Was in the area and looking for a good cup of coffee (cold brew) and found one. The staff were kind and welcoming. The place was homey. Seems to has lots of regulars but I wasn't made to feel like an outsider. Had a breakfast sandwich and it was just okay. Loved the cold brew! read more

This place is a little scary getting into due to people flying down Beechmont. If you do make it inside, you'll find a surprising amount of space and a beautiful mural. The staff were super nice and friendly, too. Definitely get a card to stamp and work toward a free drink! My fall-themed latte was also pretty good. My only complaint is the drinks usually take time to get cold even with me stirring them. read more

I love this local coffee shop. You can tell they love what they do. They make a variety of fresh pasties. Their drip coffee is freshly made and is usually what I get. Anytime I've ever had a friend visit we stop by and they love it as well. They even have spacious seating. read more

Such a great coffee shop. Lots of fun drink options as well as your usual coffee shop go-to's. The drive through is a huge bonus! Service was fast and great, and there is lots of seating inside + space for kids to hangout. Will be visiting again when I am in the area. read more

Luck man is a small little coffee shop off Beechmont that features a small kids play area, seating for working, and a few chairs by the window for conversing with friends. They have some fun drink flavors and unique snacks - I grabbed a Strawberry Cornmeal Muffin & it was delicious! It may be hard to find seating if you go during a busy time, but the people were friendly and the coffee was tasty so I recommend going for an afternoon pick me up! read more

Good coffee. Do not buy a bagel. They are terrible! Honestly don't understand why they would sell something that tastes like a cheap, generic bagel you buy in the bread section at the grocery store. Truly awful. We fed it to the dog. She didn't like it either. read more

Nice little coffee shop between Mt. Washington and Mt. Lookout. Stopped in on a Sunday around 12pm. Greeted right away, and the drinks came out pretty quick. The first thing I noticed is the prices. These have to be some of the best prices for coffee that I've seen in a long time. They have some pastries and a small menu for food as well. There is plenty of parking in front and very easy to get in and out of the plaza. No drive thru for coffee at this location. They also have pretty extensive hours. I love Luckman Coffee. I love Coffee. Must have all the caffeine. I stopped here mid afternoon for a pick me up. Their Cincinnati Mocha is the perfect pick me up at any time of day. What is this you ask? Basically spicy Chocolate, yesssss. This time I tried it with almond milk which I enjoyed as it made it a little less rich/filling. They had the cutest case full of all kinds of specialty muffins that looked irresistible, so I chose the Ginger Pear. It had real, large pieces of pear, and a light ginger flavor. It was super moist which was perfect, as a lot of times bakery muffins can be dry. The barista behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was clean and organized. There is a small seating area inside beneath a really cool mural. I think there are usually tables outside for the warmer months. Came to Luckman Coffee to meet up with a friend. If it weren't for my friend living so far away, I probably would never have stepped foot into this little coffee shop. Immediately upon entry, you can tell that this is a place for regular's in the area. The decor is sparse, but what decor there is, it's all about coffee. Old espresso presses and other little trinkets. They sell local Grateful Grahams and single-serving quiches, but I gotta say, their coffee is really great! And like I've mentioned in all my other reviews of coffee shops, I suck at coffee, but I actually really enjoyed it here! I ordered an espresso con panna and it was so well done, I, for once, didn't gag from drinking it! Well done!! The one thing I wish they had were homemade biscotti, as it would have made the perfect pairing. They do have packaged biscotti, but they didn't look very appetizing. Too bad! read more

Voted Cincinnati's Best Coffee by Cincinnati Magazine for a reason. A much better coffee, espresso, service and atmosphere than any national brand. Friends don't let friends drink the Starbucks next door. They tend to hurt people's feelings over there. This place is doing great business. Check out the name tag! Luckmans Coffee at 5200 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45202 231-1040 is the worlds best coffee house. The young brothers who run it do it with a passion That is off the charts. They are not only great musicians they are a great businessman/musicians/baristas and despite being on national TV playing their music they put their hearts into bringing joy to the people of Cincinnati through the worlds greatest coffeehouse. They had no confirmation I was coming in but were ready with name tag. call ahead and they'll fix up your order unlike most all others. read more

