I really liked the matcha here! They have two sizes -- I got the 24oz for about $8 and it was good, goes really well with oat milk. They also have a lot of other drinks and snacks to choose from. The staff were friendly and explained things clearly. Their good vibes actually made my sleepy day so much better. My job got new offices located in Santa Ana, and this coffee shop is close by to us. Due to boss buying us lunch and my coworker grabbing me one yesterday I've tried this place out two times, and have been completely satisfied! I've tried the caramel macchiato iced, and it was the perfect amount of caramel and yesterday I tried La Paz, and I enjoyed that as well. I love how they use crushed ice that DOESN'T melt the coffee! When I worked nearby, I used to come to The Lost Bean Monday through Friday, and it quickly became my go-to café. The staff here is really nice, and I honestly miss seeing them. Their dirty chai was one of my favorites, along with another coffee I can't quite remember the name of, but I always loved it. I never once had a disappointing experience. The second time I went, I ordered an iced monkey latte and an espresso which apparently comes with three shots, but seemed more like one and a half, so wasn't thrilled about paying full price for that. This coffee shop is literally a hidden gem because it's hidden from the main road and faces the opposite direction. It's basically part of a business complex with several office buildings, so it's not your traditional location for a coffee shop either. However, it was super close to my hotel, so I paid them a visit. Once inside, it is similar to many modern american coffee shops. I liked the monkey mocha iced latte and the chocolate zucchini bread. I wish there was more banana flavor, because I barely tasted any, but it was tasty as it was. The service was about average. The cashier comes off as short with you, but that is just how many people in California are compared to the southern states. read more

So I parked on the wrong side when I got here so heads up, you definitely want to park on the corner where you can see the coffee shop out front. Entering the coffee shop it looks like a sort of more industrial feels like very office people vibes so I think it's a great place to get work done. They have plugs and even booths that are enclosed for getting work done. Loved how welcoming Diane was. She asked me many questions to figure out what kind of drink that I might appreciate and she recommended a lavender vanilla cold cream on top of drip, which I loved and ended up getting some coffee beans as well. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely be back for more coffee beans. I also love that they gave me a free, drip coffee with my local organic coffee beans! read more

Found my new work from home spot! I finally made it to the Lost Bean and wish I'd found this place a long time ago. It's located off Dyer rd. in a business park next to the county Environmental Health building which I guess I would classify a hidden gem. Plenty of parking out front and upon entering I noticed plenty of both indoor and outdoor open seating which includes booth seats and these cute little study rooms with foldable glass doors which are first come first serve. The study rooms are the main selling point for me. I've been to so many coffee shops and none of them have an isolated work booth. I actually had a Teams meeting with my boss in one of the booths and she said, "It sounds like there's an echo or you're in a room with an echo?" That being said, it does sound like you're broadcasting live from your bathroom but what's even cooler is there's a sign above the door that says, "ON AIR" when you close the accordion door! I thought since this awesome place is located in a business park away from the main retail drags it might sacrifice the coffee taste or quality but it's actually better. I've been trying to find a decent cold brew with pumpkin spice cold foam from various Starbucks (I feel like they watered down their pumpkin drinks this year) and every time the cold foam is either thin or already dissolved into the drink and loses all flavor. I ordered a caramel macchiato and added their lavender maple cold cream to the top and it literally was a thick fluffy cloud that stayed a float my drink for an hour and it was delicious! Even when I finished the drink there was still remnants of the cream at the bottom. I also tried their snickerdoodle cookie and oatmeal and both were bomb. When I arrived this morning around 7:50 a.m. there was one woman named Donna running the show. She took orders, made the drinks, made my oatmeal and was out cleaning the tables on the main floor. I don't know why but I felt like she gave me total hero mom vibes. She was really nice while being efficient at the same time and when I got stuck inside the booth (you gotta push the middle of the door to open it) or needed directions to the restroom (there's a door to the left of the register and you turn right) she was totally nice and helpful. If you need a place to work or study that's not terribly crowded and open during the day, this is it. read more

I'm a regular here with my work being nearby. Coffee is great and does its job to get me through my day! Donna is always warm and welcoming; she remembers everyone's names and regular orders. She knows that I get a cafe au lait w/ oat in the AM or a cold brew if I show up in the afternoon. She is also pretty fast during that morning rush. Best food item they had was the pumpkin pie from a couple years ago. Bring that back!!!! read more

TLDR; No coffee taste, Latte hot AF, Milk scalded like it came out of Hell, And a nasty burn. I visited Thursday January 4th around 12pm. I'd like to open by sharing that service was kind and quick. I have no faults there and the ambiance is nice. That out of the way, the latte I ordered was just ok. Strong milk taste, I'm certain it was scalded. Little to no espresso taste. Now onto the meat of this review, there are huge issues in how I was served my drink. Firstly, the drink was full all the way to the top and was handed over without a sleeve or lid. This will be important later. I went to the sidebar about 6-8 feet away from where the drink was placed on a counter. I had to walk slow not to spill and got my lid and sleeve and walked slowly out of the establishment. This is where things quickly went SOUTH. Like yee haw DEEP South. I lifted the cup to take a sip and it was so hot no less than 75c. So hot that if it was tap water you couldn't keep your skin under it for literally one second unless your nerves are shot. I pulled it down from my mouth and took another step forward and the contents sloshed out of the sippy hole on the lid and onto my hand. It was bried contact and I quickly shifted the drink to my other hand to wipe the spilt coffee off. I thought that the drink spilt just because of my reaction to the heat. Nope. The drink was filled to the top so it easily sloshed out of the lid and burnt the F out of the skin between my right hand thumb and index finger. The burning lasted over 3 hours. Nightmare. Another coffee shop on my junk list. A bad latte and a bad burn are a match made in heaven. read more

In my continuous search for new and delicious coffee places I stumbled upon this unassuming cafe during a work break. This place might be difficult to find as it's tucked away among a newly built corporate/office building center. When you turn into the parking lot, it is located the second building on your right-hand side. Despite it's small size, the cafe has ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Especially love the outdoor patio set-up. They have an extensive menu. The barista behind the counter pointed out some of the flavored syrups and seasonal drinks they offered which I appreciate. Since it was my first time here, I decided to go for a classic option: an ice coffee, spicing it up with a cinnamon cream add-on for an additional $1. Cream is on the sweeter side but the cinnamon flavor is very prominent. Mixed into the coffee gave my drink a nice balance. Would come again to try more of their menu.
