Majestic Diner is the classic diner experience. Don't come here expecting spectacular cuisine or trendy decorations. The inside is like stepping back in time 50+ years, and the service is super friendly too!! The food is exactly what you'd expect - average diner food. But if you come in with that expectation, you'll appreciate Majestic Diner for what it is!!! The servers are super friendly too. They validate parking for the lot across the street as well.

The majestic diner is exactly what a diner should be. No frills and decent food and service. I had the classic breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it - don't come here expecting a gourmet meal because that's not what this place is it's literally the best example of a diner. Service was good and staff was friendly and the ambience matches that of any diner I've ever been to. If you want a quick greasy breakfast, this is the place to come. I'll definitely come back

I believe Atlanta, should be know for breakfast if they had to be know for something. "The Majestic Diner" would be one on the list. We got there early, so we had seating anywhere. We got comfortable and a southern bell, Olive, took our order. Waiting for the food and looking around you feel a sense of history here. Not much has changed. It was very rewarding to feel Atlanta. They also had Smucker's Apple Butter spread. I never heard of it, but I tried it and it tastes like apple cider. When the food came out they gave you a okay amount. The things that took top billing were the sausage and pancakes. The pancakes had an incredible flavor to them. Those were worth the trip. Everything else was not what I'm used to, but was still good. The orange juice was had made and served cold. That was a welcome treat. I would definitely come again. But maybe just get pancakes and sausage.

Classic old diner. Most of the food was good. Honestly, nothing extraordinary here. Cool retro vibe. Good service and excellent staff.

Grilled pork chop...so flavorful and tender!

Come for the pancakes, stay for the pork chop! I was craving pancakes, not a usual craving so it needed to be GOOD! The Majestic Diner did not disappoint. Old school griddle flavor, perfectly fluffy and not dense(served with warm syrup). About those pork chops, i order grilled, and they are so flavor and tender. Hubs order a fried pork chop and it's not your traditional fried, but panko crumb fried. Love the texture, but could use some seasoning. The Denver omelette is very packed with vegetables, so will be mindful to request easy onions/bell peppers next time. The service is stellar, every visit!

I love this place. Great food. Great service. The same waitstaff for years and years which means they are treated well. Amazing gyros with real tzaziki sauce... the way they are suppose to taste. But it's Greek owned so that makes sense. THE GOOD: Free parking on app, great food, and cool atmosphere. Great burgers, great omelets, hashbrowns, fries. Yum. They shoot a lot of scenes for movies here I've noticed. The wait staff is all over it. The amount of food you get is a great value too. Coffee served in thick coffee cups. Great view of Ponce from every window. THE BAD: It's not opened at night any more since the pandemic.

I've been doing breakfast so this was the first time I've been there for karaoke and that was pretty cool, though I wish they made it more obvious how to participate because that could have been fun and it wasn't busy that night. I really enjoy that there's a wide variety so even though I was craving Mexican and my friend wanted Americana, we both had something we liked. The food was...not bad. I've had good meals and bad meals here. The guacamole isn't guacamole. It's just mashed up avocado, so be prepared for that. A little salt and the hot sauce the nachos came with and it was a bit better. I also liked that they brought all the toppings so you could assemble the nachos the way you want. I will say, the drinks here are amazing. I loved the peach bellini we had at breakfast and I had a Georgia Peach cocktail at dinner on my most recent visit and I'm dying to try to make it at home. My one real complaint was our server was very sweet but not exactly attentive. We could actually see her from our table and she was sitting and chatting up one of the other employees. I support your flirting with coworkers but maybe we could get our check first? Thanks! Will obviously be back again, I just might not do the nachos again. If I want guacamole, there's at least 3 Tex Mex places within walking distance.

I finally pulled up on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, and honestly, the sheer scale of this place is hilarious. The parking lot alone is a whole ecosystem, and the inside looks like it can comfortably seat half of Metro Atlanta with room to spare. I came with a serious appetite, so I went straight for the classic heavyweight: the Roast Turkey Entrée (all white meat). Now, when the server started listing out everything that came with it, I thought there was a glitch in the simulation. For starters, you get a soup and a salad. I went with the chicken noodle and a Caesar salad. The chicken noodle hit the spot--properly seasoned, warm, and comforting. The Caesar was solid too, crisp and fresh. But then the main plate arrived, and I'm pretty sure they harvested an entire farm for this one meal. Generous portion of white meat turkey, a mountain of mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a side of broccoli (gotta respect the greens). Every single item on that main plate was absolute perfection. Tender, savory, and cooked with actual respect for flavor profiles. My only real critique? The bread basket. Look, I don't know what happened there, but that roll was completely devoid of personality. Tasted like straight oxygen and flour. Unseasoned bread in 2026 is an absolute tragedy, but thankfully, the whipped butter spread saved the day and gave it a purpose in life. Between the massive portions and the endless menu options, this place is an absolute unit. You're definitely leaving with a take-home box the size of a carry-on suitcase and a strong urge to take a three-hour nap. Great energy, fast service, and legendary portions. Just bypass the plain bread and dive straight into the turkey.

