I also got the Lemon Cheesecake Bar (?), which was yummy, but it does have nuts on top. I think a crumble topping would be even better instead. (: The inside feels a bit dated, but the employees definitely seemed to be keeping it clean. As customers came and went, they cleared the dirty tables pretty quickly. The pastrami was griddled and has an old school flavor and style with some nice crunch from the sourdough. A great sandwich overall! Parking in the neighborhood wasn't too hard to find along the street and even if you need to park a block or two away, the neighborhood is nice to walk through.

I placed an order with the cashier and he was a really nice young man. I asked if he knew what was in the salmon bowl and I pointed to a picture on the wall. He told me everything in the bowl without missing a beat. my coworker said "wow you really know your stuff, that's so awesome" and he just shrugged and smiled. There are cookies on this heated surface by the cash register and oh man they looked so good. My food was prepared really fast. I don't even like sweet potatoes and planned to give them to my coworker but they were so good. I ate my entire bowl and saved the cookie for later. Both were so tasty. They also accept phone orders if you're in a bit of a rush. I usually get the pesto eggs and recently got the earl grey latte and both were so good! With so many coffee shops opening up nowadays it's hard to find GOOD lattes, but you can tell they actually use quality beans and focus on the espresso rather than covering it up with low quality syrups. I only wish they were closer, I live in Temecula, but they're worth the drive.
