So trying to get a jump on my day I came to the laundry at 6 o'clock a.m. I was greeted by a car posted outside that said their hours start at 6 a.m. parked my car I got to the front door the girl inside just looked at me blankly the door was locked it was 6:15. Why do they posted this store opens at 6 a.m. when it's not true? I asked the young woman why doesn't she open at 6 a.m. like the sign says she's still just looked at me blankly. The facility is a perfect place for a college student to do laundry. There is a big screen tv, free wifi, snacks (for a price), and plenty of machines. And if your really busy you could drop of your clothing and let them do it for you (of course for a certain charge). This place gets five stars because every time that I have been here there has been friendly staff on site and the people that go there are friendly as well. I really like this place a LOT! I came to them for Dry Cleaning, because they came so highly recommended on Yelp. I had an Ivory coat, which I have lovingly abused for many years. Unfortunately, last time I pulled it out to wear it when the weather turned cold I realized it badly needed dry cleaning. I was really skeptical that any amount of cleaning could remove the dirt from the creases of the coat. I was DELIGHTED when I picked up my coat, though. I was afraid I was going to be paying for $9.95 worth of dirt that would stay there forever. Also, because it is also a laundromat and they sell food, I was very skeptical my garment would be safe to turn in for cleaning, and might get lost or damaged, as this is my first time using a dry cleaner with such affordable prices. However, don't let the affordable prices fool you. You still get a great dry cleaning service. I know not all people would appreciate this but they even hung a note on my hanger that let me know that not all stains would come out and that it was not overlooked... the basketweave of my coat has a few threads on the front which have a chemical stain/darkening which cannot be removed. I was aware of this but think that it is great demonstration of good customer service in dry cleaning. I used to take my garments to a place more expensive than this place in Folsom, and sometimes the garments I turned in would come back looking just as soiled as the day I brought them in... and they never made apologies or let me know why my garment still looked dirty, and it was just basic skin oil on white jacket linings. The coat I brought in looks (dispite the tiny chemical stain, that I did myself) as pristine as the day I purchased it. I will be back to this place for dry cleaning for SURE! So I haven't done laundry in a laundromat since I was like 5. I didn't think I would actually be so excited to go somewhere to do laundry. Where were laundromats like this when I was 5?! Not only do they have movies playing, they also have a snack bar! And the movies are new releases too. And one thing different from other places, they always have an attendant to help. I was there one time and someone had stuffed one dryer with too much clothes that it kept opening. The attendant took the initiative to split the stuff into two dryers and paid for the second dryer because the person wasn't there. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! One star taken off because the one time that I needed to pay for detergent with my Visa, the lady couldn't accept payment. There are signs that saying that they took Visa and Mastercard. I will have to ask next time if it was just down that day or if they actually don't take it. So make sure to bring cash! Also, make sure to get a punch card! 1 free wash for every 12 washes! read more

