    Armenian Espresso
    Sara B.

This place was so good, I follow them on Instagram and knew I had to try them. I had the mini waffles, which are on special on Wednesday's. I also had their Pistachio Latte it was delicious. My husband tried their Armenian Espresso which he also thought was delicious. The staff were very nice, it is a small little spot, but it was quaint. Next time we're up in LA we will definitely be back.

Popped in for a quick coffee and was greeted with an expansive menu for a reasonable price! The place is small and clean with a door into the kitchen, and you can tell a lot of love is put into making this place the local gem that it is. The cashier was incredibly friendly and was more than happy to combine their Little Armenian Latte with the Iced Raspberry Latte cause I couldn't choose. The raspberry was unlike any I've ever had before, you can tell it's made in house and tastes like pure bliss. Ditch any other brunch spots and hit up the Moody Vegan instead!

Delicious vegan food! Everything I've had here has been great and you can't even tell it's vegan. This was my first time trying the churro croissant and it was so good Also, the owner could be the nicest man alive. He makes it worth the visit every time and is always making the experience as enjoyable as possible

Delicious vegan breakfast options...which is often a challenge to find. The service was quick and friendly. The cafe only has a few tables, and it gets crowded quick. We went there shortly after opening and ordered the breakfast burrito in a bowl and the breakfast plate. both were delicious. I look forward to going to back to try lunch or dinner sometime.

This restaurant is the cutest and I came here recently with my mom and my cousin when they were in town. There were a few tables inside as well as outside and the decor is eclectic and vibrant. I ordered the breakfast burrito which is a must, as it's so savory and hearty and flavorful. It really hit the spot and had the perfect level of spice. I also got the pistachio latte with oat milk, which was on special. It was nutty and creamy and so well balanced. The service was so friendly and impeccable and the food was served very promptly. We were even checked on a few times to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, which it very much was! My cousin and mom also loved their food and drinks and raved about how flavorful everything was. The value here is great for the area and everything is reasonably priced. The seating is also very comfy. While we didn't end up getting dessert, their baked goods looked so delicious and enticing and next time I return, I will just have to try some! Parking was pretty easy in the surrounding neighborhood, just make sure to check for street cleaning signs!

I was referred by my neighbor and apparently everyone in my building orders this like it is going out of style. After my first visit to Moody Vegan I immediately understood why. This is a family owned restaurant in Los Angeles and you can feel that heart behind it the moment you walk in. The place is incredibly clean and not in a surface level way but genuinely spotless every single time I am there. The people working there are so kind welcoming and patient and it feels like they truly care about both the food and the customers. Now let's talk about the breakfast burrito because it absolutely deserves the hype. It is award winning and for good reason. My kids literally fight over it. I learned very quickly that ordering just one is a mistake so now I always order two. I still do not know how they manage to finish it because it is massive and packed with so much flavor. It is filling comforting and unbelievably satisfying. Everything inside tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared and you completely forget you are eating vegan food because it is just that good. Everything at Moody Vegan tastes fresh and intentional. Nothing feels processed or rushed. The ingredients are high quality and the portions are generous without being messy or overwhelming. The concept itself is amazing and really well executed. It feels modern but still warm and inviting. Even the branding stands out. The logo is great and the whole place has a cohesive vibe that just works. What really seals it for me is how consistent they are. Every visit is just as good as the last which is rare. It makes sense now why everyone in my building orders from here so often. It has become one of those places people rely on because it never disappoints. I genuinely love this place. Love love love it. Moody Vegan is proof that vegan food can be hearty crave worthy and comforting while still being clean and thoughtful. If you are in Los Angeles and have not tried it yet you are seriously missing out. This is the kind of spot you recommend to everyone and then selfishly hope it never gets too crowded because you want to keep it all to yourself.

