The Saigon burger with an upgrade to the Tokyo salad on the side.
    Melissa M.

I was visiting a friend. She wanted to take me to a local food hall for lunch. Unfortunately, they were closed. So we wound up at The Map Room. We got in just before the crowd. Thankfully, we were tucked into a corner booth and got our orders in before it got busy. I appreciate that they have a wide array of N/A drink options. I chose to have the Saigon burger and upgraded to the Tokyo salad as my side. The burger itself was solid. I was pleased that I could taste everything, given how many toppings it had. And the salad was a great complement.

This place was so unique and the menu was unreal. They specialize in burgers and loaded fries. I really can't describe my burger because it was so unique and flavorful. The service was really good and so helpful!

Cozy space with amazing pub food and fries galore!!! FRIES They have large selection of loaded fries. You can order large plate as appetizer or you can upgrade your sandwich fries to the loaded fries (limited to about half of the loaded fry options). I upgrade mine to the MONTREAL FRIES. If you haven't visited Montreal, these are called "Poutine" there. They are topped with white cheese curds and a gravy. Here, you get the gravy of the day which was a beef gravy for me. SANDWICH The BUSAN was an amazing Korean treat that I don't find many places. It is made with pulled pork, kimchi, cucumbers, lettuce, green onions, bulgogi aioli. THE SPACE Very cozy, with not many tables. Try to beat the rush if you want a table. They haveanybseats at the bar which is where I sat since I was a party of one.

Banana nut old fashioned - LEGIT banana flavor not fake- absolutely incredible

Make sure to check it out! This place is a little gem to get a great burger. Our server was kind, knowledgeable and helpful in picking from a tempting menu. We liked the little small town vibe tucked into the city of Cedar Rapids. Food was solid. The banana nut old fashioned blew us away though!

The hamburger was ok. The salad and homemade salad dressing was wonderful. The service was quick as was the food. Signature hamburgers. Friendly people.

I really liked the banana flavored old fashioned. I am not sure what the name of it was (I forgot) but it was absolutely delicious. Sweet but not too sweet, it is hard to taste the whiskey and almost tasted like a banana milkshake but I am not complaining. I would have 5 more of those. My burger was delicious. I added raw onions and jalapeños on my burger which really enhanced the Delhi burger.

Delicious food. Great service. Really great beer. We really enjoyed the flight of dips for the French fries as well as the mezzah platter.

I love that they constantly rotate their pizza of the week. Even when I'm hesitant because it's something I've never tried before, I find myself excited and eager to go for it--because everything here is consistently a 10. After experiences like this, it's hard not to trust every specialty pizza they put out. Our server, Lexi, was absolutely on point--friendly, so personable . They also let you sample any beer you're curious about, which I really appreciate. I tried the Cotton Candy beer, and it was over-the-moon good. I'm not a big beer drinker at all, and I honestly couldn't believe it was beer. I also got to sample the drinks my party ordered--wow. Every visit, there are new beers on tap. You might miss one and wish it was still around, but the ever-rotating selection is just another reason this place is such a delight. As for the food, I took a leap of faith with the Sriracha BLT pizza. I was very hesitant, but I threw caution to the wind--and I'm so glad I did. It was absolutely fabulous. Need Pizza continues to impress on every level, and I can't wait to come back again.

Our service was great and the bar in general is a cool vibe. Everyone like their burgers, they were the smash burger patties, super thin and some crispy edges. The patio is nice, great tables and the servers paid close attention to what we may want/need in the food realm. My friend got a Greek salad and really enjoyed it. I got a burger with BBQ sauce that was messy as all get out and so worth it. Got the dipping fries and willing to say I was really surprised with how tasty they were. They are unique too so maybe made in house. The jerks with two dogs, one was really aggressive trying to attack someone else's dog that was totally chill. That definitely means a deduction even though there were rules posted, it didn't seem the staff was going to bother and I get that it is pretty awkward. Seems like the staff would have to hear the ruckus cause the dogs were by the entrance to the place. The other folks took their dog back to the car. It was the sort of outward aggression that would make me wary if they are regulars. We had already ordered and gotten our food so we simply kept a watchful eye out.
