Flaming Turtle**

I stopped by The Melting Pot for the first time and tried their special "Down to Fondue" happy hour, which offers 50% off cheese and chocolate fondue in the bar area! Our server, Emily M., was fantastic and provided excellent recommendations. We started with the Fiesta Cheese Fondue, which was absolutely awesome and packed with flavor. For dessert, we went with the Flaming Turtle chocolate fondue. It was decadent and delicious, though slightly on the sweeter side due to the sweet sides provided. We also ordered the house salad, which was fresh and simple. The ambiance is beautiful and upscale, making it a perfect spot for a romantic date night. Highly recommend!

GNO with the besties and a celebratory early birthday! All kinds of excellent service and great conversations! Delicious! The Classic in the coq Au vin style was great! We also ended with the Creme brûlée chocolate. Highly recommended!

Food was great and the server was also very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. Very romantic setting which I loved! We got a picture taken but never given to us. We asked before leaving and the manager was not coming out after 15 min of waiting we just left. Honestly willing to give it another shot maybe just differently this time

My friend and I had a lovely experience visiting Melting Pot last night in wanting to enjoy the national cheese week promo. Jade, our server, was lovely, friendly, informative, and attentive. Super appreciated her, and her manager Melissa was such a warm, cheerful, friendly face as she stopped by our table to check on our experience. All-over great experience by service, 5 stars for the people! Overall I'd give food 3-4 stars as the flavor profiles blended together and did not hold their taste as well as I hoped at first. We went with the Alpine cheese which was tasty but didn't love the consistency as much as we tried to adjust it to preference. Would probably try cheddar next time to compare. Went with the combo of teriyaki-glazed steak, peppered steak, and duck. The steak were flavored well but quickly seemed to dry up once in heat. The duck was flavored with something like a rosemary or thyme that I wasn't keen on. I find the price point too high for the culinary experience. That said, would go again on occasion for the overall memory and shared experience.

Melted cheese- win! Assortment of meats-win! Melted chocolate- triple win! In addition, service was excellent. Nahren was friendly, played along with our jokes, and was excellent with our kiddos. Highly recommend.

Wow this place is the best!!! We got the bigger deal for two. It was way more than we could eat. The salads are delicious and the desserts are really good too. The Wisconsin cheese fondue is the bomb and so is the hatch chile fondue. Our waitress was really sweet and the service was top notch. If I am ever on this side of town, I am definitely going yo come here again.

Came here for our 1 year anniversary and they went above and beyond. Special shout out to Hunter for his energetic and kind help. Will be back soon.

We came to The Melting Pot for our anniversary dinner. We were helped by our server Hunter who made our first experience great! He walked us through the menu and met us with speedy service. The ambiance was calming. The food was beyond wonderful and brought out so swiftly. Would recommend if you need a cute spot for any celebration.

Recently celebrated a birthday here and it was an awesome experience. we did the deal where it's two people for $120 or something like that I can't quite remember. Love how the food comes out in courses, but it is plenty of food. it took us about two hours to get through everything but the made for a really nice experience where you get to try and enjoy everything. We love the concept of cooking your own entrées. Interactive dining is always something unique and I really enjoyed this place. Awesome service too.

Ask the Community - The Melting Pot

Do they have a happy hour? If so, what are the hours?

The prices all look like "for two" is there no family options? Party of 5?

The menu looks confusing that way, but we go as a group of 3 and they just add a person. You also are looking at the Big Night Out option, but you can do all courses as add on or by individuals.

Is happy hour all day in the bar?

