Sorry for blurry pic. Thick cut bacon was good.
    Cindy F.

TL;DR: Average diner. Average food. Lack of staff. Thick cut bacon is good. Parking: public lot or street parking around the shopping center. Located on the second floor of the Redmond Town Center. There is elevator access nearby as well as an escalator and stairs. Atmosphere: very small old school diner feel. Music quietly playing in the background Service: I was a bit disappointed in the lack of staff during lunch hour on a weekday. I stood in the front for almost 10 minutes with two kids before staff even acknowledged my existence. There was a lady working behind the counter just a few feet away from us the entire time and she didn't even muster a "welcome in, be with you shortly". We were just completely ignored until a different staff member emerged from the back much later to seat us. The place was practically empty except for a handful of occupied tables. Menu: no photos just walls of text -- item names and short descriptions. Pretty straight forward. Food was just your typical breakfast/brunch diner food. Nothing wowed me too much. I did however appreciate the thick cut bacon. For such a "big" diner chain, I was really unimpressed. Kid Friendliness: There is a small kid's menu with crayons and booster seats available upon request.

I've come here before, but this time I came for my birthday coupon ($10 discount). It was on a random workday so I didn't have much time to eat, but they were nice enough to let me order to go instead of scarfing food in the restaurant! There is actually a very close parking lot to this restaurant that I missed, but a good note for next time. Last time I came I didn't get pancakes, and this time I got the corned beef hash which came with optional pancakes. Oh my goodness I really missed out last time! These pancakes were EXCELLENT. I loved how fluffy they were- I tend to not order pancakes because they feel dense and claggy but these were soft and soft and perfect. Also my meal is going to last me two meals, which means this is also a great price haha! I'll bring my friends next time we're looking for an inexpensive brunch place

    More mold

I truly wanted to give OPH a chance, but after multiple awful experiences, I'm done. It sucks because we really did want to enjoy their food. Most recently, I received moldy pancakes -- yes, actual green and blue mold visibly growing on the food. When I called to inform the restaurant, I was told "we can't do anything about it." No apology, no refund, no concern. Just total indifference to serving unsafe, inedible food. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had issues here. On a previous visit, a cockroach crawled out in the bathroom. I should have trusted my gut and not come back after that. Between the mold, pests, and complete lack of accountability, this place is a health hazard and customer service disaster. Never again.

I came here today cause it reminded me of my old job blackbear back in Arizona and it was the decorations, but I'm happy I came over here. The service was amazing. Only waited for like a minute just for the host to sit me down and my service was really nice. She was a good server. She can make a customer service and I'm glad to have a reward program that gives a free drink when you sign up. The menu is not very big, but I like that I got the eggs and meat which include two chicken apple patties, eggs, potatoes and toast for a reasonable price it was all handmade so I love that right there quickly and I got a ice tea as well. I will be coming back over here again. The service was amazing.

    Blueberry pancakes

Felt absolutely compelled to write a review about this place. I understand it was a busy morning/afternoon, but service was lazy, food took insanely long. Pancakes tasted absolutely disgusting, I don't know how blueberry pancakes can taste that SALTY AND BITTER. slightly undercooked as well. Sausage was gross, bacon was insanely salty, overall everything was not good at all, and for the price, that was insane. Never coming back here again, honestly if you're in Bellevue area, go to chaces pancake corral instead.

My favorite breakfast at my favorite spot to have breakfast (Redmond)!

This is my favorite place to have breakfast. The pancakes are absolutely perfect - the flavor, texture, and thickness are all exactly what I look for in a pancake. The bacon is thick, and crispy on the outside while being tender and juicy on the inside - I wish I could get this bacon at the grocery store! The whipped cream is also made in-house, and is thicker than anything you'll find at the grocery store - it's delicious! I love spreading a little of it on my pancakes along with the butter and syrup. The restaurant itself is very clean, and I like the tables - the finish on these tables feels much nicer than the tables found in Maple Valley. The service is very friendly and attentive - I've never had a hard time getting my server's attention. I only have two complaints about this restaurant, and that would be that it's pretty far away from where I live (Renton), and eating here can be a bit pricey, though anytime I can excuse the expense, I do still love eating here.

