I recently ate at the Melt! Service was fast and the ambiance was great to just sit back, relax, and enjoy good food! Parking might look like it's an issue, but it isn't. I parked in the garage next to Target (free parking) and it had hundreds of free open spots. The Melt is just around the corner and an easy walk. I got the normal fries to go with my sandwich and would recommend the black cherry soda! Overall, it's a great place to chill and eat quality food or bring a date for a nice casual conversation. You can't go wrong with the burgers at the Melt. They are really good and flavorful. I have yet to try the chicken sandwiches or the other sandwiches so I can't speak on those. The only issue I had with this place is nobody cleans the tables. As people left, the tables went unclean and it was apparent with the food sitting on top of the tables. You may want to bring your own wipes to clean the tables. I can only imagine all the germs accumulating on the tables. read more

I went with my husband on 8/31. We both had hamburgers, shared fries and a chocolate shake. The food was good, hot, and the shake was very good - thick with lots of ice cream. The young man at the register was very friendly. However, by late evening I didn't feel well and about two in the morning I was extremely nauseous and retching. So L and I both like burgers, but we have found that outside of Habit (which maybe because we can walk to it) the other "upscale counter" burger spots just haven't been very good. Think iniburger or burgerlounge, even smashburger doesn't always hit the mark - we can walk there too even. So I got invited to try as a yelp elite (if you are reading this- review all you best experiences and not only the worst. Yelp elite has some serious benefits) and after a couple days L and I headed over to try. There was a seroius discount so we went wild and got too much food. L ordered the BBQ Bacon melt burger and absolutely housed it. The bacon slid off it was so melty and he really liked the cheese. Little bits kept falling out, and it was potato chiplets and onion strings that gave it a nice crunchy bite. He went so quick that I have no idea how it was, but he did say he wants to go back. The garlic fries were a little too heavy on garlic, brushing my teeth twice still had garlic breath and burps all night. No regrets, but won't get again - super duper still has the garlic fry game beat. The mac and cheese was the suprise hit. Didn't look at the menu ahead and tried this as a bonus. Creamy and rich with perfect noodles and bread crumbs. We even got a second to take home and eat later (it was already near 11pm, they're open till midnight) But the best (?) part was the soda selection, L always grabs a fountain and will nurse a single drink, he has been taking the gym seriously, but there was a black cherry soda he loved. He wants to go back for burgers for sure, but is on a mission to find something closer with the same sodas. All of this to say - in a world of burger choices, this is NOT the cheapest, not the most expensive, but if we are nearby, it will be on heavy rotation. read more

My family & I recently went to the Melt last weekend with high expectations due to one of my coworkers raving about it. We ordered 2 burgers, cheddar bacon ranch fries & sweet potato fries but were very disappointed. To begin, we were not greeted when walking in by any of the employees, nor did we get any help. As for the food, the cheddar bacon ranch fries were very soggy because they do not measure the ranch to fry ratio & just decided to drench the entire box of fries wirh ranch. If I wanted ranch with a side of fries, i would have asked for it. The sweet potato fries weren't even edible because it was still frozen and way undercooekd. Being able to see the kitchen also, i noticed they don't clean their hands or change gloves in between cleaning and handling food. This is a big concern because my kids have many allergies and that is cross contamination. I tried to address this to the manager, i believe her name was Regina, latina with glasses & she completely disregarded the situation. She was already very unwelcoming from the beginning, just staring at you when you walk in, i was actually surprised she was the manager. She was rolling her eyes as if she did not want to be there. Be alarmed if you come to this resturant with allergies because Regina trains staff not to care about your medical food allergies. She started arguing with us and started to become very aggressive. I can't believe any establishment would let her manage a resturant. The melt should get more friendly individuals working at their establishment, with a manager who trains their staff properly. I strolled in here on a Sunday afternoon at 1PM. There was quite a bit of people but was greeted right away from the person at the register and who quickly explained their menu. I got the bacon burger and my wife got the mushroom burger. We also got fries, garlic mac and cheese along with a fountain drink. The food came out within 10 minutes and everything was made to order. Based on the menu, we've tried the Original Melt Burger, BBQ Burger, Classic Chicken Sandwich, Mac Daddy, and Egg-In-A-Hole (under Classics) with Tomato Soup for dipping, as well as their Cookie & Cream Milkshake. Everything was amazing, and I became a true glutton with no regrets. The pricing is decent; it's not cheap but doesn't cost an arm and a leg either. We usually dine in and typically find seating right away with easy parking. I also like that each location generally offers indoor and outdoor tables so it's a nice option to have. The staff was great--they gave us water cups and helped us bring our food outside without asking, which I always appreciate.
