Most of the young employees here are kind and try really hard to serve the influx of guests, but a LOT still needs to be improved. Our party waited an hour and a half, and even though there were tables available, they refused to seat anyone. There was no waitlist so the hostess didn't even know who the hell came in before who. As the crowd grew, they finally created one. Rather than utilizing the free tables, they wanted to wait until a specific time before they started taking in names. That definitely led to chaos. Things were so all over the place that they had to turn away people who came in because of the sudden "first come first serve" rule they aboded by instead of taking in names. Finally got seated after eons and our server was a sweetheart. We were very patient because we knew it was still the soft opening, but to our surprise, this restaurant is already fully open. They're just ridiculously unprepared. Management really screwed everyone over. They have a limit of THREE meats that they can bring out regardless of how big your party is. So screw you and your family of 6! Because apparently the kitchen is too overwhelmed to do what they're supposed to do and snap at the servers when they put in more than 3 orders :) Meat was bland. "Ramen bar" was pathetic and was just a bunch of 60cent instant noodles. Sauce serving was a joke (see photo) And their "spicy" meat options are literally just pieces of meat drizzled with sriracha. They marinated NOTHING. $37 per person for this circus is comedic. And if the owners of this place don't want to go bankrupt in a year, I suggest they get their marbles in order, cause this is just ridiculous. Anyway lesson learned. Stick to the kbbq/hotpot place in Greensboro. It tastes better, meat is marinated, cheaper, and the selection is more extensive. I suggest yall do the same. read more

We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday. It was pretty busy. We didn't have to wait very long. We waited around 25-30 mins. They sent a text to our phone to let us know our table was ready. Upon sitting at our table, we were given a complimentary salad with sides of kimchi, fish cake, sprouts and kimchi cucumbers. The sides were tasty. We wanted a variety of dishes to try since this was our first visit. Our waitress was friendly enough. She visited our table often, but disappeared when it was time for the check. The managers visited our table often...a bit too much (five times). I believe the service will work its self out as time progresses. We ordered appetizers chicken wings and dumplings. They didn't have it. We switched to tteokbokki and corn cheese. My friend asked about the Udon noodles and what was the protein? The waitress said it didn't have meat. It arrived with meat. We had to send it back. My dish, the seafood jampong, came next. The appetizers came a little later and then my friend's dish. The spicy seafood jampong was absolutely delicious. It was full of squid, shrimp, crab and mussels. The seafood is not listed on the menu. You will need to ask. The noodles were so good and the spicy broth was spicy and flavorful. The corn cheese was really good. The spicy tteokbokki was the best! I ordered a soju lemonade. It was refreshing. I was pleased with this visit. Amazing!! We've been to K-Pot before, and this place blows that out of the water! Food was amazingly high quality and service was fast and excellent! We got AYCE barbeque and that included some amazing food options and their ramen bar! We also got soju and the dinner came with delicious bonchon (Korean side dishes!). Well, I ordered the salad 3 times and never received. I also ordered specific sides and never got. We got all you can eat and waited for 10 minutes on meat because the servers are so busy they could it keep up. The place is beautiful and the ambiance is amazing but they need to drop the manager who call led us special for asking for refills of the 3 pieces of broccoli we received upon arrival. I have been to multiple Korean BBQ and this is the second worst one. If you want douche as a manager that patronizes the customer then yay go one with yourself but they need to change managers and make sure servers actually listen and bring orders which would be an amazing plus. read more

We checked out One Korean BBQ this Saturday evening. Arrived around 6:45 to an estimated 90 minute wait. We put our name and number on the list and left for a bit. We came back around 7:30 or so and our table was ready. We're not sure if it had just become available, but we had not received a text. Once seated, we were presented with a pretty extensive menu of KBBQ options, authentic Korean appetizers and entrees. The KBBQ is offered as all you can eat or set beef, pork or mixed (beef/pork/shrimp) options. The drink menu includes sake, beer, cocktails, and of course, soju. It did take a few minutes for a server to come over; we're going to chalk that up to the staff working out the kinks in the first weeks. We ordered the haemul pajeon (seafood pancake), the KBBQ combo A (beef/pork/shrimp) and the Jinro Chamisul fresh soju. The combos come with sides of cheese corn (yum!), salad, soup and rice. The banchan were kimchi, bean sprouts, oi muchim (spicy cucumbers), and cold steamed veg. The Pajeon was delicious! Crispy and light pancake full of scallion, shrimp, squid and octopus. All the meat was very high quality. We especially enjoyed the marinated beef. We grilled our own meat, but your server will cook for you, if desired. The banchan were fresh and tasty. We should have asked for more, these portions were small. AYCE guests receive their next choice via a robot server...very cool! Overall we quite enjoyed our first experience at One Korean BBQ in High Point. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We had the opportunity to chat a while with one server who is originally from Seoul. We told him of our trip to Korea last year, and our continuing desire to explore Korean culture. I think he sent the manager, Mr. Jun Lee, over to our table. We spoke with him as well. He is excited to bring an authentic KBBQ experience to High Point. To be honest the food and service was pretty good, I can't recommend this place if you have kids, my 8 year old was technically a couple of inches over the height, never seen it but charging over 40 dollars for my 8 year old was ridiculous. I mentioned it to the manger on the way out, he's said he is a kid and will take care of it, the. Came back and said he can't do anything but ask for him the next time. For two people, you get a lot of meat, but the side dishes were pretty small. This location also has a ramen bar. The wait time was probably the only negative part of my experience. Made a trip to The One and it lived up to its name. We've been to a few Korean bbq places and this one was by far the best. Lenny introduced himself immediately and made sure we had everything we needed to get rolling. Brandon was our server, he was always helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I visited this establishment due to its raving reviews... And it was NOT as expected. I am not a person who typically writes reviews, however, I could not let this restaurant go without voicing my experience. My group was me, my husband, and my two nieces. (13 yrs old and 6 yrs old). My 6 year old niece is a very picky eater, therefore, we went and bought Chik-fil-a for her prior to going to the restaurant. We went in and was told that they cannot accommodate for a table of 4 with only 3 people eating. That my 6 year old niece would HAVE to pay regardless if she eats or not. I was UPSET. I spoke with the host and she had spoken with the manager. It was definitely a problem why my niece couldn't just sit while we ate. Fast forward, they allowed us to sit and dine. ---- THE SERVICE ---- The service was horrible! Our waitress did NOT return to our table. She was helping and returning to MANY tables. (mind you, I have been a server for years so I completely understand when it gets busy -- and it was a weekend) but she did not return to our table. We only got to order two rounds (we did the ALL YOU CAN EAT OPTION) and we had a 30 minute wait between ordering each round! We never got our drinks refilled and hardly got any food. By the time they came back around, we were already frustrated waiting. -- THE WORST PART -- Because my niece did not eat, we had 2. TWO managers come by, stopped. Stared at my niece, pointed at her and asked "Is she okay?..." Listen, the issue wasn't that they asked, if anything, it's a good thing they came to check in on us. But they literally had a minute pause just to stare and make sure she wasn't eating anything. This happened NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE... FOUR times in our duration of sitting there waiting to order our next round of food. They had the time to come check on my niece to ensure she wasn't eating, but NOBODY to take our order. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT WITH RIDICULOUS PRICES FOR ABOUT THE SAME AS KPOT. I will not return. I had the best experience here last night the staff were so kind and sweet the owners actually made us feel comfortable and were very hands on with their guests. The food was amazing and very authentic the pricing for all you can eat is absolutely reasonable. The vibe was great the restaurant itself was so gorgeous and there were plenty of seatings and you're not on top of each other.
