If there is a fondue place near me there's a 95% chance I will go to it regardless how good or bad the reviews are. My husband and I have been to this Melting Pot location before and I needed to get my cheese fix so we decided to come here last night. Restaurant is in a good location with plenty of parking. We made a reservation on open table and were seated right away. The Host was really nice and noticed my husband was using crutches so they gave us the option of a booth or a table which was great. Our server was excellent- took her time explaining everything was constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything. She also made one of the best cheeses I have had- it was perfect. Many will say, you been to one Melting Pot, you have been to all of them...that is simply not true. I have been to ones with bad food or bad service and this one exceeds my expectations every time and always has the freshest ingredients and remarkable service! There are only a few things I could say that could take this review from a 4 star rating to a 5 star. The first being the broth could use a little less salt, the tend to overdo it here and the next would be to have a little heavier pour on their old fashions/rocks/neat drinks, for the price you pay it comes up a little short.

Awesome Mother's Day meal thank you. Great service explained everything in detail. Jeph was awesome. Thank you for making my holiday wonderful . We also received roses for all the Mom's. Just a great added touch.

Absolutely the best !! Very comfy and cozy atmosphere. Our server, Ryland? Well I can't say enough good things about her. By the time we left we felt like we had acquired a new granddaughter

We took our family here for a special anniversary dinner. When I made the reservation, I was told tabletop grilling was also available. We had a party of 8 and was seated at a long table in a very noisy area and asked our waitress to talk louder as we could hardly hear her. She was very accomadating overall trying to explain about the menu. We were disappointed that no tabletop grilling was offered . Also, there were 2 fondue pots on our table, so we were limited on what we all wanted to fondue. Overall, the food was fresh, but my steak and chicken to fondue was already so overseasoned with salt and pepper I couldn't eat it. We ordered an oil and a broth fondue for the table. The veges cooked in broth were nothing special and most not eaten. The seafood was fresh and tasty. The tempura batter did not cook up crispy. Chocolate fondue dessert enjoyed by all. Between drinks and some ala cart items our bill came to over $600. We all agreed that we could have eaten elsewhere with a more accomadating menu. As for me the anniversary girl, I was disappointed with the ambiance, the noise and my overseasoned food. I came here based on the great reviews. Yes, it was an interesting dining experience and we all agreed really not the best choice for dinner for our party of 8.

A total blast!!! We were staying in MB for our sons 14th birthday. We wanted a fun experience for dinner. My husband found MP, easily made reservations (thank you!) and even surprised him with a birthday bear. We didn't really have an idea what to order or what to do but it ended up being a fun experience that is perfect for special occasions. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. The cheese was our favorite part for sure!! They even brought out a desert for our sun and decorated the plate. What a special dinner!

Great place to go if you have celiacs! Big sticker right on the window when you first walk in that they're trained and compliant. Now this place is expensive however, you get what you pay for and that's an experience with some awesome food. The menu is a lot to take in so do your research ahead of time if you don't like surprises. Everything with gluten was clearly marked and thankfully they allow for substitutions. We opted to skip the salad which no one usually does but you can skip whoever courses you'd like. They're typically 4 courses but don't let that scare you. Get whatever you want! Skip the salad, eat the chocolate! Place was a bit dark but quiet given the place was packed! We'd definitely eat here again knowing they take allergies seriously. Food was amazing and so was the service.

Ask for Temerous if you decide to dine at the Melting Pot. He made the atmosphere comfortable and fun, my boyfriend and I dined there this evening. The food was amazing, the cheese fondue (Classic Alpine) was a must. The table-side presentation which we were informed just started yesterday, definitely added to the experience. If you aren't too full, you must also try the Chocolate Explosion for dessert.

My mom now lives in Myrtle Beach. I come here to see her often and she always tells me how much she misses the Korean restaurants back home. So I found this place and decided to give it a whirl with very low expectations. The price for starters blew me away- $25 a person AYCE hotpot and bbq is almost unheard of! I really didn't believe it until I physically saw the bill. I also like how they have all the raw meats/fish and veggies set up in a buffet like style for you to bring back to the table to cook for yourself. Each person at the table gets their own soup aka hotpot that they can put whatever they want into it-I got the mushroom one and it was just simply outstanding. For the Vegans and Vegetarians- so many options here for you all as well! Everything was so fresh and even when I was full- I couldn't stop eating. We all definitely ate more than $25's worth. The service was also fantastic, the waitress constantly kept coming to check on us to make sure our table was good. Everything was seasoned properly and very fresh with a ton of dipping sauces that would make anyone who goes there happy. I will however say, they need to step up on the side dishes- the kimchi could have been a better quality along with their cold radish and spicy cucumber side, maybe possibly add some type of salad bar. The actual bbq pit on the tables could also be a little bit bigger, I found it to be small and it made it hard to cook all the meats and veggies at the same time. But other than that hats off the owner for making such a fantastic inexpensive Korean restaurant in Myrtle Beach. This place is a win for sure!

