Luckily we CHECK THE MENU BEFOREHAND- so we ordered the WFH (drinks) before he left to go get menus... I appreciate the attention to detail via clipboard which was a nice ode to the name s/o to the marketing team lol.. ) Con-tinued: it took more than 10 minutes for the drinks and no more than two sips(minutes) later our food arrived. On a positive note.... Dear Chef, *kiss* I enjoyed the buffalo flat bread and the fries were delicious, made to order (possibly cut in house? ). My bestie enjoyed her burger which I will be back to try. This place is nice, but the service was subpar at best. When I entered and sat at the bar, not one employee acknowledged I was there. Another customer had to give me her menu and still no one acknowledged I was there. I finally went to a table after 20 mins when my guest arrived and finally got some service. The waiter seemed pretty disinterested in providing good customer service. We felt rushed to order and no one really checked on us during our meal. The food was nothing to write home about. Okay Atlanta, I see what you're trying to do here by incorporating the an office space into a nice restaurant/bar. I love the concept, and the ambiance is spot on. My girls and I came here to get some work done and grab a bite. That's exactly what they offer, bites, and a nice clean coworking space. My first time experience at The Office Bar was very subpar. Mainly because of my server, Jordan. My kale salad and drink was great but I just didn't feel the hospitality. He was not very attentive and more interested in carrying on a conversation with previous customers than taking the time to at least greet me, ask if I needed anything, etc when I initially approached the bar. I had to initiate conversation, ask for water, and menus. I gave him grace and ample time to initiate conversation, even after the other customers left, and he still didn't make his way over to me. I would have brushed off the interaction if I didn't pick up on the fact that he asked other customers surrounding me if they wanted another round of drinks yet he never asked me the same thing during my almost 2 hour stay and closed my tab out with even asking because "he was about to go". I came here at 2pm in the afternoon to get some work done and order lunch. I was excited to come because the place looked cute and a nice work vibe on social. The ambiance is beautiful, however the service is lacking and there's barely anyone here. From the moment I walked in and up to the bartender, he seemed stressed and understaffed and not very friendly. The Asian manager immediately walked over to the table I sat down at and instead of greeting me, instantly put down a reserved sign for 4pm. That's in 2 hours, and I couldn't get a hello or at bare minimum an offer to take my order since the bartender was clearly busy with other customers? My margarita is terrible. Super watery and bitter. I wanted to do a social review on this place, but I've already determined I won't be back. The one star is for the environment, because it's pretty in here.
