Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I was out in Kennet Square with my mom and saw The Naked Olive, so we decided to check it out. You walk in and you're greeted with a really cool, clean and trendy looking spot. Super friendly staff and great decor. I had the Liguria Club sandwich and it was fantastic. It's got to be one of the freshest all around tasting sandwiches I've ever had. My mom had the burger and I tried a bite of that, also great and really fresh. Definitely no froze patty in this spot. All the apps looked intriguing and the dinner entrees do as well. I would highly recommend going to The Naked Olive! read more

We have been to the Naked Olive a couple of times and despite being seated basically at the door on a cold night we still enjoyed. The food is great with a great menu. The Naked Olive is a new family-owned place in Kennett and is SO GOOD!!! The ambience is perfect for girls night or a romantic date night. Even better- it's a BYO!! I don't see many BYOB's with an affordable menu like this one. They serve Mediterranean/American menu. I started with the fried calamari- perfectly crispy! For an entree, I had the short rib pasta- HIGHLY RECOMMEND. For dessert, I recommend the tiropita- it's feta cheese wrapped in dough and topped with honey Our sever- Bridget gave the best recommendations. Great new restaurant in Kennett square. Love the place, the food and the service! The decorations are very pleasant. We were there 2 times. First time a group of 6 on a Friday for dinner, with reservations. The place was packed and noisy but the atmosphere was very happy and welcoming. Dimitri the owner is the best. He came to our table and we have a great time talking with him. Our group is very international and he likes to travel. Second time was for lunch less crowded but still a lot of people. No reservations this time. I loved the calamari and the pizzas. I will be back! read more

Food is always good, but doesn't always translate to takeout. Sweet potato fries not very good. Soggy. French fries are good and kids love the chicken and fries. Lemon chicken is good choice. This place usually has good food and service, but they dropped the ball yesterday. The host pointed us to our table in the back instead of walking us there. Our server was practically non-existant: never checked on us or our meals after the kitchen staff delivered them to our table; had to flag her down several times for basics like salt & pepper, sugar for tea, water, etc. My soup was tasty but barely lukewarm. My friend's spanikopita looked like a heavy, doughy croissant versus traditional flaky phyllo. The filling was kind of skimpy, too. I think our regular and decaf coffees were mixed up too, after waiting 15 minutes to get them. Really disappointed. read more

Loved it. My in-laws were visiting from Virginia Beach so our group of nine made reservations. Everyone of us had a great experience. We all ordered something different to get a solid array of tastes. Pizzas were great, linguine with short rib was fantastic. Gnocchi with chicken and pesto sauce was probably the best meal there. Greek salad was amazing and fresh. Octopus was prepared very well. Pasta with Alfredo sauce was nicely done. Calamari appetizer was enjoyed by all. Large rings and very thick. Served with two types of sauces and they were both great. Falafel/pita sandwich was huge and very well-made. Portions were very large and everyone one of us were stuffed. First two visits, I was in love. Today's visit was annoying. My suggestion is to avoid weekday afternoons. Service was painfully slow today yet there were 5 or 6 young employees just shooting the breeze. The restaurant was practically empty. I had mushroom soup and tea with honey..... Not sure why, but both my husband and I have had an upset tummy after eating there today. ???? Perhaps we are coming down with something. The mushroom soup was very different. It was completely puréed ~ no big pieces of yummy Kennett Square mushrooms. It was served piping hot so they get a shout out for that and it was flavorful. read more

Second time dining here. I love Greek food almost as much as I love my wife. From appetizers to desserts, everything was perfect. So good in fact that I ordered the same menu items on both occasions and had consistently high quality. Appetizers, lollipop lamb chops; grilled octopus; and a Mezze platter. Main course: Branzino ( grilled sea bass with broccolini. Dessert: cheese cake with raspberry reduction. Service was sterling. The decor is inviting and despite the brisk business it's conversation and family friendly. It reminds me a little of Kokkari in San Francisco! read more

Went there on a first date. We had a table in the corner, which was kind of nice for privacy and conversation. The waitress McKenzie was very pleasant and brought us waters and warmed bread with olive oil. We both ordered salads with grilled chicken and they were very good size salads and very well done. My only "complaint" is that there was very little olive oil in the bottom of the dish of olive oil that was brought with the bread. After two pieces of bread, all the olive oil was consumed. We could've asked for more, but we were so busy in conversation that we forgot. read more

Decided to try this restaurant after my daughter had lunch there and hearing only good things about it. Was not disappointed. Sat in the back room. It doesn't look as big as it is from the outside. Enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. And the portion was huge so I had half left for lunch the next day. It was a hard decision to choose from the menu as so many things looked good. This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always amazing and the service is fantastic! Even though they were extremely busy on Mother's Day, everyone was so nice and apologetic that the food took a bit longer than usual. Great place for a casual dinner. The branzino is excellent. My daughter had a risotto which she enjoyed. Love the BYOB, and quick service.

Service, food, and ambiance all above par. Had lunch on Saturday with my grandmother. Not crowded at all and we were greeted and seated immediately. Establishment was very clean. Our waitress Anika I believe was so sweet and polite. A true pleasure to have serve us. My grandmother ordered a mushroom sandwich with fries. Delectable she said. The pizza was perfect.
