It's a really welcome arrival to the food desert that is this office park. The food is fresh and the employees friendly. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich and fried chicken sandwiches are great! Really happy that they are here. If they can start serving decent coffee to compete with Coffee Bean next door, they'd get all my money.

    Chicken Pesto with Garlic Fries

It was my first time here and I was really excited to find a relatively affordable spot for lunch, but was sadly let down. This place has so much potential, but just hit the mark in every item we got. The chicken is so dry and has no flavor. The sandwiches need a lot more sauce to help out with the chicken dryness. The salad was hard to eat because of the chicken too. It has a decent outdoor patio. I gave two stars just because the staff is nice. I want to like this place, but I just don't think I'll be back.

    Chicken Pesto Sandwich

3 Stars for convenience. New location in 909 Building. Sandwich is dry with no flavor. Barely can taste the pesto. Chicken has no flavor. Balsamic Dressing can be better too.

    Banh Mi Sandwich

In my never ending quest for the perfect banh mi, I had to check this spot. I must say, overall pretty impressive. The interesting TWIST was the pretzel bun. Freshly baked, soft & chewy. A nice presentation with juicy chicken breast, chopped pickled veggies & surprisingly mild / barely spicy sliced jalapeños. I suspect seeds removed/reduced. The sriracha Mayo was on the super mild side, very light. I felt the pickled carrots & daikon we not pickled for very long / didn't have a strong pickled flavor. The sesame & ginger on the chicken were barely detectable, but the perfectly juicy layers were fantastic. Thinly sliced cucumbers added a nice bit of depth to the densely packed sandwich. All in, I felt the sandwich was tasty but lacked a certain level of bite, funk & spice that I'm accustomed to on a banh mi. 4 stars.

Clearly not "smooth" for a smoothie

Not happy with the service at all. Ordered a green and a red smoothie to-go for my friend. The server/cashier/face of the establishment along with the barista were not professional chatting the whole time when I was making my order and payment. They kept getting back to their chitty chat.. My friend (on the phone) asked to add almond milk to her red smoothie and I asked that same server to add almond milk to the red smoothie. She appeared annoyed as I'm cutting her off from her chitty chat. She probably was having a good intention suggesting the almond milk wouldn't taste good with the Red (beets and carrots) smoothie but the way she said it baffled me. She clearly didn't want to make any effort to get it done adding milk. In her words: "it will taste NASTY". Not professional for a server to say that we have a nasty taste mixing beets/carrots with almond milk. Other disappointing fact: both smoothies were tasteless and seemed to be filled with a lot of ice! 1/4 left of my green smoothie and it was only crushed ice and fiber from the vegetables (see photo).

Pretty chill spot to come to on a fun Sunday noon to hang or have a business meeting. Their breakfast is pretty tasty. Croissant egg sandwich with potatoes and eggs Benedict. Can't go wrong. They have yummy looking vegan desserts as well. Free spa water in the corner and really friendly service. Dogs are welcome.

You ain't got to "Twist" my arm to eat here! This place is amazing! Although I've never actually been to the location, I've had catered lunch several times and it never disappoints. You won't get anything less than the freshest ingredients, combined to make the best salads, sandwiches and desserts! And make sure you get the brussel sprouts, SO good! The catering delivery staff is the best! So sweet and friendly and helpful! Do yourselves a favor and have your next event catered from Twist or come in and dine!

My go to is the Seoul bowl it's so good and perfectly marinated while still being health conscious 5/5. The newer tikka masala has been a fav lately- it's veggie based but the spices and flavor are on point, just as delicious as a non-vegan dish! I think with soy meat it could be even better, I'll see if that's an option next time, but this was 4.5/5. West coast shrimp side is really satisfying and savory. I rly should try more items here but it's hard to deviate from my favs haha. |[ s i p ]| Drinks are also decent but the star for me here is the food. I really look forward to more new food items to come. |[ n o t e s ]| Parking lot is small and kinda hit or miss but it's worth it. :) Ambiance- cute brunch spot while still health conscious.

While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.