Wow, wow, wow! That is all I can say about The Original Pancake House! A friend invited me recently to brunch here, and I am so glad I went. This place is incredible. I love the classic country/casual diner vibe of this spot. This is a great breakfast or brunch spot for the whole family! The service was great and speedy, and all of the staff were polite and kind. I had the Georgia pecan pancakes with scrambled eggs, and the seasoned potatoes. All of the food I had was absolutely delicious and full of great flavors. The pancakes were delicious and some of the best pancakes that I have ever had. The seasoned potatoes and eggs also had great flavors. I definitely recommend The Original Pancake House for a delicious breakfast or brunch spot!

It was all a ok!! The service, the wait... the food. Too slow, too long and not that great of a food. Everything took too long: from seating to order to coffee to main dishes. And even to pay tons while because they seemed to be understaffed. Not busy, just understaffed. Ambiance isn't that great either. Needs some love. Our server was a nice lady but it was her alone for the whole place. Everything was a ok.

Sourdough Pancakes with strawberry and tropical syrups.

After exploring the outdoor mall, I was ready for lunch. The Original Pancake House sounded good - I mean who doesn't love breakfast food? I looked at all the options on the menu and decided to try some pancakes. I ordered the sourdough pancakes. I wanted to try their homemade syrups, so my server suggested the tropical syrup as well as the strawberry. The 5 pancakes also came with 2 eggs (I got scrambled). All I can say is yum yum! The pancakes were tasty and both syrups were delicious. My eggs were cooked just right! From the friendly service to the laid back atmosphere to the yummy food - I have no complaints. If you are craving breakfast food, try the Original Pancake House!

No, first come first serve. I waited for 45 mins on a party of 2 on Father's Day. The size of this new place is half big compared to Kirkland location.

They have both great outdoor seating and inviting indoor dining as well. I started with a nice London Fog made with Earl Gray from Smith Teamaker. It comes in one size - large. My Mom got the Eggs Benedict with fresh dill which she enjoyed even though there was a slight hiccup. The English muffin under the eggs was over toasted and was very difficult to cut with a knife. But the staff was very gracious and remade the whole thing in no time. I got the roast chicken with goat cheese sandwich and my wife got the smoked turkey sandwich. Both come on bread they bake themselves. The fresh greens on both really elevated the sandwiches. DERU also has an excellent bakery case. We ordered a slice of the Coconut cake. One bathroom. Rough. Deru Cafe has an extensive menu that covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with outstanding baked goods, pizza, and nightly dinners to go. I haven't had much luck with their produce; I skip them. (FYI: The business uses the Yelp photos to post the latest produce that has arrived, which is perfectly legitimate. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. Our family took advantage of the chicken's ability to maintain their crispiness, even for carry-out. It was OK, though a little confusing. Once we settled on KFC for dinner, our hosts (daughter and son-in-law) suggested carryout from 'The Third Place', which was a little out of the way from where we were. It is the Third restaurant opened by the owner, all Seattle area locations known for her KFC (Shin Sung Korean restaurant with Underground Kitchen and the since closed Yeon's Chicken). The chicken was ordered beforehand, and because it is prepared fresh when ordered, it took a bit of time for the order to be complete. There is a limited amount of sauce choices, so we chose Honey Garlic ($23.99) and the classic Yangnyum ($23.99), both marked as Whole Chicken size. Also a side order of french fries ($7.99) completed the order. The fries were good: nice and hot, heavily battered potatoes, providing a nice amount of carbs to go with the fried chicken. The chicken came with pickled radish (chicken-mu) which for me is a must, and it was good. In terms of the chicken, they were all wings, which isn't what I expected: getting the breast and thigh pieces chopped into bite-size pieces, battered and sauced, is what makes it KFC, vs all wings which is more like a Buffalo wing restaurant. So we still got the expected 14 pieces, but they were all wings (flats and drums). I thought the sauces were fine (intentionally ordered mild), and the chicken did maintain a crunch (though not as shattering as the best we've had).
