My sauces at the bottom of my order
    Walter K.

Once again My wife orderd togo from Neals .. Like last time .. they forgot our rolls , they forgot the sauces we requested! they are basically like Mcdonalds ... i guess in todays world employers are jus happy to hire anyone with a pulse, and the little sauce that came with the order was not taped or secured , so they splashed over everthing in the bag ...We also order fajitas for 18$$ and they were well done jerkey.. they did not come with salsa and did not come with rice or beans,,, it was like fajitas from ohio...avoid this place!

Just not very good. Not much more to say about the food. The service was OK and average. I got the chicken fried chicken and it did not seam like it was fresh home made. It looked like and tasted like precooked frozen chicken that was then flash fried. The broccoli was like mushy and everything was tasteless. We had the jalapeño poppers and they seamed as if they had been precooked and then flash fried as well, the jalapeños were very soggy.

Really decent meal for a great price. We all ordered from their menu of specials for the day. I ordered cajun tilapia with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I was very happy with my meal. It came with dessert, so peach cobbler was the winner. It was a little dry but it had a great taste nonetheless. The place was pretty empty and service was excellent. It's not the healthiest place, but I wouldn't be opposed to eating here again if someone else was interested. Lots of deals for senior citizens (age 55+) and 1 kid per adult eats free on Mondays.

A 2-year Michellin star BBQ joint was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I got there around 10am and were lucky enough to grab a number. The number secures your spot in line but don't worry if you show up and they run out, there's a spot on the porch where the non-number line starts. We ordered moist brisket, garlic sausage, and the beef rib. For sides, we went with mac and cheese and beans. Everything was superb! The brisket melted in your mouth, no knife needed. The sausage had a nice snap to it and get great flavor. The bark on the beef rib was *chef's kiss*. The mac and cheese was creamy while the beans had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. The service is also great! While we were eating, staff would regularly check all of the tables to check if anyone needed anything. The staff taking our order also chatted with us about other BBQ spots we've been to. Everything was such a great experience and the quality of the food is 100/10!

The pork ribs are EXCELLENT. Meaty, moist, tender and perfectly seasoned. Also tried the boudin, overall iI liked it, i would have preferred a little less cheese but its a winner. Full of brisket and sausage its pretty damn good. The jalapeño sausage is a great, perfect grind size and coarseness. Sides are above average. For me hands down the cajun potato salad is the best I tried today. My dining partner raved about the collard greens and coleslaw. The smoked beans are delicious and the mac and cheese is pretty good too. The staff is cheerful and helpful as well.

Great value for time/money I stopped in at 3rd coast BBQ on a Thursday at lunchtime. There was a little parking, but not a massive amount. There was almost no line at all when we got there - I think we waited for about 10 min & waited another 10 for our food. The food itself was really good! They had a large menu & I thought the prices were very reasonable. For 3 meats and 3 sides it was about $50. We got two ribs, brisket (mixed) and the cheddar and jalapeño sausage links. Everything was pretty yummy. I thought the brisket was nice and tender while still having some great flavor. Both the fatty and lean brisket were pretty good. The ribs were super tender and the flavor was smoky and sweet. The sausage links were decent. I will say the food wasn't quote corkscrew level, but was still pretty solid. The ambiance here was really great. I liked the outdoor patio vibe & really homey feel. I liked the tin roof (it rained while we were there & I loved the sound!) & there was plenty of seating. Overall, great experience. Especially with a short wait and decent prices - you get pretty solid BBQ. I'll be back here for sure

The brisket and pulled pork were definitly the best items we tried. I thought the boudin and jalapeño sausage were good, but not as awesome. I was surprised by the gumbo - it was definitely different than what I expected, and I thought it was just ok. But the other sides were all yummy. I especially loved the fideo!! The loaded fideo was nice, but the side portion was perfect for me. Overall, good experience. Not as delicious as some rivals, but definitely better prices & less wait time. When I come back I'll probably just get the brisket and pulled pork. I'd get a side of fideo for sure.

However, from the lackluster flavors, poor marbling of the beat, and lack of air conditioning in HOUSTON, I was left feeling quite disappointed. The main star of any Barbecue joint should be the meats that have been meticulously worked on for many hours. When the star of the show are the sides, you have a problem. The baked beans, mac and cheese, collared greens, and Brussels sprouts are delicious, as expected. The brisket was absolutely dried to the point where I couldn't tell if I was wiping my mouth with a napkin or the brisket. Yes, I ordered it fatty. The ribs were terribly marbled. If one bite was a dry portion of the rib, the other bite was an entire glob of fat. Perhaps that's how ribs are sometimes, but my experiences with many other Barbecue joints in Houston were not so much that. Take your hard-earned money and try some of the local mama/papa joints Houston has to offer.
