Delicious whole belly fried clams. As far as I know the only place that you can get them around here and they were really good.

If you're a coffee enthusiast, there's coffee of all sorts for now or later, hot or cold and the aroma is throughout the establishment, smelled amazing upon walking in. Staff was friendly. But the avocado toast was on ciabatta bread (no one asked what kind of bread we wanted) and it was such a slim layer of avocado. Very disappointed. What I don't know is whether they have changed their toast for all locations and reduced the amount of avocado or was this a fluke or only typical of the Bluffton location. We will go back to the port royal location sometime this week because now I need to know! Oh and we tried the roasted potatoes which I have never tried before. The flavors/herbs were good but the potatoes were not cooked fresh so they were soft/chewy.

We were informed there's no pancakes and no waffles. Strike 1. We ordered the crab cake bene, the original shrimp and grits and the French toast with scramble. The French toast was fine. Nothing special. The scramble however was a complete joke. They clearly have a vat of their "side eggs" just ready for the scoopin. They were cold and oh so dry. My sister's crab cake entree was absolutely disgusting. The crab cake was orange on the inside, it was mushy and no discernible taste of crab whatsoever. It looked like a dark brown salmon patty my mama would make with a Double Q. The shrimp and grits. Wow and not in a good way. 50 percent of the bowl was onions. Both raw (and almost raw) onions and green onions. There were FOUR shrimp that were absolutely TINY (about the size of a Wild West shrimp from Longhorn) and they had the poop STILL IN THEM. Did I mention that this cost us ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!?!?!? I want to stress again.... Our server was great. I always feel guilty writing bad reviews but I just had to be honest. Yelp ya steered us the wrong way on this one.

It was pretty busy with people grabbing ice cream, snacks, and souvenirs, which gave it such a fun vacation vibe. They have a self-serve soft serve ice cream station along with a huge candy section where you can fill a bag with however much you want. Honestly, they seem to have just about anything you could need during your trip. My husband ended up buying a Hilton Head T-shirt, and I found the cutest oyster shell ornament for our Christmas tree. While checking out, I looked over by the ice cream section and spotted the viral chicken wing ice cream that's apparently made in Charleston, South Carolina. I got way too excited because I've seen it all over social media but had never found it in person before, so of course I had to buy it. Thankfully, it did not disappoint. They also have a front patio area where you can sit and enjoy your snacks, plus extra racks of clothing outside if you're souvenir shopping. Overall, this place has a little bit of everything and is definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

We rode our bikes here on such a beautiful day, and they do have convenient bike parking available. You have the option of sitting inside or outside, but we decided to grab seats at the bar. We were greeted right away, and the entire place was clean, nicely decorated, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and friendly. I kept it simple with two scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and a biscuit, while my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. Everything was delicious, but the hashbrowns completely stole the show. I would love to know how they season them because they honestly may have been the best hashbrowns I've ever had.