I come here every week (I live around the corner) and I appreciate the free dryers. I'd like to mention one thing because other reviews were incorrect about it, they do hold $5 on your account when using card but if you check your account a couple days later you are charged only what the machine costs. This place is alright in my book. They have a ton of washers and dryers, including three different sized washers. The washers are pretty averagely priced, I'd say comparable to any other laundry mat around the neighborhood. They play movies & have plenty of games. In theory this sounded great, in practice it was far too noisy for my taste. The movie was booming, kids were running around unsupervised, all I wanted to do was read and wait for my stuff to dry! Ahhh, the drying. My boyfriend and I made the mistake of mixing our towels and our clothes. It. Took. FOREVERRRR. The dryers are large, but not the most powerful. And $0.25 for 7 minutes of drying? I've never heard of that, and there were no signs anywhere. So my boyfriend and I thought that the display said "H (for high) 1:07" ... oh great we have an hour to shop at ross!!.... we came back to sopping wet clothes. Turns out it was "Hi :07" Oops! The positives of this place: LOTS of washers and dryers, we got four loads done in the time it usually takes to do one. This place is a ripped off!! After reading all the great reviews, I thought it was going to be a new laundry place I can depend on. But no! The washers are way over priced, because the dryers are free. This is a tactic to attract customers. People will think it's cheaper when they only have to pay for the wash but that's definitely not the case. A 2- loader costs $3.50 and in my honest opinion, it can barely fit 1 load of laundry. So the average washer is a 3-loader and these machines cost $4.50. These prices are outrageous to me. The place I normally go to, charges $1.50 for 2-loader and $2.50 for a 3-loader. So when I saw the prices, I was already hesitating but I was already there and was nearby some places I have errands to do, so I went for it. The thing that pisses me off the most is the free dryer. You can't leave your clothes to dry because you have to press the start button every 15 minutes. What the heck is that? I have a bunch of errands to run and when I do laundry I try to get them done so I don't waste as much time. But no!! I have to "stay with my clothes" exact quote from the attendant. So here I am, sitting here writing this review. I am pissed beyond believable. I get the whole concept but 15 minutes tho? Can a whole load of 15 minutes dry in 15 minutes? That doesn't make any darn sense at all. I give credit to the owner of this place. He/she really know how to run a business. Attracting customers with the free dry, over charge the washer, making people stay with their clothes so they become hungry and bored. They'll spend money at the snack bar, that was suppose to be there to make the experience better. No, my fellow earthlings!! No!! Just another way to get you to spend more money here. I want to preface this by saying that I've been coming here for years but this review is solely based on how they've responded to Covid. I have been extremely careful when I go out as I have health concerns that put me especially at risk. I've come when other workers are here and I've never seen anyone wear a mask or disinfect the tables. I've felt ridiculed by them when I wear a mask myself or take other precautions. The only reason I still come here is strictly for Carol. I will not come if anyone else is working as I simply do not feel safe or welcome. She understands my concerns and respects them. Right around the corner from our apartment, I like Oasis for its convenient location, large washers, and free drying. I've never had an issue with them enforcing their "at least half full" dryer rule which is great because their dryers are pretty huge and I have several different types of clothing that need different levels of drying. It was once a clean place, but is gets dirtier by the week! The inside of the machines, especially around the rim of the door interiors, are filthy! It looks like they only wipe down the exterior of the machines once a day, if that! There are usually three workers at any given time and they often sit outside smoking, talking and eating most of the day, except for the older lady---she seems to be the only one doing any work! I should give only 1 star considering the dryers near the end of the shop only give 5 minutes for .25 cents, but the ones closest to the counter give you 7 minutes for .25 cents and they are the same type of dryer...what's up with that? Lastly, why is Puss in Boots ALWAYS playing? If you are going to call yourself the most entertaining laundry in the world, get some new movies or just put on the television! read more

This placed has totally ruined my year . I brought 7 Burberry dress shirts to this place . Unfortunately when I went to go pick up my clothes I was going out of town to a wedding and I don't look at my shirts not one of them can I wear because they all have a stain on the same place I bring it back to them and they tell me that they can't do anything for me totally frustrating please don't ever bring your dry cleaning to this place trust me and they seem to never know what they're talking about in the owners never there and can never call you back. Do not take household bath mats to this facility for drop off service. Last week I dropped off 6 bath mats to be washed and cleaned. Employee wrote up invoice for $19.50 and told me they could be picked up the next day. When I went back two days later, the same employee told me they could not wash the bath mats based on the original estimate he gave me of $19.50 and instead wanted approval to charge $66.00 (triple the charge) for them to wash the 6 bath mats. Employee would not honor the invoice he wrote up and gave to me earlier for the $19.50. It is also significant to note I did not receive a phone call to tell me about their error. Clearly owner is not interested in providing customer service and honoring invoice created by employee. Employee was rude and not interested in fixing his mistake. read more