My order: * The Farm Club: You really can't go wrong with this one. The pickled red onions and herb aioli give it such a nice tang compared to a standard club sandwich. The turkey was high-quality and the bread held up perfectly. * Spicy Curried Couscous: I had to grab a side of their signature couscous, and it didn't disappoint. It has that signature roasted cauliflower and just the right amount of spice to balance out the sandwich. It's easily one of the best sides on their menu. The highlight of this visit was definitely sitting outside (inside is ok, a bit noisy and crowded). The patio area is clean, spacious, and perfect for catching some sun while you eat but most tables are shaded by umbrellas. Even though it's right off PCH, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy the El Segundo breeze. A couple Tips: * Parking: The plaza can get a little tight during the peak lunch hour, so give yourself a few extra minutes or try to arrive just before the 12:00 PM rush. * Ordering: If you're in a hurry, their mobile pickup is always super seamless at this location and can help you get in and out or you can take your food and eat in the park like courtyard area. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving a solid sandwich and some fresh air!

Pretty fine. Not bad. Not fantastic. But good. With the price of everything else these days ($25 for 2 double-doubles, 2 fries and a shake...). The salmon was ok. It doesn't say fresh or frozen salmon anywhere, or if it's wild or farmed. I'm guessing it's frozen and farmed. The blackened flavor helps to hide that. The rest of the bowl was pretty good. The quinoa/rice was pretty tasty. The salad was ok, but I'm not a salad lover. Avocado, fresh. Salad dressing, VERY lemony if that's your thing. Brownie was slightly dry but also delicious cuz it's a brownie. It's gluten-free after all. The best part? It's just kind of a mellow meal. There's a lot of places to eat out in South Bay, but I don't always want pizza or sushi or burgers or steak. Sometimes I just want some chill food that's real and good, that's easy to get and easy to take home and this fits the bill! Pick-up is easy. I love the little area it's in, there's plenty of parking if you drive around. And there's a nice place to sit outside in the back/on the side with CLEAN tables and umbrellas. Honestly, so chill and quiet. Enjoyable. All in all, we'll be back.

My wife and myself both ordered from here for our date night, we BOTH got Food Poisoning from this TERRIBLE place I will never ever consider again. Violently throwing up OFF 2 DIFFERENT DISHES! 2 Different people on 2 Different Dishes says THIS PLACE IS NOT CLEAN! Furthermore their reviews on Google have a man claiming he knows 4 different people who were Food Poisoned from this place! Tons of people complaining about Under Cooked Chicken and quality of food going down! I only review the best of thee best spots and the worst of the worst places and Goop Kitchen is by far the worst place I have ever eaten at in El Segundo. You have been warned, so if you feel you want to ignore my review and take your chances, then by all means see it yourself! I would NEVER trash a restaurant as I respect the people who serve and make food, but to have food poisoning and have a wife that begs you to eat here, and after years of not eating here then eating here again... and getting poisoned a 2nd time is ridiculous!!!! Goop Kitchen you have some explaining to do, my wife has Multiple Sclerosis and what you served us both... is out of this world bad. I have never EVER felt this bad from food poison and I almost took my wife to the Emergency Room. I am going to report this to the health department because 2 Food Poisonings and then seeing the Google review of the man who got food poisoning and knows 4 others who were poisoned says EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW. Ruined my weekend, ruined my date night... ruined my Sunday... wasted my money. Do you think I'm mad, mad isn't the word for it and I hope the owners stomach churns as he reads this! I will never stop, what they did to us is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Explain Goop Kitchen, what is your major malfunction?! Yelp wants to know how I would rate my experience.. NEGATIVE 5 STARS. This past weekend was their 22 year anniversary celebration. Fried Chicken night, here we come!! Sadly, we were too late, and they'd run out. (Insert crying emoji, but we'll get earlier reservations next year) Instead, we (over) ordered our favorites so we'd have plenty of leftovers. We've never had an issue with the delivery, hot, tasty, plentiful. But this, THIS, was next level. Even hotter, more flavor, larger portions!! Perfectly cooked shrimp with Pad See Ew, fried tofu in the green curry, the fan fave when tigers cry Tri-tip, plus much more. We were blown away. Everyone was super friendly, it felt like we were in a friend's house with family. And for what was a very busy night, service was spot on, and really fast. Added bonus: for the celebration, there was a "Photo Booth" where we got a caricature drawn of us, and then, we got to spin a prize wheel. We won a small box of house made Mango Sticky Rice Macrons. Ooooh, boy were they delicious!! ATTENTION AYARA, put these on the menu for regular ordering. It will make the whole world a better place. If you've made it this far, go to Ayara, the hospitality, service, and delicious food are absolutely worth it.
