Terribly disappointed. No doubt they were very busy and are probably understaffed, but it was over 30 minutes from when we ordered a bowl of tomato bisque and a cheeseburger with fries and we still didn't have out food. I finally went up to ask where they were and was told they were waiting in fries. A few more minutes later, we were up, but they apparently couldn't spare many fries. I should've taken a picture, but my husband was trying to hurry so he could take a work call, but there were realistically 15 fries MAX; may have been less. He said his burger was great, but the bisque was flavorless despite it saying there was bacon in it. I didn't taste bacon, but it was certainly greasy feeling. The Asiago "croutons" were 2 slices of rolls with cheese that wasn't crunchy like a crouton, but wasn't a fresh roll either. I won't eat the bisque or the croutons because I would enjoy a can of Campbell's much more. I know they are capable of doing much better, that combined with cheeseburger was good is why I gave it 3 stars tonight. read more

Good meal for under $40 for both of us. Fish sandwich excellent with lots of fish. Waffle fries done crispy and perfect. Salad was very good and soups ok. Tomato bisque is very good. Shrimp corn chowder a bit too thick and somewhat uninspired. Overall meal was good, no complaints. read more

The employee there had just finished taking an order and she walked away. She joined a few other employees facing away from us having a loud conversation about someone they knew. Got the Loop to go and really enjoyed it. My mom got the salmon sandwich with the broccoli and mentioned how good the broccoli was it was so soft and melt in the mouth. The salmon was also good and not too spicy, perfectly seasoned. I got the portobello sandwich and it was good, but didn't really have much flavor, maybe if the mushroom was marinated it would have had more punch. But it was still really good, not greasy. The Loop is place to where you dine in or take-out; I've done both. The burger was good and a good portion. I have also had the Asian Chicken wrap, it was good and tasty. The place operates as a sort of fast food restaurant but the food quality and service are much better. I will come back. read more

This restaurant is a franchise chain restaurant. It can be either excellent or horrible depending upon the location. If you visit the franchise chain restaurant in Southside Jacksonville, you'll find excellent service and food. If you visit the franchise location in Fernandina Beach, you'll find just the opposite experience if our experience is any measure--- horrible service and dodgy quality. The service & food at the Fernandina location was so bad during our visit the attendant at the register offered us a $25 coupon as a credit towards another visit. We thanked them for their courtesy and left without the coupon. read more

Oh my goodness! The best burger I've had in a while. Bacon cheddar burger with steak fries and a cherry coke. Wife and daughter were also happy with their meals which they finished them all and were happy. My wife got the blue cheese chips which were awesome. The service was great also. Was really hangry for a pizza on a Monday afternoon. On Mondays, the best pizza places are closed. So we went to the Loop for the first time, perused the menu and decided on a Farmers Market veggie pizza, minus the standard artichokes, because artichokes on pizza are just wrong. However: What a mistake. Zilch red sauce, although near the crust, there was a faint outline. Heavy duty on Calamata olives. I mean, WHO puts calamatas on pizza? Totally ruined the taste. Very few mushrooms, a lot of green peppers, few onions. However, upon closer examination of the menu after the fact, it seems they use calamatas in everything. You'd need to specify BLACK olives and delete the calamatas, like we did with the artichokes. Still.... Only good thing I can say about our meal was the Sierra Nevadas were $3.25, unbelievably cheap. Nope. Not going back. Note to self: no pizza on Mondays for the future. Wait for Tuesday and go somewhere that excels in pizza craft. read more

A solid 3 stars for The Loop, not extraordinary, but not awful. My husband's burger was supposed to be medium but was oozing with blood, so while the kiddos and I finished our meals, he had to wait on a replacement order, which was served, well, in the medium-rare range. I guess they compensated the wait and error by piling on fresh (better than the first time around) fries and more accoutrements. As with a few previous reviews, we walked in a little confused as to the flow of the restaurant, so for Loop-noobs, grab a menu at the door and hover there to figure out what you want before getting in line at the counter. The drink and condiment corner was clean and well-stocked and during a busy dinner-rush, they had staff quickly on-hand to bus and straighten up tables. Value was pretty good as my garden salad was toppling off the plate and garnished with lots of cajun chicken, much more protein than most restaurants pile on a salad. Kids' meals came with a reasonable quantity of food for the cost as well. I'm not sure if this is the same "Loop" chain that used to have a location in Sandy Springs, GA, but when there was one there (closed many years ago), I recall the lay-out being equally scattered upon first entry, and the pizza just being so-so. I don't know if this restaurant would earn a repeat the next time that we're in town, but it was good and filled up our family of 4 at a decent cost. read more

Food was not that great. They ask how you want your burger cooked yet they all come out well done. The burgers were dry. The service was the same. Cashier was okay. My buzzer went off and still had to wait because the cashier and other employee weren't paying attention. I still collard excuse I'm several time.
