I used to love this place years ago, but it has gone downhill. The food is nothing like it used to be. The chicken fingers were thin, overcooked, and didn't even resemble real chicken. The matzo ball and chicken noodle soup tasted overly lemony and unpleasant. The Greek salad was okay, though it seems they now use sliced olives instead of whole ones. It was Christmas day and, on this day, finding a place to eat isnt so easy. I only lived across the street from the landmark and never had the best food from there. It was never bad just meh. I had no other option and the porterhouse steak I had from earlier didnt satisfy me for the whole day like I hoped and it was a big one too. I was quite surprised when I walked in to find it was busy for Christmas day (or evening to be precise). I sat down at the bar and placed a to-go order for a cheeseburger. Ive had them before, nothing to write home about but whatever I thought, just keep it simple. I got home and open the box I noticed they kept the lettuce and tomato separate. When I attempted to open up the burger, it was glued shut with cheese on both sides of the patty, a plus given your normal lone slice of cheese that gets lost in the beef, sauce and fixings. I then saw grill marks on the bottom bun and realized they used an actual grill, not the typical skillet you would see in your ordinary diner which is another plus. My first few bites surprised me, its not just some run-of-the-mill burger, there was char flavor and far from bland. The burger was cooked just right, medium to medium rare which is my prefer temperature. The crinkle fries were crispy, fresh and not pan-fried like I had the last couple of times elsewhere. Overall, I was surprised, i dont recall their burgers being this good. Its nothing to write home about, just about anywhere you can get a decent cheeseburger but this was not how I remembered my last couple of times going to landmark. read more

Ok, the place is called the Landark and I am to assume it has seen better days, don't let the building fool you. The food was delicious and that's all that matters to me. I ordered a simple breakfast to go, because I didn't have time to sit in and eat but I would have. 30 minutes later my food was still hot. I ordered because I saw someone eating toast, eggs, bacon and when I tell you the fluffiest eggs, and the bacon tasty and crispy just like I like it. Oh, and they had real home potatoes, not just some tater tots out of a bag. Real, where I am from, smothered potatoes with peppers and onions. I will be back to attend the Punchline Comedy club soon so I'll get to see what dinner is about but as for the breakfast it tasted like a real homemade breakfast . We were drunk. We were hungry. We were desperate. Landmark was on the way home from a drunken evening and for some reason 2.5 stars on Yelp but open late seemed like a fun idea. Wrong. I can admit that we were wrong. We walked in and immediately regretted. It was super busy at 1am. But even then, we still had a seat and ordered (although service was super slow). The menu was very Cheesecake Factory-esque. There were so many options and to tipsy Tiff, everything sounded so good. I ended up ordering the Chicken Parmesan, which came out to $26 pre tax. I'll let the photo speak for itself but the chicken Parmesan was sub bar. Probably won't be ordering that again. That is, if I even come back again. This is a 4:20 am review. Haha. For late night/early morning eats I recommend. Service is excellent. Security is present and cordial. Nice lighting. People watching is PRIME. The food? It's 3 am diner food. We had spaghetti and meatballs which were fine and the gyro which was also fine. Carrot cake was tasty albeit incredibly sweet. I will probably come back here and keep trying other items but over the years it has remained consistent for what it is. I've lived in Atlanta for about 4 years and have seen this restaurant numerous times but I've never dropped in. But after having a long night I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. It wasn't that busy, it was around 10:30 am. Our server was super sweet. Like I wish I could take her with me everywhere. She lights up a room when she walk in. beautiful smile. And amazing personality. She got our food out to us promptly. She gave a lot of good suggestions. They have so many menu options it actually make it hard to decide what it is that you would want. But on the specials menu I seen that had Lobster and Shrimp Fra Diavolo. When the dish came out I didn't know what to expect. But the dish was mind blowing. Filled with jumbo succulent shrimp and 3 whole lobster tails. I could not believe it. I didn't love that they didn't have house made noodles. But the dish was still great. The perfect amount of spice. The seafood was seasoned to perfection. I also noticed that next door they host a lot of comedy shows so I think I'll be back for dinner and a show. read more