I sat at the counter cuz I was flying solo and had nice conversations with those next to me. The way the entire building is decorated is completely eye candy and as satisfying as the food. If you like crazy loopy, different kind of stuff. There's a specific coffee shop and small gift shop in the back with social & environmental conscious products. Even have a film development drop off that I guess locals take advantage of cuz where do you go for that anymore other than some kind of chain pharmacy?. I took pictures for my posting but also for myself to consider coming back and shopping another time. Several of the magnets and signs I would love to own. The food is plentiful and flavorful. I had the daily special of Georgia fresh shrimp sauteed on top of homemade sourdough that had a little bit of a French toast crispy to it, topped with roasted tomatoes and spinach and thin crispy onions that were well seasoned. Most the time for lunch you just hope for something that taste good and this was beyond my wildest dreams of what I was going to eat for lunch today. And it was only $10. The burgers, the fried chicken, the fried shrimp, everything was looking so yummy. I totally have to come back. The place is much bigger than it looks from the front because it extends around the corner behind the counter and they greet you when you come in.

I don't think we knew what we were getting ourselves into, but I'm glad we made the decision to come here. Homegrown provides great food and coffee with indoor and outdoor seating great art and a "cozy" (read: crowded) feel. Food: 5/5 The food here was amazing. I just got the standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice but those around me had other meals like scrambles and omelettes that smelled amazing. I'm also a big fan of grits was able to taste some from my friend's plate. Service: 4/5 In terms of the food service, our server was extremely nice, but a couple of people in my party had things wrong with their order. We did have a large group though, so I won't put too much stock into that. Ambience: 4/5 When I say this place is crowded, I mean this place is crowded. I won't hold that against them, it's really a testament to how popular their restaurant is with that said, I really do wish they had more seating available. We went during the tail end of the summer, so it was extremely hot outside and eating breakfast out. The wait for a table was well over 30 minutes, so there was no way we were going to also eat our food outside. It was just not feasible without heat stroke. For context we live in the Pacific Northwest. What made up for this was the coffee shop that was connected to the building in the back that served amazing iced coffee to cool us down. Conclusion All in all, I give this place a solid, 4 out of 5 would recommend. Just be prepared to wait if you have more than three people in your party, and try to come early :-)

Ironically, I'm working on a movie production which allowed me a gap in my schedule to stop in for a quick breakfast. I say ironically because I was not aware TSS had become such an iconic set for some well known movies and series over the years. [Yes! I live in a box!] I imagine TSS was the "go to" place for locals in years past. It imagine it still is for some because it is somewhat convenient, has decent parking, and fairly easy to get in and out. In midtown ATL, this is huge!! I sat at the counter and my order was taken immediately. My water and cup of coffee was placed in front of me immediately. The nostalgia was undeniable and I observed the front wait staff seemed happy (inconceivable!). I found myself grinning to myself at their small talk and humor. I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit (served open faced) with a side of hashbrowns. My food was served hot straight from the grill. My only regret was not ordering toast because the biscuit, to my disappointment, was not homemade. I compare it to the Mary B's Frozen Biscuits I use to buy when I wanted a biscuit but didn't have time to pull out my wooden bowl or had no buttermilk in the fridge. Two clean, single occupancy bathrooms for paying customers are assessable from the outside and entering through the door to the kitchen. That was interesting.. I imagine the building has not changed much over the years. Overall, I enjoyed my visit, (check it off the Bucket List ) but the ($16 + $4 tip) for my breakfast might make me consider The Waffle House before returning for a second visit unless eating for lunch or the Homemade Lemon Ice-Box Pie voted one of the "5 Best Pies in the USA". I do love PIE!

I did not notice any specific handicapped spot but was able to park right next to the entrance. Be aware there is a bike lane between the street and the parking spots. Be courteous and aware as exiting your vehicle. We were greeted as we walked in. I think there is a QR code to be put on the waitlist to the right, but we were seated right away. Seating is mostly booths with some stools at the counter. There are a couple small tables at the front of the building looking out to the street. I think there is also seating on the other side of the main seating area. Our server brought us physical menus, but you can also scan a QR code to bring the menu up on your phone. She took our drink orders and returned with them quickly. She also pointed out the daily specials on the chalkboard behind us when she brought the menus, which was a nice touch. We placed our order and waited no more than 15 minutes for the food to be brought to the booth. The chorizo scramble special was outstanding. The chorizo was very flavorful, the other ingredients fresh and crisp, and there was enough cheese to add flavor without making the scramble heavy. The accompanying fried potatoes were cooked perfectly and the multigrain biscuit was exceptional. There were small containers of apple butter on the table that made the biscuit into a memorable experience. The pancake special comes with two eggs, bacon, and grits. The plate-sized pancakes are fluffy and seem to have a malt flavor, the eggs were cooked as ordered, and even the toast was notable. The grits were creamy without turning to jello as they cooled. The build your own plate of French toast, pancake, and bacon was also excellent. The French toast slice was thick and large. Added to the large pancake, this was a filling meal. The bacon is good and was cooked as ordered. They must have a code system, as the server who took the order was not the one who brought the food to our table. Without needing to ask, each plate was placed in front of the person who placed the order. No confusion, just a well-run service that adds to the overall experience. While the ambient noise can get a little high, it is all conversation and laughter. This is a lively diner with outstanding friendly service and amazingly good food. Two thumbs up for Thumbs Up!
