After my recent visit I probably won't order anymore. The consistency is not there. I usually receive whole pieces of cucumber cut into chunks. This recent salad was chopped up into pieces which made it salty and not appetizing or enjoyable. It was a waste. I couldn't finish it. That never happens. Im sad. We got there around 530pm on a Friday night so it wait wasn't too bad, that being said it's a small space so be prepared to wait if you have a large group or come at dinner rush. The beef was nice and tender with the perfect balance between meat and tendon. They did not cheap out on the meat and the dish was around $13. My friend got the pork noodles and he said it may be the best he has ever had and he lives in New York City. We arrived on a Friday night and there was a wait. The Chinese beef burrito doesn't sound or seem like an authentic Chinese dish but it's darn good and easily shareable as an appetizer. Another good appetizer is the onion pancakes. They are made absolutely fresh to order and are perfect. Of course, you must order the Beef Brisket Noodle which comes in a giant soup bowl. Depending on your appetite, you can either have this for your entire meal or share it with someone. Our server recommended the hand pull noodles over the knife cut or flat wide. I don't know the difference between any of these cuts but our noodles were amazingly fresh and delectable. The broth in this dish is deeply rich and flavorful. The wontons were the best , the fried rice was the second best and the noods were got were good too. #16 with no peanuts. Food came out quickly which was great since it was our first meal of the day and we were hungry. We got sat right away. The inside is small and nice so imagine how hectic it can be on busy days. We got there around 1pm on a Wednesday. Would come back again to try other noods and will bring more people with us to experience. Ok! I'm a fan of Magic Noodle and here's why.. Their flavors are bold and noodles on point. Love a knife cut noodle - thick with a slight "al dente" chew. As for the flavors, they are pretty unapologetic about it & relatively don't water them down. I seem to rotate between their Dan Dan Noodle, Sichuan Sweet Noodle, and Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle. Service is prompt and no-nonsense. I'm not one to complain. I get what I need and I'm a happy girl. Depending on the time of day you visit, it gets packed with a little pep in the staffs busy step. We got sat about 5 minutes later and placed our orders and we were shocked the food came out pretty fast-- faster than usual, but we just assumed it was because we were the first ones in and to place our orders . Here's my food review: SPICY DUMPLINGS: I LOVE these dumplings the other times I've ordered, but these were EXTRA salty on this day . SPICY SZECHUAN BRISKET NOODLES: This was probably the best tasting soup dish that was ordered by 4 of us . Good flavor, nice spice, and perfect balance of savory . FISH SOUP NOODLES: My parents are pescatarians and were so excited to eat this, but after a few bites they stopped eating and i asked why... they said it was way too salty . I can't complain about any of the items I ordered. The noodles and dumplings were packed with flavor and spices! They give you tons of meat in the noddles that you don't feel ripped off. It's a good noddle to meat ratio. The dumplings are also packed as much as they can with meat. If you're looking for somewhere that is light but full of flavor then this is the place to go. Their prices are also priced very well, all this was around $52. Small hole in the wall restaurant in a shopping plaza in Vegas. We were craving some noodles and actually drove 15 miles away from our hotel on the strip to this place. Their noodles are hand pulled and you actually see them pulling it in their open kitchen. The menu is small, you can pick appetizers, and their entree choices are either a noodle dish or a noodle soup dish, and choose the different type of noodle you want in the soup. The staff was super friendly, and when we told them that someone in our party had a nut allergy, they recommended the chicken mushroom noodle soup, because that's the safest choice. We also ordered beef noodle soup, pork wontons, and definitely get the beef burrito. Everything was delicious and it was definitely worth the drive! We shall be back again! read more