Disappointed at The Punchline - Dessert Disaster! Went to The Punchline on Saturday night for the 8PM show and decided to treat myself to some dessert--ordered a slice of coconut cake and Oreo cheesecake around 7:50PM. Shockingly, the order didn't arrive until 9:10PM (yes, over an hour later), and when it finally did, both slices were rock solid--frozen hard as the table. I took them home, hoping they might be edible once thawed. Spoiler: they weren't. They were so bad, I tossed them out. Honestly, how do you ruin cheesecake? Next time, I will skip dessert here and head to a real restaurant for something actually edible. The waitress explained that the photos on the menu were for illustration purposes only and you had to read the descriptions to know what was actually in those dishes. Went to Landmark for the first time after a concert! I've always driven past and love the old-school charm but had never been before. There's plenty of parking outside and lots of room inside and as we were coming pretty late, there was no wait. There's a LOT of menu items on the menu and while it felt on the pricier side for a diner, I was glad to have a lot of options and order quickly. I had a Mushroom and Cheese omelet with a side of grits (our waiter accidentally gave me homefries too but didn't charge which was nice!). The grits were super buttery and creamy and really made my meal. Our service overall was good, though after we got our food we waited a really long time for our check but our party was having a good time so it was fine. I don't get the Landmark Diner hate! There is free parking but I didn't see too many spots. There was only one server for a Wednesday night, but he was so attentive. We were sat very quickly and he took all of our orders and kept our drinks full without any prompting. The inside is a little dark and not as updated as other diners, but there were Christmas decorations up. I ordered a bacon burger and added cheese and my boyfriend ordered the sausage and cheese omelette. We split the french toast. I thought the burger was honestly so good and so thick. Fries were crispy and plentiful. My boyfriend enjoyed his omelette. The french toast was thick and syrup was served warm. I wasn't too keen on the edges of the french toast bread and I usually have no issues. The edges were exceptionally dry imo. Will note the bacon burger on the menu was labelled as $16.99. I was charged $17.99 (before the up charge on cheese). Food prices have risen, but there was no mention by the server or messaging inside the restaurant or on the menu to expect prices to be higher than on the menu. Wasn't too fond of this, but it's only $1. Service here was amazing and you could tell the owners were all there in the restaurant even at late hours of the night. If we need a late bite to eat and we're in the area, we'll be back! read more

I love that this place is 24 hours. I also love that this place has everything under the sun, including Greek food and pastries. I didn't try their actual food, but their baked goods are DIVINE. You don't need to take a bit to see how moist all their giant slices of cake are; you just have to feast with your eyes as the waiters walk past, or look at the goods in the counter display. Their brownies are fudgy and decadent, and their Greek butter cookies are light yet rich and satisfying. The concerns I have with this place are few and are really just about the prices (a bit steep) and the fact that this is shared with a small venue. You'll get crowds of people waiting to go into the venue, while the waiters here aren't sure what to do with them. Then you'll get a rush as people from the venue come out and they'll use the restroom in the restaurant, causing lots of foot traffic and making the ambiance a bit hectic. Not the end of the world, but it does make the experience less comfortable. Overall, my partner and I really like this place and we'll definitely be back for a full meal and loads more of their desserts. read more

This diner is connected to the comedy club, so if you get tickets to the comedy club you can order directly from the Diner menu. We order matzo ball soup which was way too salty and a burger which was fine. The sweet potato fries were so much better than the soup that we even got a second order. The waitress was friendly but was very busy getting everyone's order before the show began. The area is large with the stage in the middle for the comedians. I haven't been to the landmark in years, but we went back last night after a concert so there was nothing else open. Wow! Does not disappoint for a late dinner. We show up around midnight and it's busy but we get seated immediately. Wait staff gave us time to look at menu and came back and ordered our food. To be honest, after that the wait staff became a little MIA but we were having a good time and got our food in a decent time for that hour. Made sure we had plenty of drinks so that was good! I ordered an omelet and it was so freaking good! Besides the wait stuff, honestly no complaints coming from me. It's nice to have a place that's open late with good food and a good atmosphere. Totally would go here again for a late night snack! For the menu, definitely check out the breakfast and the sandwiches! They have some quesadillas that are technically appetizers but could totally be a meal too! Side note, one person at our table got the Cuban panini and the bread was a flatbread. Right up the street Goldberg's bagels offers the same for $10 - except it's actually really good with a choice of freshly made bagels. In fact, every breakfast or lunch entree was $16-18.
