Affordable. Good chill environment. Has outdoor and outdoor seating. The people are basically nice (4/5), and the food is not bad but not fancy (4/5) good portion for the price. Simple and honest, Cherie

Dog friendly patio: check. Good solid bar food: check. Plenty of tv's: check. Tasty drinks: check. So overall, the perfect chill spot for a bite to eat in East Atlanta. After grabbing beers at Hippin Hops down the street, we decided to grab some REAL food but would also allow the pups, so our friends suggested The Midway Pub. Definitely super dog friendly, as there were already a few dogs on the patio when we arrived. We ordered inside at the register, I am a sucker for a greasy patty melt and that was exactly what I got, with a side of tots. And i don't mean that in a negative connotation at all. It was solid and perfect for soaking up the alcohol. Speaking of alcohol, they had boozy slushies going so of course I had to order one. The Midway Pub is the perfect spot for dog friendly sport watching hanging with solid food and drink!

You wanna go where everyone knows your name This is my version of a Cheers bar. Local down to earth people, good drinks, yummy fast food, TVs, good music and things like Tuesday night trivia. No pretentious vibes. Just a cool local place to relax and have a few drinks solo or with friends. EAV secret!

When i got there, i was like hmm a Buffalo Chicken Wrap seems nice, and when i got it, the chips were dry and tasteless. I took a bite of that wrap and it tasted like straight vinegar... Then i decided to order their chicken tenders cuz u cant mess up chicken tenders, right? Well they were DRYYY and the breading was straight up ass, it didnt have any seasoning and only tasted like flour. The chicken wasn't even good smh... What made me extremely mad was that i ordered a lemonade cuz i love lemonade bro, IT WAS SO BADDD i cant even describe it, shit didnt even taste like lemonade. The burger was ok but the fries were dry too bro, barely any seasoning and moist, istg this is the worst place I've been to.... At least there was a cure dog outside, that made me feel better but still this place is ass, i DO NOTTTT recommend at all

While I don't think I got to truly experience Midway Pub in the way it was meant to be experienced, I really liked what I got. So due to COVID, everything was outside which was the biggest change I assume in the establishment. You walk up to a counter, order, and if you want to leave a tab open you could. Once your order is ready (both drink and food) they call your name and you pick it up. There is very little human interaction here due to the regulations. I got their Chicken sandwich and a Greek salad. The chicken sandwich was so spicy. I like a spicy chicken sandwich and this was it! I only wish I had more to drink to cool down my mouth. The Greek salad was great, but the only thing I didn't like was that there were so many hot peppers in there. Like TONS! For my drink, I got their hard apple cider which was my favorite thing of the night. I had two it was so good. Perfect for a cool night in Atlanta. The downside to their COVID set up is everything is line based so if you've got a tab open you have to get in the same line as the people who never ordered to either get another drink or close it out. So there tends to be a lot of standing around if it gets busy. I'm thankful they were open, so believe me I'm not saying anything truly bad about it, but it was a pain point in an overall great experience. I can't wait to come back once things are better and truly experience this place.

Cool pub in east Atlanta. My husband is staying in this area while he's working in On a TV show. We stopped by here for some drinks and a snack. He used to come here when he lived/worked here maybe 10+ years ago. Ordered at the walk up window - I got the frose, he got a beer and some chicken tenders and fries. They had ample outside seating which was nice, Drinks came first, then chicken. You just pick up at another window. My drink was nice and refreshing on a hot day. Tenders were super breaded and fried but tasted pretty good. Fries were crispy and tasty as well. Overall a cool spot to chill on the weekend.

The midway Pub's outside is open. They have a decent size outside area and they take COVID-19 precautions seriously. I felt safe while enjoying their food and drink. I had an Aligash White beer ($5) and Nashville fried chicken with fries. The chicken was of good quality and the seasoning and sauce was great. I believe it was $10. Although I wish it was bigger in size it tasted great and I would gladly accept quality over quantity. The chicken could have been spicier but I'm a spice head so I'm sure it is good for the regular hot chicken goer. I was told the fries were new style to the menu and decided to try them. I am usually "meh" about fries but these were garlic aioli that had a little crisp breading that made them unlike your typical fries. They cost ($5) so I am happy I got what I paid for. My date had the chicken biscuit with cheese n bacon. I had a bite and the salty of the chicken n bacon with the buttery sweet of the biscuit was delicious with first bite and continued to have a linger shout to my taste buds to take another bite. I will be back to enjoy their outdoor Pub again and when they full open the inside I will give them my business because they are doing something right and I want to find more of that.

5 stars for a wide selection of beer and 1 star for food. The food has gone downhill, not sure why. 16$ for a burger plate with that's about the size of a McDonald's burger and Ore-Ida frozen fries. The fish sandwich tastes like it was caught in the local creek. It was 12$ by itself without fries.

If you are looking for a new "guilty pleasure" spot, this is it. Food is delicious and while I am sure they have some healthy options, we ordered all the non healthy options lol. First of all, you have to try this place at least once just for the "Walking Tacos". Its a shell-less taco inside a bag of fritos. Delicious! I had it with Beyond meat instead of real meat and it was still delicious. I also had a fried chicken sandwich and by bf had the catfish and grits. The grits were super creamy. We topped this all off with a High Noon seltzer. This place was delicious and I will be back! For more food reviews, follow @theboogiefoodie

The Midway is a great big local bar in East Atlanta. There are five, yes 5, different areas you can enjoy: the long bar, inside seating at tables or booths, the open-air patio, covered patio, or the Tiki bar (Tiki bar gets five stars). I usually sit at the bar because my friends are always there and the serves are fantastic. The bartenders remember you and are so friendly (they get 5 stars). They have a ton of TVs and bring out the big screens for soccer matches. The bar is a viewing spot for Atlanta United, specifically the support club Footie Mob, and I'm sure other sports and their support clubs, but know don't them. It gets packed, so if you want seats, then come early, or you might be standing. I have eaten many things from this place over the .... let's not count the year. My original go-to was the veggie corn dogs with the fantastic creole honey mustard (I could drink this stuff), garlic pretzel bites, or the beer cheese dip. I have eaten my fair share of the grilled cheeses or Guinness chicken tenders with tots and their veggie burger. Notice my theme of cheese. Now, 2020, that I am Keto, I will not be eating any of those and will stick with the wings.

This is a very low key, unassuming spot..especially to be located in an area where other places get packed! The food was very good, the service was great, and the drinks were priced well. The shots of good bourbon were just $5. I enjoyed the burger, but the green beans and patty melt were awesome! There is outdoor seating, and you're likely not going to find it packed here. Definently will be back!

The fries were amazing and I should've gotten the aolie initially, but didn't get it until I saw another table with an order. It was delicious. The service was very good.
