When I decided my garish paint in the living room had to go he said to Go to sherwin-Williams. It's way smaller than Home Depot or lowes but man they pack a lot of product in that small Space. I'm not sure what the parking issue is since they have a decent sized lot and it's never that busy that you can't find a spot. I go in no problem and this was during miserable spring five o clock traffic. I went in and started to peruse paint. This is where this place shines. Within a few moments of my arrival an employee came over and said hello and asked if I needed help. I said I was fine just looking for paint. Most people would have left it at that and said ok let me know if you need help. Not this guy ! He said well what are you painting ? I said my Living room. He asked what color I had and when I told him I wanted to change my very bright room he said to Me that the colors I had chosen were going to be too bright and showed me the ones that would be more muted. He also pointed out some Design brochures to see some color Scheme options. Wow. I work for a very customer oriented company and this is exactly how we are taught to " qualify " and "recommend " what they need. This man did just that. There's ample parking, but getting into the lot can be tricky on a weekend if you are unfamiliar with Mineral Spring Avenue. The store is very clean and well-stocked. The people there were very friendly and you can tell that they knew their paint. I also appreciate that the cashier did not try to oversell us; in fact, he talked us out of buying more! We originally thought we would need three cans for the kitchen, and he suggested we buy only two. Boy was he right! We ended up needing only one can, so three would have been overkill. The whole shopping experience was quick and easy. The paint was a bit pricey, even with a coupon, but it was worth it. The quality of the paint is much better and in a high-traffic area like the kitchen we both feel better knowing that we went with a more durable paint!

The friendly staff are helpful and can point you in the right direction for what you need. There's an information desk to the left when you walk in and you can usually ask questions there, if there's no one there the cashiers can help. They do so many different things that I didn't know about - they rent power tools and it's super affordable (I rented a sander for 4 hrs for $10), they repair screen doors, they have garden supplies...the list goes on. I'm super happy with the repair they did on my screen door so I'm including a picture.

The containers attached to the back wall ,of wood screws, was easily accessible, but sadly previous customers had made a mess of /fun ... mixing up the different sizes and styles. So, we decided that we would invest some time, effort, and money in updating his room to create a cool, age appropriate space for him. He picked a theme, and while we were rearranging the furniture, it was obvious that we needed to start the transformation by applying a fresh coat of paint to the walls. We visited the shop on Newport Avenue and had the whole place to ourselves. We picked out a few swatches, brought them home to see them in the everyday lighting in our house, and picked the perfect color. We returned to the shop and were still the only customers inside. We selected washable and durable interior paint that should hold up well in a teenagers room and had two cans mixed up. We also pick up spackle and a paint roller kit to make the task as easy and foolproof as possible. The young man who assisted us was helpful and friendly and took excellent care of us.

I was an employee, and witnessed this, and questioned owner, he tried to tell me I was mistaken, it belonged to him, until a clients house was burglarized 2 days after he finished painting their house. they had sold their house, and bought another, (house we painted) they had very expensive equipment and all their belongings stored in garage until remodeling completed. He didnt even show up to receive second half of payment! guilty? definitely! I immedietly quit he owed me 500$ pay and refused to pay me what he owes me. weeks prior he never wanted to pay me for the hours he owed me! He deducted hours for no reason. Please do not hire this man!
