We had the fish and chips, and they were fresh and light. Included an updated menu, because the one that is currently listed online is not even close to being correct. They said they haven't served Lobster rolls or soup for years.

Great service, everyone is nice. Breakfast is wonderful. Lobster stew was the best I've ever had. Homemade pies and donuts. Oh, and marble rye is a toast option! Swoon!

Beautiful family style restaurant. I didn't realize it, but it was 10 minuets before closing, when I asked if they were closing. The ladies said "no" and invited me in. The food was real good, and then and once my belly wasn't feeling hungry anymore, I went on Yelp to give them a thumbs up. That's when I realize they were closing at 2! Thank you ladies for being so pleasant and giving me such a warm welcome, along with wonderful service and great food. "You guys are the best!" I was able to rest and whined down before going to visit my mom in the nursing home down the road. I hope I'll be able to visit you again this week before I head back to Florida. Thanks again for your sincere kindness!

My mother in law suggested we go to this restaurant on a Friday afternoon for some lunch. I found this quaint little restaurant to be a gem. There's not much to look at from the outside. There seemed to be ample parking spaces although not marked very well. As you come in, you'll find there's a small bar to sit at and some booths. Nothing fancy at all. They were pretty busy when we came in. We squeezed our way through to sit at the end of the counter. We were welcomed by one of the servers and given a menu. After overlooking the menu, I set my eyes on their Maine lobster roll. I was so excited I couldn't stay still in my seat. Until they told me they were out of lobster for the day. My heart wept. I was soooo disappointed. I went ahead and ordered the Crab roll and hubby ordered the haddock burger. He loved his haddock burger. It was huge. And the fries that came with it were delicious! Mine? I thought I was on camera.. I was handed a plate of spinach with tomatoes and a huge helping of crabmeat on top. Yes, it looked delicious, but not on a roll as I asked for. I just gave up. I actually thought the salad was delicious. It was served with Newman's Own balsamic vinaigrette. In conclusion, food was delicious. I was super bummed no lobster roll. I still can't get over the fact that they didn't have lobster on a weekday at 12 noon. Service was slow. The restaurant was beat up and could use a face lift. But I do appreciate that's all part of the Maine charm. I do love the historic pictures and Knick knacks places all over.

The best fish&chips we've ever had. The onion rings were fantastic. Fries were great. Burger was good too.

If you're visiting the quiet side of Acadia National Park, don't miss Clark Point Cafe. We loved it…read moreso much we went there every single day during our vacation. This is truly one of the best breakfast places I've ever been to. Everything was exceptional -- the Eggs Benedict, tartines, Turkish eggs, fresh bakery items, and all the different superb coffee selections. Every meal was fresh, unique, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and relaxing, with friendly service that made us feel at home every time we walked in. Clark Point Cafe became one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Acadia's quiet side!

This was my second time visiting & I ended up ordering even more than the first. I originally…read moreplanned to try a new spot, but nothing else was open around that time so I came back here, and I'm glad I did. I started with two toasted bagels with cream cheese. They were fine, not the freshest bagels I've had, but they had a good amount of cream cheese, just okay overall. The croissant was large and nicely toasted, likely not baked in-house (gave off Costco croissant vibes), but it came with a really tasty berry spread. The blueberry scone, however, wasn't great. Not a fan of the texture or flavor on that one. For coffee, I tried the dirty chai and a regular drip coffee, both solid and satisfying. But the real showstopper was the lavender latte. I'm obsessed. It was fragrant, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Easily my favorite part of the visit. I also had the BLT sandwich and the smoked salmon tartine. Both were delicious. You could tell the same ingredients (pickles, veggies, capers) were used across multiple items, but it still worked well and tasted fresh. Lastly, I ordered the Dutch baby pancake. The presentation was lovely, and it was freshly made, but the flavor was just okay, I've had better. The overall experience was really fun. People around us were checking out my food and even asked for recommendations. The staff also acknowledged our spread, which made it feel even more welcoming.
