Excellent food with interesting preparations. The menu is small but they are willing to make alterations to suit your needs. Open seasonally and a bit pricy but we'll worth it..

We've been wanting to eat here for years and finally made it. We are so glad we did! We ordered take-out because we had our dog with us. The scallops appetizer was great. I liked the roasted cauliflower with tahini and pineapple hoisin appetizer a lot. My husband enjoyed the hangar steak--it was huge, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My favorite was the pork saltam bucco. The meat was so tender that it was literally falling off the bone. The sauce and garlic mashed potatoes were rich and yummy. The owner and staff were extremely friendly from when we placed our order to the time we spent there. The owner even carried our food for me to the car. The mixed fruit pie was unique and fabulous. I'm so happy there is a restaurant of this quality in the area. The decor is charming and welcoming. We'll be back in the summer.

Long tiMe customer gone for good. You're busy and I get it - that's great. We were seated at 7:15 for a 7:00 reservation - I'm willing to be understanding. But when all five other tables in the room have had attention from wait staff, and my husband and I are ignored for 20 minutes as if we're invisible, do you think we'll ever come back? Nope. We will spend our money elsewhere, at restaurants that don't ignore us. Never again. EDIT: When we walked out we told Mark that $ was on the table for drinks we got at the bar. He made eye contact and said ok. He only seems concerned and responsive now that I've posted negative reviews on social media. Yes...we were ignored. Several servers waited on five other tables, including a six-top right next to us. We got glances from the servers but nothing more. In the future they should at least ask each other or management if anyone had the table...

First time at The Owl at Twilight..and I am sorry it took us so long to visit. It was amazing! Delicious food, friendly owner and wait staff. We will definitely be back soon. We celebrated our 10th anniversary and it was perfect. Thank you Mark and Bridget! Maybe we will see you in Delray or Key West.

We saved this restaurant for our last night in nearby North Creek. A truly special occasion. Leave room for a three course meal with drinks because this, my fellow Yelpers, is a place to savor a delicious meal with friends and/or family. Proprietor Mark was able to fit my family in for a reservation on the outdoor screened porch (great as it was raining and probably even on a clear night great because of skeeters). We could see a grove of trees lit with fairy lights in the distance with picnic tables underneath. There are a couple of themes here: the eponymous owls and key west (exhibited in the amazing collection of coasters in every table and the great menu of craft cocktails) as well as comfy Adirondack style deluxe. We had to wait out front for a while before our table was ready and enjoyed our Aperol Spritzes as the sun set. We could see the lovely indoor dining room as we passed through to the porch. The menu changes weekly and the ingredients and offered dishes change as well. They are open to requests to make a meal vegetarian or pescatarian. We had the spinach watermelon pistachio salad, the kale Caesar, lemon cream fettuccine (subbing shrimp for chicken), herb crusted grouper with saffron citrus aioli, and key lime mousse. Definitely considered some of the options for meat eaters too and definitely from what we could see of other tables, everyone's choices looked delicious. Wide selection of wines by the glass were served at perfect temperature. Even the quality of the butter served with the bread basket was notable. Many people were there: preppy old timers dressed for cocktail hour, a youthful punk couple in love, families with kids on best behavior (our teen hadn't really had a dining experience like this and I think she will never forget this); folks off a kayak trip, and everyone having an awesome time with the nicest staff ever and Mark coming over to check in. We are sad to not live closer as we would love to return for some of their special events including special meals with selected wines, cigar and spirit tastings, and live entertainment. Though it may be a long time to wait-we will be back! And if you go -- no there is no WiFi but put down your phones and enjoy the meal while chatting with your companions. You can do it! Lol.

There are dart boards and shuffleboard table, which were not in use. Our server was attentive and friendly, as were other staff we interacted with. Beer menu is extensive as you would imagine from the name, and they also have a separate cocktail menu (but we did try). Food was very good. I had The Cask. As long as you like goat cheese, you should like this sandwich. I loved it. Other meals included the pulled pork sandwich and Reuben. All were good. The order of garlic and rosemary fries are very crispy - good for snack or just pair with some beers. Overall, decent place and service. I would return!

We stumbled in for a late bite on a quiet winter carnival weekend and there were only a handful of patrons, mostly locals sitting at the bar. The bartender (and our server) Edward was friendly and kept an eye on us and made sure we had what we needed. The food is solidly average pub fare, not bad and perfectly serviceable, but it shouldn't be your primary objective if you're a foodie hunter like me. But on a main drag littered mostly with mediocre bar-restaurants charging tourist prices for tourist indifference, I'll take "just fine" as a win. I'm not much of a drinker but my husband liked his can of Copper Legend lager so much that he ordered another one to go. The location is conveniently central especially if you're staying on Canada St. or doing activities at the lake.

This place was a-okay!…read more Stopped in for dinner one evening on a particularly cold night and was grateful for the comfortable atmosphere of this pub & grill. On entry, it feels a bit like you're in the jungle with several hanging plants making for a very unique entryway. We were seated immediately in a booth towards the front of the restaurant, somewhat close by to a stove. We were a bit close to the front door so I'll admit my feet were fairly chilly by the end of the meal. Waitstaff were attentive and we had drinks in no time. I enjoyed a Maple Cream Stout special they had advertised on a sign outside. Glad it caught my eye on the way in as I didn't see it advertised in any of their menus. For food we wanted to sample a few things and ordered buffalo wings, potstickers, fish and chips, and a specialty salad with glazed walnuts, dried cranberries, feta, and a raspberry vinaigrette. Everything was tasty but I can't say it reached stand out territory. For example, the wings had good spice but were a bit on the slimy side. The salad was my favorite out of everything, very hearty and a great flavor profile. I can see why people enjoy this cozy pub. It's a good option in town.

Been here I believe four times now. It's a hit every time!!…read more First time I went was on an invitation, as I wasn't expecting much from a brewery. I'm not too crazy about beer, and what I'd seen from the menu seemed like mostly burgers which I also find boring. Was very happy and surprised on my first visit to find they have creative and delicious cocktails, which are more up my alley when it comes to drinks. Also this first time, I got the truffle pizza, which was *phenomenal*!! Since then, have been back 3 more times, once for a drink and to try the cucumber salad, which also sounded incredible, to also compare to a similar one I make at home. Loved it!!! Then the next two times, went with my best friend. Both times he got a different burger, while I spent most of my split tab enjoying a couple drinks. When we're not trying to spend too much, this place has generous sides of fries which are also *incredible* and cheap, so you can fill up on those while enjoying the specialty drinks So I'd say it's really nice for all sorts of tastes, and has a budget friendly food workaround too if you're more there for drinks first, as I outlined above. Highly recommend, and can't wait to be back again soon!!!!

Cocktail and beer selections are great. Five stars to the blood orange margarita. The bad: You can't make a reservation and the waitlist is frustrating sometimes. Parking is challenging. Also, atmosphere is typically loud making it hard to have a conversation. Overall, we like it for a quick bite and will definitely go back.
