Another dear friend of mine had an upcoming birthday and would be away on a cruise so we opted to dine here to celebrate. We sat outside on the covered patio and enjoyed lupper. We shared a variety of items and started with the Parker House bread which is paired with an insanely delicious caramelized onion butter and a trio of tuna poke tacos. Both of these appetizers were superb! The billowy soft roll blanketed in the onion butter was dreamy and the tuna inside the tacos was well flavored and very fresh. Moreover, the combination of textures: the crispy taco shell with soft tuna harmonized extremely well. After we enjoyed the starters, we shared the seasonal chopped salad. The vinaigrette was magnificent and the sweet potatoes were roasted to perfection and danced delightfully with the cranberries and goat cheese. Finally, we shared the Clubhouse California sandwich and fries which we had the kitchen split for us. The sandwich featured toasted multigrain bread with a grilled chicken breast, gruyère, avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a sriracha aïoli. We requested this be held on the side and served along with a side of honey mustard. Unfortunately, there was an error and this didn't occur. I absolutely detest mayonnaise which is why I preferred it be served on the side just in case I could taste it. Luckily, I didn't mind the aïoli being I didn't taste any mayonnaise. It also had a gentle kick due to the sriracha that paired well with the accompanying ingredients. We washed down our meals with club soda paired with lime and good ole fashioned H20. I had mentioned to our server Morgan that it was my friend's birthday so after our meal she and her team brought out a hot brownie with vanilla ice cream and a candle and sang "Happy Birthday." It was such a special touch and very appreciated. Our dining experience was delightful and I will definitely return. The inside of the restaurant along with the bar is beautiful offering great views and the restroom was very clean. If you are not a member and found this venue advertised on The Knot, proceed with caution…read more When researching, it should have been a red flag that there are very few recent wedding reviews since 2023, many 5-star ratings without explanations, and one consistent negative comment stating the venue is beautiful but the event coordinator, Pat Saylor, is poor at communication. Unfortunately, that review proved accurate. Pat is the only event coordinator for the clubhouse. She frequently reassures you that she is on top of things, but emails and calls often go unanswered and responses are delayed until multiple follow-ups are made. Communication is inconsistent at best. If you speak with Gwyn, the COO, you may receive answers that differ from what Pat previously told you. When these discrepancies are pointed out, you are redirected back to Pat for clarification. Non-members should also be aware that placing a date "on hold" offers little security. Despite being told we had the right of refusal if another party was interested, our held date was ultimately given to a club member without alternative dates being offered. Overall, non-members do not appear to be a priority. This venue may be beautiful, but the lack of communication and organization can be a significant issue. I hope this review helps other non-members avoid wasting time and instead choose a venue that values their business.

From the moment of arrival to departure, we were treated very well. The Ben is breathtakingly decorated with greenery and art design to mimic the appearance and beauty of what Palm Beach represents. At check in, Angelina provided us with complimentary spring water in beautifully designed water boxes and our wristband room keys. The complimentary Paloma Angelina presented was sinfully delicious. What a great way to start our stay. Our waterfront rooms faced the Palm Harbor Marina with views overlooking the harbor, Codes (stainless steel and glass sculptures), and a view of Palm Beach Island and the Intracoastal Waterway. In room amenities included thick plush towels, soft robes and slippers. Closets also included a safe, full size ironing board, iron, and a steamer. Two large umbrellas hung in the closet in case of rainy weather. The bar and refrigerator were stocked with alcohol, snacks, and more water. The beds are comfortable and featured sheets stitched with The Ben's name and logo. Hotel amenities included a rooftop pool, glass elevator, gym, and room service. Complimentary bikes and shuttle services are available. Bruno, a Circuit vehicle, provides rides exclusively for The Ben guests anywhere within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. There is also a Book Butler that can bring you a curated and rotated book delivered on a silver platter! Tatianna, at the Front Desk, answered questions and provided good breakfast recommendations. Kevin, Bell Services, was also helpful. He made sure I had all the information on how to schedule a ride with Bruno and that we had water boxes for our trip and activities we had planned for the day. Kevin also provided good recommendations for places to visit and things to do. I would not hesitate staying at the Ben next time I am in the West Palm Beach. I am so happy we "found" this hotel! Ben Trovato!
