Don't overlook their drink menu as there are hidden local recipes and the bartender even likes a challenge if your wanting something new. We have had their food a few times. However our meal this evening was extremely delicious. So much so our youngest had to walk home because he over ate. To me, ambiance and good food are equally important. This place has both, which is hard to find! Everything we tried was delicious, both food and cocktails. Food was ok. At least the appetizers. Hardly anyone was in the restaurant when we showed up. Still took 25 min to get our first drink. Had to ask for water every time. Put in a drink order and had to ask about our second drinks after another 20 min. Again, place was almost empty. Not sure how they rate so high. Maybe we just had the bad wait staff. Food was ok. I have visited this establishment twice now and both times the service has been horrible. The first time the host forgot to put us on the waitlist for a table and we waited for over an hour at the bar while other people were being seated. After finally being seated we had to wait another 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. The food was tasty when it finally arrived. Second visit, was seated right away. Ordered a drink and waited an hour for the drink while the people I was with had two rounds. That's outrageous! When we finally placed our food order we never got check on again. When we finally got our server 's attention to cancel the order due to waiting to long our food was " suddenly ready". I am all for supporting small establishments but I sure hope they get better service. I will not be returning. read more

I took friends to celebrate at this new place. We were greeted and seated promptly in a nice table. 15 minutes later a server greeted us and took drink orders. The ambiance was fine. The place was clean and well decorated. 10 minutes after our order our drinks arrived. We ordered an app to share with the table - ticket time was 20+ minutes. When it was delivered we ordered our meals. Ticket time in excess of 20+ minutes. Now the food - I have lots of steak bite meals - this was the worst - the meat and potatoes arrived swimming in oil and tasted terrible. The salmon my guest ordered was overcooked. We paid and left the server a significant tip because we don't kill the messenger. We probably should have stayed with a drink and moved to a different place for our meal. read more

I've been hearing about this place for some time and I can finally see why. Right off the bat, the ambiance is classic and cozy - a floor to ceiling antique wood bar, leather booths, chandeliers, and fireplace. The perfect spot for date night. We started off with cocktails that were amazing!!!! I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to an Old Fashioned and this was the best one I've ever tasted, by far! My friend had one of the non-alcoholic mocktails with fresh berries. So good! We shared a couple appetizers (super tasty bacon wrapped dates and cheese curds), then the Chicken Marsala and Mac & Cheese with Steak Bites. It was all so good, we were too stuffed to enjoy dessert. But we will be back, especially on a warmer night to enjoy the creekside dining. read more

This spot has some of the BEST cocktails I've ever had!!Food was good. We, both got their burger, which was overall good. Fries were good too. Service was nice. We sat in their outdoor patio to get a view and listen to the river. Inside is a cute place, has kind of an upscale feel and trendy for a small town, but okay to dress casual. I immediately notice the nice bar when we entered, which I absolutely adore. 4-stars only, because I felt their food menu was a bit limited. I was in the mood for something chicken that evening, and didn't see much for chicken choices. Would've loved to see more food options. read more

the waitresses spend more time gossiping and refers to everyone as guys even though I am female. for the cost the food was not that good. i recommend somewhere else it seems more like a gentleman old cigar lounge with the music and name and service. even though no one was smoking it had a weird vibe. not the best place in silverton. read more

Please invest in more high chairs. We came to eat after a full day of hiking with our three kiddos and the establishment has one high chair that was already in use and the family was just ordering. Include the accommodations for families. read more

Wine was delicious, didn't eat food. Was way to busy when we came in. They could have more staff to clean up the dirty plates that sat for over an hour after a couple left the bar. We sat sipping our wine and yet the dishes remained at the bar for over an hour. Beautiful bar, friendly staff, just need more of em, you can tell they are short staffed. read more

We discovered The Noble Fox quite by accident and were pretty happy about our dining experience. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. The food that we ordered (braised short-rib sandwich and steak tips with fries and a wonderful sauce) were well executed and tasty. The salad that they so kindly split for us was amazing. Our cocktails were exceptional, the lemon-drop was delicious! The service was friendly but rather slow. We found the timing a bit off between courses and also in receiving the check. read more

We were camping nearby and heard from 2 different people how great this place was. They don't take reservations so we walked in. It was a Monday at 7 and they said a 45min wait. No biggie. Walked around town and was texted about 20 min later they were ready. There were 4 of us, they still had to clean the table when we arrived and then we were seated. We we offered drinks pretty quickly. Then it was downhill from there. Brought out drinks fairly timely. My husband and friend had a glass of red wine, husband got a nice large glass for his cab and my friend got a smaller one. Weird. The server took our order and everyone pretty much disappeared on us. We asked for more water and she forgot. Finally came and refilled. Then we waited and waited and waited. We were in a corner inside and the servers seemed to be taking care of everyone outside. The dining room cleared and we were the only ones left in the restaurant. As a side note, there were more flies inside than customers due to the patio door left open all evening. We couldn't catch any one's attention to ask why the food was taking so long. No offers of a second round of drinks. Finally after an hour and 40 min the food finally came out. No apologies nor an explanation. So my husband got a salad, girlfriends husband got tacos from the appetizer and we split the steak bites and fries, nothing that should take that long. We invaded this wonderful bar and grill on Sunday afternoon just as they were opening (party of 6, 4:30 PM). We had three adults and three teenage girls seeking "mocktails"--which the bartender happily whipped up for them. (I had a delightful French 75.) Can we over praise the cheese curds, some of the best ever? We cannot. Can we stop rhapsodizing about the ocean of gourmet mac and cheese with caramelized onions, or the steak bites and frites, or the Cesar with divine fried chicken added to it? We cannot. Can we ignore our wonderful, patient waiter who treated us like royalty? We cannot. Should you immediately go to The Noble Fox and indulge yourselves like crazy in a post-COVID splurge worth every penny (and bring your friends)? Why yes, you should. read more

Its not fun to leave negative comments on a restaurant in my home. But this was a visit to forget! Arrived at 6 and was seated. Hostess brought water. About 15 min later we finally saw our waitress and ordered an ice tea and cocktail. Took them about 20 minutes to receive just our drinks. At that time we ordered our food. We waited and waited and waited. I had to wave the hostess down for water. Had no napkins on table and was not served any with drinks. Had to ask for them. No employee at all came over to apologize for our meal taking so long. From the time we ordered to the time we received our food, it was about an hour. Unacceptable in soooo many ways!! We were never asked for another drink or refill on ice tea either. My husband did say his burger was good. I had the cowboy mac. It was a huge bowl of pasta with a lot of things thrown into it. Way to much bbq sauce, the pasta was over cooked. They really need to make this portion smaller and lower the price. On their defense, they did try to make it right by offering a free dessert. Our first visit to this new restaurant was a tremendous success. Both my Mac & cheese and my wife's burger were delicious and top quality, and her requested modifications to the burger were cheerfully made. But what really blew us away were our cocktails. They were made with premium ingredients and beautifully prepared. These are cocktails of the caliber you'd expect to find in an elite NYC or New Orleans restaurant at twice the price. There is also an extensive selection of both classic and exotic whiskeys. Our server was a delight and really elevated our experience even though she and the bartender were scrambling to keep up with the number of customers.
