additional customers. I went twice because I was hoping maybe I was wrong the first time...I really want to like it a lot. Cool vibe for international soccer fans, but again, not a place that will bring much repeat from other clientele. Service was also very mediocre.
