I was visiting from out of town and this coffee shop was very close to my Airbnb. I tried their Lavender Maple Iced Latte and their breakfast burrito. I'm still dreaming about this burrito. It was seriously so good. I'm a vegetarian, so I removed the bacon... but the included hash browns in this burrito make it unique from what I've had with others. What a charming gem in Madisonville! This coffee shop has all the feels. Friendly staff, cute interior decor, outdoor space, reasonable prices for food, cute little pastries, and delicious and refreshing coffee and teas. Came here on a Saturday around 1pm. It was busy but they were moving along quickly. They have a limited menu of sandwiches but a broad range including vegetarian options. I tried the Sinatra and it was delicious. The nana peppers fo well with the ham and salami, and the Mayo sauce they had brought out some of the flavors with the arugula. Freshly made and the perfect amount of food for lunch paired with a bakery croissant. The croissant i had was the pistachio chocolate. It doesn't just have pistachios on top or a sprinkle of ground pistachios on top. The inside is filled with chocolate and a pistachio filling that is a fresh flavor, not artificial. I highly recommend getting it warmed. I also tried the lavender hibiscus iced tea which was perfect for the humid 85 degree weather. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff works hard to get things out in a timely manner. You get drinks and bakery items fast and have to wait a little for the sandwiches but it is worth the wait. I love so close to this cafe and didn't know it! I will definitely come back for brunch or even pick up some items on my way to work! Highly recommend! read more

This place is a hidden secret. Who would know such a chic place exists in Madisonville, Ohio. It is right across the street from the Maserati/Alfa Romeo dealership. The area has really transformed since I lived in the area. The restaurant is adorable and the food is great. I had the Bailey sandwich and it was to die for. It's a breakfast sandwich. The coffee is good, service is friendly and everything is affordable. They have a piano if you want to share your talent and they have many books if you feel like reading. What's not to like? The Madison Place was a very pleasant surprise we wandered into. What a lovely place!! Beautiful ambience and the friendliest people. We had a yummy lunch of melted cheese and Veggy sandwich on focaccia. My husband had a beef brisket sandwich and we shared a delicious blueberry scone. We got sodas but the coffee looked amazing. I was already at my limit so I couldn't indulge. But, the small was amazing. They're open early for breakfast and have lots of egg choices. A grand piano stood open for anyone to play and the coziness of the place was just screaming, "come and stay a while." read more

Split between multi use spaces- outdoor patio, cafe seating, more casual relaxed space with great lighting and decor. Overall a great place to spread out and meet friends, work or spend some time reading. Great later hours (thank you!!) Staff was engaging and friendly- everyone that walked in seemed to know each other and catch up. Covid safe feeling with masks and tables spread. This is a great and much-needed local coffee company in the Madisonville/Marimont/Madison Place area. Coffee is good, serving locally roasted beans by Deeper Roots. Baristas get better every time I come. Sandwiches and all the made-to-order items are great. The space is very cool, creative, clean, warm, and welcoming with ample seating available. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I go through their seasonal drink menu every season. Winter- my favorite is the toasted marshmallow mocha. I love their lavender lattes too. The decorations and vibes inside are amazing and the baristas are so nice and friendly. They food is slightly expensive but so worth the price! There is a few spots of the side of the building, free street parking in the neighborhood, and a little parking lot slightly to the right across the street. There were lots of students here studying, and this is the perfect place for that. It was a very large coffee shop with lots of seating, primarily for small groups or individuals. I ordered the Yerba mate iced tea with spicy mango and it was an incredibly unique drink. I have never tried anything like it, but it was quite delicious. It had enough spice to get that wonderful refreshment and energy but not so spicy that I would need to follow it with water or anything like that. This place is beautiful on the inside! I ordered a vanilla iced latte with a chocolate croissant and the service was very quick! The coffee was good (not my favorite but still above average) and my croissant was okay- it was a little hard for 8 am in the morning. I plan on returning for a couple study dates because this place has the best environment for it! It gives the feel of a cozy but fancy library on the inside and inspires me to be productive.