Nothing but good moods and great vibes at The Moody Vegan. This chic little bakery cafe restaurant in East Hollywood's Little Armenia neighborhood is an entirely vegan (aka plant-based) spot with a awesome variety of yummy meals, deals, and mini frills including their assortment of pastries, baked goods and beverages. I've been lucky enough to enjoy things here and there in the past, mainly via friends picking up delicious eats and special occasion items for small gatherings, but this was one of my very first full on sit down experiences ever! The service was beyond the highlight of my day. I was greeted with the best welcoming energy and in no way ever felt rushed to order. Alex, the husband of the owner is one of the most genuine human beings I ever met. He's a one man show helping run this now just shy of two full years old hub for any and all. He's got all the recommends and then some! Once you order you can enjoy dinning inside or out, great ambiance, cool images, decor and art + that awesome assortment of merch(andise/swag) behind the counter. I went with the breakfast plate, white chocolate pecan cookie and a cold brew... And let me tell you, I need this combination again. I'd also recommend the banana bread, other cookie gems, wraps and sandwiches. The menu for eats is a good variety with seasonal items floating in throughout the year. Also highlighting other great breakfast/brunch/lunch/vrunch items like that out of this world breakfast burrito, fries, and famous tacos. Feeling "Smoody?" They've got a variety of extensive smoothies, shakes, teas, coffees, drinks and refreshing things. Parking is street or your own two feet off the corner to Sunset Blvd/Normandie Avenue. Pup friendly. Foodie dreamy. And one to be enjoyed by any and everybody. The Moody Vegan has been featured in some awesome publications including 30 of the best vegetarian and vegan restaurants in L.A. Your very own "A Yelp Elite's guide to vrunch in Los Angeles" and many others. Make your mood + day nothing but goody goodiness at The Moody Vegan #EatLocal #BeFoodieVocal #SupportSmol #SupportLocal

Garlic fries and Lavender mint lemonade

Came here straight from the Oncologist office after being officially pronounced cancer free!!!! I'm not a Vegan but leaving that way. Clean establishment, easy parking, great prices! Food is absolutely delicious! Try the garlic fries!!! Yummmm! The lavender mint lemonade is out of this world!! Owner is very sweet, great music! The vibes are so not at all LA! It's its own little happy planet! Oh and it's Earth Day too! Lolol

LA! Best vegan breakfast and lunch around, from burgers to wraps to eggs to pastries to drinks, all perfecto! And with a kind and welcoming maestro of a host, who somehow remembers every one of we vegans who roll in here! I drive all the way from the beach just for this vegan fare!

    Breakfast Burrito (it's HUGE)
    Shiloh W.

The Moody Vegan has the BEST breakfast burrito I have ever had. Savory, a little crunch from the potatoes, and I always get the avocado sauce on the side for a little extra flair. My daughter LOVES the mini waffles and the pumpkin loaf and blueberry coffee cake. Pro tip: they also do custom cakes and cupcakes/mini cupcakes. I've gotten these for parties and even work events with RAVE reviews. The service is incredible, the vibes in the place are so cute- Cannot recommend this place enough. I order once a week!

Easily my favorite thing I tried! The tofu cream croissant toast was airy and light, with a creamy topping that wasn't overly sweet. The mushroom béchamel was savory and good. I only got it because my brother suggested it. Normally I would not seek mushroom pastries even though I like mushrooms. The yuzu meringue croiffin was good, but I am not used to tart flavors in croissant/pastry combination. The cafe is very tiny, with only one table for seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. There are seats outside. I also wanted to try the black sesame pastry, but didn't see it available when I visited. I'd definitely go back to try it. The drink was the standout for me!

She took me here. The place was very clean and tidy with a lot of different types of sweet treats. I was there for one thing only. I did ask the gal working if they were made that day and she said yes. We ordered a raspberry, an orange, a coffee bean and the popular mango. This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. They look so beautiful but the taste is a let down.

There were endless selection of salt bread and different flavoured buns which all looked delicious. As we were browsing and deciding, the lady at the counter was kind enough to offer us a sample of the butter rice cake. The butter tteok tasted pretty good on the spot so we bought a pack of 5 back home along with a hot and spicy salt bread and corn soboro. The butter rice cakes were already cold and hard when we got home, the inside was dense and chewy in a bad way. I didn't want them to go to waste so I tried reheating them in the over for a few minutes. It was warm but the texture never recovered, everything just got more dense and hard. The hot and spicy salt bread looked like a winner, but when we bit into it, the bread was just crunchy and overly buttery without a lot of flavour. The inside did not have the soft pillowy texture you'd expect from salt bread. The filling was a budget hot dog and some corn mixed with mayo. We cut the bread in half and my boyfriend said his piece had way too much mayo and mine barely had any. I grabbed the corn soboro thinking it would be delicious since it was corn season but was the most disappointed by it. I reheated the bread again to get the cookie top to crisp up. The soboro top didn't have a lot of crunch or flavour, it was just a layer of sweetness with no texture. The corn cream filling was not good, the corn was dehydrated and had no flavour at all. It honestly tasted a bit like canned corn that's over baked, I ended up scooping it out because the bread was better without it. Maybe it's better to go earlier when the baked goods are fresh and eat it there instead of taking it home.
