    Halo Halo

Ordered to go, would definitely order again. The restaurant was clean and looked like most other cafeteria-style restaurants I grew up frequenting. The Sisig was so so yummy. The halo-halo is good for 2! It was refreshing for such a warm day! Also ordered the bbq chicken combos for my husband & daughter, they really enjoyed it.

We were looking for a lunch spot in Salem and this place looked good. They were busy when we stopped in, but they let us know they were a little behind and it might be a longer wait. I really appreciated how up front they were. We weren't in a rush so we had no problem waiting and it wasn't long considering they were making everything fresh. My daughter's pork adobo was fork tender. I was able to steal one bite before she devoured it. My husband also really enjoyed his chicken adobo. I went with the weekend special and was very happy I did. The bbq skewers were perfection. They were perfectly cooked and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and had a lovely bbq flavor. I also loved that each meal came with lumpia! Everyone wants lumpia. This is a family business and I so appreciated how they came and checked in with each table. This is a great option if you are hungry and looking for a filling meal made with love!

Great Service! 1 serving is good for 2 people. The food delicious made to order. The Flan 10/10.

Food was great; they were out of weekend special and while we had planned on eating in, staff informed us that by the time food came out we would only have few minutes to eat as they'd be closing at 7 sharp. We arrived 10-15 past 6 pm. Vegetables were fresh, crispy, and peanut sauce was yummy!

We drove from Sacramento to Portland for mother days we wanted some real food looked this place up had to try it, when you first walk in the ambiance is welcoming and enough spacing, the service was one of a kind, they bring your food to your table, and then actually ask how the food is!!!! Love it they really care about their quality and service will definitely be back before going back to California

One of the best places I've been to! The staff was really friendly and answered any questions I had. Went here back in march to celebrate my birthday. I had the flan , and a lumpia combo. This place is a wonderful induction to filipino food and I need to come back when they have halo halo! The place is super clean and nice seating. Thanks so much for the owner to meeting me. I will have to come back soon.

Ahhhhh. What a nice surprise. The food is made when ordered so it's fresh, hot, and delicious The owners are super friendly and spoke to me in Tagalog the entire time. (Swoon) I love the serving size and everything about it reminds me of my mom's and grandma's cooking. My colleague and I (both Filipinos) were real pleased with this place. The place is clean, lots of space, and has a great menu. Makes me want to go back to Salem just for this restaurant.

Pancit Combo - half plate pancit served with four ground pork lumpia and sweet chili dipping sauce

The Manila Fiesta is the BEST Filipino restaurant I have ever eaten at. Between the pancit, ground pork lumpia, banana lumpia, and bistek, I struggle to find a favorite - everything I ordered was so delicious! We went to the restaurant mid-day and several things were already sold out - it seems that lots of people are discovering the great food that this restaurant has to offer! Placing an order before 1 PM will probably give you the best chance of getting your hands on some halo-halo and banana lumpia (we got the last ones). Portions are very generous and served in sturdy take-out containers. Service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. The staff are committed to providing excellent service. I'm so happy to have discovered The Manila Fiesta - I highly recommend eating here!

Rt there by the gas station is a Filipino restaurant that has the best adobo. Judge the pancit and lumpia by your taste... get the adobo!

y'all. chef erwina absolutely outdid herself catering my birthday gathering the spread was unreal:…read more *pancit that disappeared immediately, *afritada rich and comforting in that "someone loves you" way, *pinakbet perfectly balanced (even the skeptics were converted), *fluffy rice doing its essential, noble work, and lumpia that should honestly come with a warning because they were gone in minutes. every dish felt intentional, generous, and full of heart. this was not just catering, this was care, culture, and flavor showing up loud. still thinking about it. still dreaming about it.

Not sure if we came at a bad day, but the ambience and food this time didn't match all the praise…read moreand callouts from my research (making it seem like we had inadvertently come to the wrong location). There were some good food choices, but some bad ones too (including some listed on their on-line menu that wasn't available), and the service was the opposite of friendly. Fork and Spoon was listed as one of the best Filipino restaurants in the Portland area. I wanted to go some place where the food was made-to-order. After looking at their really colorful and put together website, saw that they had dishes like Humba and Champurrado, along with what looked like Chicken Inasal. We found free street parking right in front. I noticed the sign that stated no public bathroom was available. The inside was very quiet, with one couple quieting eating their food, and an older non-customer gentleman minding his own business. We were taken to a table near a window, and given a menu. It's a very simple one, and none of the dishes I was looking for were listed. I asked the hostess/server about it, and she just shrugged and basically told me she had no idea. Yeah... So I reset, and ordered the things that we always order at a Filipino restaurant. COMBO Meal ($23) - Consisting of Pork Adobo, Rice, Bihon style pancit, and shangahi lumpia. The steamed rice was excellent...sounds goofy to say, but have had so much bad white rice at restaurants lately. The pork adobo was good, using very fatty pieces of pork, but cooked to be very tender without being mushy, and the strong sauce was great over the rice. I liked the pancit, with the large vegetable pieces and it worked since it had been made-to-order. But the lumpia was bad: it had been deep fried from frozen, and the center was still cold. Plus, the meat had been ground too finely, causing the filling to be mealy. Pork BBQ Skewer ($17) - three skewers of pork barbeque. It was thinly sliced and expertly skewered, but that's where the goodness ended. The sauce wasn't good, just a very weak teriyaki type sauce. The meat had quite a bit of gristle (which is OK with me if it has flavor, but this did not). It had been cooked on a flattop grill so missed the charring of the meat over fire. It just tasted old, like it had been reheated Have no idea why this is $17...the price fooled me into thinking this would be a 'deluxe' version of this classic...should be closer to $7.50, especially since it was served as an app (no rice or sides). Halo-Halo ($9) - a shareable ice cream dish, topped with a scoop of really good ube ice cream and a shower of fruity pebbles. It came with a piece of leche flan and various sweet beans and jelly at the bottom. I really liked this. My only wish was that it was made with shaved ice instead of crushed ice, but I understand it can be too time consuming. It just felt like we came to a place on a day (or time) when everyone was just trying to get through the day. The prices were good (except for the BBQ), and the portions decent. But along with unfriendly service and the hit/miss taste, it's a place I wouldn't go out of my way for (even though I love the name and their website).