This place won my heart in two visits. The first time I went, I had paper grading to do. They had delicious coffee to fuel me up and tasty breakfast sandwiches. And for real, I spent as much on a coffee and a breakfast sandwich as neighboring chain store Star "tastes like burning" Bucks would charge just for the sandwich. And Luckman makes a tasty breakfast sandwich that reminded me of something my mom would make. As opposed to microwaved frozen grossness of the other place. Second time, I needed to work on my syllabus and course documents for a new semester. If you ever wondered about adjunct teaching, this is when you basically render your pay less than minimum wage by spending pretty much two solid days getting things organized at the start of the semester. And then you still have weeks of teaching and grading ahead of you. Bleh. But anyway, I've digressed. I was gonna go straight for a breakfast sandwich and coffee again, but two of the brothers were discussing the names of their muffins. To make life more interesting, they decided to give them all strange names, partially to see what they could get people to say out loud. Officially, my kind of people. So I ended up with a rainbow sprinkles infested muffin called "Happy Man" Muffin and a wicked case of the giggles when I realized later on that I had a Happy Man inside me. The large coffee was perfect, and I sat and worked on my boring adjunct crap until it started to get a little crowded and I needed a change of scenery. Also, I bumped into someone I hadn't seen in ages, so that was cool. Love this neighborhood coffee shop for all its quirks and deliciousness. I expect to get some serious paper grading accomplished here in the future and to lose count of my visits. read more

Came across this small little shop when out and about with my husband for some shenanigans without the kiddos. Having never been here before we both went for simple iced coffees. I asked for oat milk and mocha to my small cup, turned out super sweet. Perhaps they don't portion for cup size. I also snagged a breakfast sandwich. Not bad! Service was quick and staff is friendly. What a gem! Came on a Saturday morning for coffee with a former boss whom I know consider a friend. She suggested it as it's almost smack in the middle of us. I ordered a macchiato and quiche dog and loved both. We ended up talking for HOURS, almost until just before the placed closed (we arrived around 9:30). In the time that we were there, this place jumping almost nonstop. Lots and lots of people but it was never overly crowded. I recommend coming in here versus Starbucks which is basically in the same little strip mall. Drink and eat local! read more

Who wouldn't love Luckman's?! Although Starbucks is right next door, I'll stop in at Luckman's every time. Their Caramel Macchiato is awesome, very creamy. We drive all the way for a coffee and something to eat... Just to discover new coffee shops. Unfortunately their web page says they close at 6:30pm monday-saturday and we got there on Wednesday at 5:20pm and they close at 5:30pm. There's extra seating downstairs which we took but it was a little chilly sitting by the doors! There's a wide patio that looked to be really fun in the warmer months- I bet it definitely makes a visit on a gorgeous day! My mom and I both got the peanut butter cup mocha. I thought it was quite delicious but we did notice it settled quite a bit and wished we had something to stir it with. Overall, I think this is a place I would visit for the neat area/ good vibes but not necessarily for the quality of their coffee drinks. They also had cocktails, mocktails, and full bar offerings and some light bites so I feel like there's more to discover! Hope to be back!

They have regulars and remembered their standard orders even with a line 10 people deep We had bacon/sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches on croissants and they were delicious and fresh! My Aztec mocha was the optimal blend of spicy and sweet and the kids drank their hot chocolate in the blink of an eye. I wish I still lived in town and could visit here more. Maybe I'd become a regular ;) will definitely return when I'm in Cincinnati!

The first thing that you notice walking up is a nice amount of outside seating curbside, then upon entering the smell of freshly roasted coffee and hot buttery croissants. You're greeted by a couple friendly servers. It's very small inside, a few tables and some seats by the front window, so I imagine at a busy time of day it would be tight inside. I ordered a ham and Swiss crosspoint and a small drip coffee. (Sumatran Italian roast). It was under $7.00 before tip, not bad! I sat in the last table facing the door and noticed an apothecary style wall cupboard full of ground coffee! Service was fast, in and out in no time. And my food? O m g, delicious! Flaky, buttery, right amount of ham and cheese. My literal thought was that I should have ordered 2. The coffee was 5 stars alone! Just go, you gotta try it. Order sone freshly roasted coffee from them online!
