I went in for color expecting a simple process. I showed her the brunette I was hoping for beforehand. I could tell as soon as it was done that it was darker than I was hoping but nothing I could do about that at that point. She was friendly enough so I left a good tip and headed out. As soon as I looked in the mirror with the outside lighting I cried. My hair was so dark with a PURPLE AND REDDISH TINT on the top half of my head only. Cried the whole way home. The lighting in the studio was darker so I couldn't see the tinted color there. But wait, it gets worse. Went home and took a pic of the back and noticed GREEN splotches throughout the back. Then remembered that she never showed me the back, there's no way she couldn't see how bad it looked and still let me walk out of there. Texted her and sent a picture asking if it was fixable. She has the audacity to respond and say "That is not what it looked like when you left. You saw it in the mirror." What?! Did she think I somehow did this to my own hair after leaving her chair? While she offered to fix it the next day, there was absolutely no way I trusted her to further ruin my hair so told her I felt uncomfortable returning. She never responded again and didn't apologize. I washed my hair a few times in those next two days and SO much dye kept coming out (which I know some can wash out after dye but this was filling up my entire shower even several washes later). The more I washed it, the redder and more purple it turned on the top half of my head. Ended up finding an amazing salon to help me but had to spend $300 to fix both the color and the cut (new stylist said the cut was crooked and not well done). Long story short, don't do it. It's now going to take me months to get my hair healthy and to the color I actually wanted it...and a whole lot more money.

She later solicited my business via text. I gave her a 2nd chance and booked an appointment. I told her that I was part of a wedding party and that the appointment could NOT be changed once made. She asked for the money upfront and she promised the date was set in stone. She later texts me and asks to change the appointment because she was going on vacation. I was very unhappy and reminded her of our agreement. She gave me her word that she would do it the following day and said she would never do anything to ruin someone's wedding. I texted her the day she told me she was returning to confirm the time and address since the appt. was for the AM. I sent her 4-5 texts. The next day she refunded my money and refused to do my hair as promised leaving my high and dry. As someone else stated she makes excuse after excuse and has no consideration for clients. Her word means absolutely nothing and she's utterly unreliable! She uses her family as an excuse every time for her unprofessionalism! The events I witnessed versus what she described in her review do not align at all. I observed Gail and Danielle calmly speaking with Lindsey, then Gail offered the solution of redoing her hair for free the next day. I never witnessed Gail or Danielle raising their voices or communicating in such a way that would raise red flags to other nearby customers (like myself). I had Sidra for my stylist. I am not sure if she is the only one who is/was offering that deal, but I am glad that she was the one who did my hair! Sidra has 17 years of experience in this field, and also teaches--so she knows what she's doing. My husband said he would have paid her just to wash my hair, because he knows how much I love to have my hair clean. She did a thorough job, used warm water, and massaged my scalp. It was wonderful. For my style, I asked her to trim my hair and cut my bangs so that they fall over my face a little. Then I wanted wavy curls. Sidra did just that. I was really impressed that she took her time to do it carefully and thoroughly. She didn't rush or treat me as any less important for being a lower paying customer. She spent over an hour to make it just right. My husband and I enjoyed conversing with her meanwhile. I don't know about coloring as I've never dyed my hair, but I would definitely recommend this place for a nice haircut/style. After 15 minutes I asked how late is the owner (the only stylist) running. I was not given a clear answer - instead I was asked what time was my appointment that I needed to make after my styling session. I'm sorry that is not an appropriate response. I waited 37 minutes past my appointment time before I was taken in the back. Then I saw why the holdup. The one stylist had 4 (i was the 5th) clients. Excuse me. I make an appointment for a ding dang reason. I was hot. The hair styling was meh, I can and often do better on my own. She's also not used to doing blow outs on my type of hair. The dryer was way too hot and she burned me. Eventually I had to hold up a wash cloth to my ear for protection. No ma'am. The makeup job was meh also - again I could have done better. It's an old house turned into a salon. The owner, Verbena, was very professional and friendly as well as the other stylist there. Tiffany did a great job on my 'natural transition', I would fully recommend her for your hair care needs.