No. Its posted at the door

Our waitress was spectacular, and all other staff were willing to help out without hesitation! The ambiance was moderate to quiet where we were sat, but there was much louder more talkative areas in the restaurant too. A Ruined Birthday Experience. My Reservations were for 12…read moreJuly at 4pm and I arrived at the restaurant at about 3:50pm and entered. I checked in with the front-end person to inform them of my arrival and reservation. She found my name and informed me that the dining room was not yet open and that it would be open at 4pm. There were others waiting as well. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and upon my return there were others waiting too. A few minutes after 4pm they began calling names. All names were called by last name. Everyone was called and seated, including those that arrived after me. I was the last remaining person to be seated. They finally called me by my first name and took me over to be seated. They attempted to seat my right next to a large party. I requested that I be placed away stating that I did not want to be next to the group. She replied that they had no other servers and it may be a while. Within moments she sat me one table away. Why was I the last to be seated? The server finally came over and began his routine. I didn't like how he made sure to state over and over how the sides are not included and they all cost extra. I assure you that I can afford to eat at your establishment. He was very set on pushing the del monico steak. I had already stated that I wanted the Ribeye. I agreed to listen to the del monico explanation where he shared that the filet had no fat and the ribeye had lots of fat. The del monica was right in the middle. After the sales pitch, I was again set on the Ribeye. Not sure that he agreed with my choice, because he continued by stating that I must like my steak with lots of fat. The order was placed, not to his liking yet I was there for my enjoyment. Along with the steak I ordered a cup of clam chowder and side of asparagus. The clam chowder was not as flavorful as I had hoped for. The asparagus was under prepared. It was as if I was eating them raw, very crunchy. They did have nice flavor though. The server was informed that I was there for a Ribeye and a specialty drink. We had already discussed the steak so now for the drink. When I asked about the drinks, he just showed me the menu. I had already seen the menu on both sides yet I wasn't sure what drink I wanted. I explained again that I wasn't sure, yet I was hoping for a specialty drink. By this time other places begin suggesting specialty drinks based on my liking. That is the case when I visit Capital Grill in Scottsdale. Now when I visit there the server knows my drink. Today this server only stated that they have a full bar so once I decide I can order. So he was not helpful at all in that area of the restaurant. I thought a server would be knowledgeable enough to be able to make suggestions or recommendations and advise & inform me about the bar. What are the customer favorites? What has the bar come up with that customers like most? I saw on the website some drinks that looked interesting, yet I never saw any names attached to them. The server never came back after taking my order unless flagged by me. First, I called him when I had to show him the steak asking if that was Medium well. He stated no. Second was when I called him over to ask for a to go box for my steak. By 5pm I was not enjoying myself, so I decided to depart. The steak had to be sent back two times. The first after asking the server is this Medium well? He noticed how rare it was and took the steak back. When it came back a female in tan brought it back and asked me to check it. I cut it and again it was still rare. She picked it up asking if I wanted her to cook up a fresh steak. Without hearing my reply, she departed with the steak. Upon her return I noticed that she brought back the same steak. I cut into it and it was ok enough. I just wanted to eat. The steak was not as perfect as I had hoped for even after the trip back to the kitchen two times. That was the reason that I was at a so-called high-end restaurant, I wanted to enjoy a high-quality steak prepared perfectly with outstanding texture and taste. That was not the case here. The steak was a bit tough and chewy. I have returned a steak a few times but never twice at the same place. Doesn't the cook know when the steak is prepared as ordered? To order a steak at Texas Roadhouse means you will get exactly what you ordered with a very high 90 plus percent of the time. Not one person stopped by my table to ask how everything was going or how I was. Every place else I have visited at least the server will ask. Wasn't there a manager making rounds checking on their restaurant? This place showed me they just don't care about people or only the select people maybe. As a Veteran I don't ask for much, just treat me with dignity and respect. I remained calm and was trying to enjoy the meal. Yet at my age and sitting there by myself on my birthday the only thing I wanted was a fabulous meal. For a month prior to my birthday, I began looking for the restaurant I wanted to visit fo

The only dish that didn't quite meet our expectations was the corn bread, but when we told the server he was so kind about it and we were able to exchange it for a different side. The overall service was great! I made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. Kyle checked up on us frequently and our food came out pretty quick too! Also, at the bar area there was a TV that played the world cup game, and afterwards baseball. I think this can be a nice lowkey place to watch a game since the vibe was chill. Keep in mind the everyday happy hour is only for the cocktails: the cocktails are $6 and we all enjoyed ours. I got a No. 22 and really liked it. If you don't drink, you can also make the cocktails to mocktails too. Before coming here, I had once been to the next door ice cream place Churn before, but this was my first time coming to Windsor, and I didn't even realize they served the Churn ice cream too for desert! My friends and I shared a triple scoop of double chocolate, sweet cream, and cookies & mint in a cup. It was a good amount of ice cream for the 4 of us, not too sweet either. This place is also advertised as dog-friendly online, which I assume was meant for the outdoor patio seating (the patio looked cute, it had misters and was covered). Overall, great place!! So glad I came here :)