If I had known it would be so cheap and efficient to drop off my laundry I would have started doing it a long time ago. or should I say stopped doing it? Either way, this place is money. Drop it off at my lunch break, pick it up after work. It's only like 25 bucks for a couple weeks worth. They do such a good folding job, too. I'm a guy and thus do not possess the natural ability to do so. Everything is perfectly sorted and matched and ready to be put back in drawers. Or sit on the floor in my room until I wear it or consider wearing it, yadadimean? Just avoiding the painstaking task of matching and folding socks alone is worth it to me. Only 1 star because you have to give at least one! As for my experience, I had 3 shirts ruined. More specifically burnt by this cleaner. I took 2 of the shirts back in to show the owner who was not in but was told he would call me in 2 days. A week went by with no call so I went back in and was told he is on vacation for a couple weeks. They told me he said there's no way they could have done that to my shirts. I've always wondered where tweekers did their laundry... I drive by this place all the time and it's right by my gym. I walk in and notice theres a popcorn machine, sodas for sale, and a descent size tv playing The Smurfs. Why The Smurfs? My guess is to keep all 4 (seriously, there were 4) of Beybey's kids occupied so wouldn't beat them in public for "akin a foo". This place is like an unholy hybrid of liquor store, Halfway House, coin laundry, and dry cleaners. The CHEAP washing machines are $1.75 (almost DOUBLE what I'm used to paying at Williams Thrifty Wash in Rosemont Plaza) and a quarter for 7 minuets of drying. When my wash cycle was done my clothes were nearly dripping wet, WEAK SAUCE! I put my clothes into separate machines for nearly an hour each (during this time I had the pleasure of listening to a loud dispute between a meth addicted couple about how many quarters they had left) and my towels were STILL not done. This place is great! We dropped off about 30 lbs of laundry and for $ 1.20 per lb it was washed, dried and folded nicely. All like items such as socks, underwear etc were banded together. Our clothes were freshly preserved in plastic smelling fabulous. When we arrived the ladies behind the counter were pleasant and told us we could expect our clothes after 1pm. Took a sport coat here to be cleaned recently. Nice enough people but quite disorganized. I stood at the service counter quite awhile before anyone noticed me. It's mostly a laundromat that just happens to take dry cleaning rather than a designated dry cleaning place (like Swanson's). When I got my jacket back it was "okay" but somewhat sloppily done. The lapels were ironed unevenly and one lapel even had a small crease in it where one isn't supposed to be. Shows a lack of attention to detail. All that said, would I go back? Probably. The snack bar is a definite plus if you have kids but as an adult I could plan ahead if I want to snack on something. The folding room is not really adequate, every folding table doubles as a bar height seating area so generally there are people sitting at each one individually which makes folding on them difficult and they aren't very deep which makes them difficult to use if you can get one. The facility overall is very clean and well lit, they have great AC so it isn't as warm or humid as some laundromats can get. I would definitely recommend it to a friend who has kids or someone that would appreciate the movies they show. read more

I am very dissatisfied with the dry cleaning service and the customer service at Oasis Laundry. I had a bridesmaid dress that needed to be cleaned for an upcoming wedding. They charged me $25 and had the dress for a week. When I picked it up, there were stains all over it (they looked like wet spots, dark and large). When I went back to complain and ask for resolution, a different person was working there. He saw the stains and left a message for the manager. A week later, I still hadn't heard anything from the manager. I called back and they asked me to bring in the dress again and leave it with them so the manager could look at the stains and determine if they were old or new. I had already driven there 3 times and talked to 2 different people (plus left a message for the manager). They need to just refund my $25 and they refuse to. I will never use this service again and I would encourage you to look elsewhere for your dry cleaning needs. read more

Located in a strip mall that I would hesitate about going to at night, the Oasis has large and extra large sized machines. There is one that can do 5 loads at once! (a plus in my book!). The reason why I gave it only 3 stars was because the lady behind the counter was pretty rude to me and my stepdaughter. I don't know if she had had a long day, but I was getting one word answers and no help at all. The other star I took off was because it wasn't very clean in there. Floors were dirty and the machine I was told I could use for my comforter was sticky with fingerprints. I asked the gal if she could wipe it down for me and I got a sigh in return. After all the good reviews, I was pretty disappointed. I would like to feel better about here, but right now, I just can't. read more

3 stars for the self service environment and 5 stars for the drop off service. The self service machines work well and seem reasonably priced but the environment is really bad. They do play movies as other people mentioned but they have the volume up SO loud. While I was there, a movie was playing with a lot of loud violence which was not at all appropriate with kids there. The super loud t.v. combined with the Mom screaming at her poor kid non-stop was too much. I waited in my car. The drop off service is great! I took 2 large trash bags full of clothes in at Noon and they were ready at 4:00, all cleaned and folded for only $20. One minor issue was that my blouses were folded instead of hung but my fault for not requesting that. I highly recommend the drop off service! read more