First off, it is located in the Embassy Suites hotel, but once inside the ambience is soft and romantic. The menu is filled with everything from hush puppies to steak and fish. There is a large wine selection and mixed drinks available as well. To start we opted for the hush puppies and they were delicious, served with an amazing cheese sauce. We were also given complimentary fresh bread with herbed butter and crackers with pimento cheese. Every bite was absolutely delicious. I would absolutely recommend the salmon. It was amazing served with the risotto and the honey pushed the dish over the top. We also visited again for restaurant week and again were very impressed. The seafood chowder was soooo good and filled with flavor and chunks of seafood. The charred Caesar salad had chunks of roasted garlic that made the dish a standout. Honestly though the Frozen Peanut Butter Pie is a MUST!! It is so rich and smooth you will enjoy every last bite. Food is fantastic, service is amazing, and the ambiance is the wrapping on the gift. Definitely give vintage twelve a try if your looking for a nice dining experience away from the tourist traps.

Perfect Spot for a Sunny Afternoon Lunch!…read more We stopped into Gordon Biersch Brewery in Myrtle Beach on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon for a late lunch, and we were thrilled to be seated right away in their lovely outdoor dining area. Our server was fantastic--very attentive, bringing out our drinks super quickly and checking in just when we were ready to order. The menu has tons of wonderful options, from fresh salads to hearty sandwiches and their signature brewery-inspired dishes. Prices are a bit on the higher side for lunch, but the quality makes it completely worth it. I went with the Caesar salad topped with salmon, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly dressed--the salmon was cooked just right. My husband ordered the French dip with fries, and he raved about how juicy and tender the beef was. Portions weren't enormous, but they were more than adequate and left us satisfied without feeling stuffed. The highlight was definitely sitting outside in the spring sunshine, people-watching in the vibrant Market Common area while enjoying the relaxed vibe. The patio setup with umbrellas kept it comfortable, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming and lively in the best way. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Myrtle Beach--great food, excellent service, and that outdoor seating on a perfect day is hard to beat!

We started with the calamari appetizer, which was okay but honestly a bit disappointing. It came out rubbery, like it had been overcooked, though it wasn't so bad that we couldn't finish it. For the main, I went with the burger (yeah, I know, seafood house, but sometimes you just crave one), and man, it was juicy, flavorful, with all the fixings done right. Totally hit the spot. My gf got the seafood platter and she said it was pretty good but definitely had better at other locations. Everything tasted fresh and the service was friendly, no complaints there. But the prices? This was a guaranteed worth the travel place, always. After Covid it was terrible....BUT....being in the industry I said they are probably shortstaffed, struggling like the rest of us. Well. We decided to give Landry's a try again since we ate here for 13 + solid years. We booked our reservation through red table app ... We were seated and .... And.... And No one acknowledged us. I walked to the front door as he had parked 1,000,000 miles away to wait for him to show him where we were seated. He finally joined us. I had to use the restroom. Then we all joined back together. We waited for about five more minutes after all of that but there was someone at the table at all times. You can imagine with all of that this took about 10 + minutes and not one person acknowledged us sitting at the table. No "has anybody been with you yet?" They used to serve a family style salad bowl before the meal came was such a delicious hold over. Now a person has to pay $5.25 for just side salad to add for a $50+ steak that only comes with a side of instant potatoes is lazy and sad(we had plenty of time to table watch). So essentially, I would have been paying $80 bucks per person at our table with a cocktail or 2 with instant mashed potatoes and a slice of beef. No lettuce unless you pay extra for it. Most restaurants have accompaniments with two sides for less than that.Oh and let's not forget you would be paying for all of this only if someone would greet your table! It seems like this is definitely the departure and it breaks my heart because it was such a great restaurant. They are charging a bit much with so little care and we should've taken the red flag as that restaurant was booming years ago and even at the hour that we chose it never mattered. Before, they were completely packed until they closed the door and now at 8 o'clock they were very empty. Last dining hall empty(thought maybe closed off for concentrated closing duty. But NO ONE at the bar.NO ONE at entrance surrounding bar booths. At least this was one of the most fantastic restaurants of its time so thanks for the memories.