My husband was just turned away from doing laundry because he was a hour and and a half from closing. He was rudely met and was told they weren't taking any new customers. The person was disrespectful and talked down to him. We have been going here for years and have never been treated with such rude and disrespectful manner. He was furious when he came home. Well the roommate & I procrastinated and tried to find laundry mat where we could start a wash later than 8:30. That's where we came across The Oasis. Now business hours are a big thing for someone who loves to wait until the last minute to do something, so that's where the 3 stars come from. You can get your last wash in by 9:30, and they close at 11. Honestly, I've never been anywhere like this place. They have a snack bar, soda fountain, a ton of games, and an "entertainment center" where they show movies. What comes with those things are kids running around everywhere, trying to fit into washers without someone reprimanding them, and people just hanging out. There are twice as many washers as there are dryers, so getting a dryer, let alone dryers together, is a bit of a hassle. Especially when people are there who look like they haven't done laundry in months. Also, the dryers don't dry very well. I had small loads and it still took over 40 minutes to do dry, which gets expensive at $.25/7 min. Next time, I think I'll get started a bit earlier and go somewhere a bit closer to home. read more

I'll keep this short and sweet... They have multiple options for your washing pleasure..from large washers that my mom always called "big boys" that hold a quadruple plus sized load, to triple loaders, double capacity front loaders (that is what we used), and regular top loaders. They only have one kind of dryer and you pay .25 for 7 minutes but you have option of low, med or high and we were able to comfortable fit 2 loads worth from the double loaders (so 4 ish regular size loads) without over loading the dryer and paid for 49 minutes and everything was dry except for our jeans which were only slightly damp.. They have a nice selection of snacks at the counter, from hot pockets, to freshly popped popcorn to regular candy and chips. They also have a soda fountain and its fairly priced. There are a few arcade machines to play with but we like that they have a flat screen tv in a little seating area that plays family friendly movies all day as well as two other tvs so no matter where you are washing and drying you can see and hear the movies..we did 15 of the double capacity loaders (we hadnt done laundry in a while and cleaned our house and wanted to wash before we donated stuff, plus we have an infant lol)..and while we washed and dried we watched part of up, all of cloudy with a chance of meatballs and part of g.i. joe hehe :) The staff is very friendly and they have a varitety of laundry products to buy behind counter as well as the standard tiny boxes for sale in a vending style machine on the wall. They also offer drop off laundry which we used for our last bag of blankets since we didnt want to spend the rest of the night even though the movies were good and we had my boppy (breastfeeding pillow) dry cleaned...I will update with how good the drop off and dry cleaning service is tommorow after we pick it up since you normally drop off by noon to pick up by 7pm..we dropped our stuff off at 8pm lol.. I didn't know a laundromat could be this nice! Granted, it's not ultra-luxurious but it's very nice inside. There were plenty of machines available although it was a Wednesday morning so it wasn't exactly a busy time. All machines are coin-op (quarters only, I believe but there are machines to get change). The regular washing machines are $2 with an optional "superwash" for $0.25. There are also large and extra large washing machines which I will probably be utilizing in the near future for comforters. Overall, a great place and I'm happy to have found it. I will definitely be coming back when I need to wash my blankets since my at-home washer is too small to handle them. read more

It is widely known and accepted that a majority of people do not like doing laundry, especially when you have to go sit in a laundromat til it's finished. Well if I had to go and sit anywhere to do laundry I would do it here. They have Wi-Fi access, a snack bar, and they show good movies while you wait. I also really like the 6 load washers, it saves money and I can get in and out fast!! Also if none of that interests you it's located in a shopping center with good stores and good food choices. This business will try and scam you. After putting my clothes in the wash I went to get breakfast. When I returned the staff accused me of trying to steal from them by not paying for a wash. They treat customers like criminals and without the common sense to check their own cameras. My mobile banking app clearly showed that I made a transaction but they still refused to believe me. The staff are rude and incompetent, the management is nowhere to be found. I created a yelp account just to try and help you avoid this joke.
