Didn't know until recently that The Pan opened a location on Artesia Blvd ... was excited to try it out and turned out to be an excellent decision! Our breakfast experience today was great: - parking is plentiful compared to Western Ave location - wasn't crowded at all at 8am! Thought it would be but pleasantly surprised! - our server Victoria was GREAT! She was courteous and attentive and checked on us multiple times! A+ for her! - we tried the veggie omelette and meat lovers omelette and we loved it! Plenty of good veggies and plenty of delicious meat! And the hash brown were also delicious ... not overcooked and not burnt ... just the right crispness and taste! Looking forward to going back to this location!! read more

I ordered a Pizza for delivery abour 2hrs before my requested delivery time, which was supposed to be 530p. I received a message from Chow Now that it would not arrive till 548pm. At 5 min before 6p when pizza had not arrived I called The Pan and was advised driver from Chow Now picked it up 15 min prior. Pizza still had yet to arrive at 610p. Again, I called the Pan and was basically told it was out of their hands once Chow Now picked it up. I was astonished that The Pan would use a third party, but not take responsibility for poor service. A young lady I spoke with did advise she would try to reach out to Chow Now and her manager. Nothing was resolved immediately. The Pizza arrived at 616p and was barely warm. I advised Carrie, the driver that I would be expecting a full refund and that she would not be getting a tip. We came here for breakfast on a Sunday. They were SLAMMED and I think down one person. But the wait notification system with Yelp integration is excellent. And the staff was awesome! I've been here many times so no surprises on the great food. I had a signature scramble. It was delish. One suggestion though... buy a different kind of ranch dressing. The one you have is HORRENDOUS! It tastes cheap, watery and messes up the dish! It ruined my boo's meal because he made the mistake of dumping it on before tasting it. One of my favorite spots to have breakfast. This location to me, has the best service and atmosphere. Christina was our server this time and she was fantastic. The food was superb and it was like eating at home. Terrible customer service. I've been to their main location and I really enjoy the food which is why we decided to come to this one since the line was shorter. I checked in on Yelp to join the waitlist since it was a 45min wait. My party of 3 shows up before our table was ready but as soon as we get there they tell us that they're closing so they deny us service. I showed them the waitlist and they didn't care. They said they had cancelled all Yelp waitlists but I never got a notification. I had reserved our spot an hour ahead of time and it wasn't 1pm yet so any professional restaurant would've taken us, especially since they failed to communicate. The manager didn't even have the decency to come speak to us in person. This place is getting less and less popular and I can see why. Don't bother coming here; there are plenty of other brunch spots with good food and better service. read more

Have been to the western location more than a few times and at this location on artesia blvd two times. The artesia location has messed up my order, and my wifes order both times we have been here. I ordered my steak medium rare and received it well done on both visits. My wife ordered chorizo chilaquiles and got chicken chilaquiles. The food is delicious. I had the French toast with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and a side of breakfast potatoes. Everything was superb. The butter that they put on top of the French toast isn't really butter, it's like butter frosting. Tastes like cream cheese frosting and you don't need syrup for the French toast. Now the service is off. When I walked in, there was a group of three women who were waiting to be seated but they were sitting in the waiting area on the take out side. I did not know that they had not been greeted. I just simply walked to the podium and waited for 5 minutes for the host to greet me. The host comes over and greets me and asked how many? It was just me but I just so happen to look over my left shoulder and saw one of the women from the group of three stand up. I asked her "have you not been taken care of?" She stated "No. We've been here for 10-15 min and she (host) just kept walking pass like we don't exist." So I stepped to the side so they could be seated first. The three ladies asked for a booth and the host looked around the restaurant and stated "there's no booths available, all we have are tables." So, the one young lady who was basically the speaker of the group asked, "Can we get a booth once one opens?" The host shook her head "yes" and verbally said "Yes." Not even 30 seconds pass and a couple leaves a booth and exits the building. Instantly another woman from the group asked, "now there's one available can we move there?" The manager tells them "We have strict rules and regulations here and one of them is once we sit you down, you cannot be moved. When that happens it slows us down," with a firm tone. The 3 ladies didn't appreciate the attitude and I just sat there surprised because the three women were told they could move and now they were being handled in the most arrogant way. One of the three ladies asked if they could speak with the manager (not knowing she was the manager) and the manager responded in a pompous way "I am the manager." So the same young lady asked "well who's over you because I would like to talk to them." The manager whips out her order book and states "No, there's no one over me," and proceeded to turn to me to take my order. The three girls stood up after one after a 3 second agreement of leaving the establishment. They just said, "We will just go some where else." The manager threw her hands up in a "I don't care" gesture and replied "That's fine," turned to me and said "do you need more time or are you ready to order. I was so thrown at this drama I just shook my head yes then verbally said "wait, I'm sorry I need more time but I will take an orange juice." There was two guys having lunch and asked "where are our sistahs going?" The manager says "Some people just don't like to follow rules and they chose to leave because they are those kind of people." The men looked at me and I told them "Noooo, that's not what just happened." I explained to them what really happened (all this I just typed) and they were stunned. Jaws were dropped. One picked up his jaw and said "Well let's not talk about it before they spit in our food." We laughed and carried on. My waiter was cool tho, I don't remember his name but he was cool. One of my favorite place to eat in Gardena. Vermont and Rosecrans is pick up only to Covid. The specialty pancakes are always delicious. The lemonade are always on point. My kids love the pizza. We went to their Western Ave location and found out they opened this location. We happily drove the short distance to avoid the wait. The new location has a much nicer dining room and the same menu. Almost everyone with me wanted the signature dishes, The Original Loaded Hash Browns. I went for the Pastrami and Egg Sandwich - Pastrami, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, 2 over medium eggs, hash browns and mustard on grilled rye bread - oh my oh my. This is why the Western location is always jam packed! The Loaded Hash Brown was excellent as always. We had a debate whether the portion was a bit smaller at this location... from humongo to just huge? I thought it looked the same. Next time? I've been here multiple times and tried multiple items on the menu such as the french toast, bbq chicken salad, philly cheesesteak, loaded hash and everything I tried was really good! Everything was full of flavor and delicious. If you're going for the healthy side, I would definitely recommend the bbq chicken salad. They toss the sauce in the salad and it could be a lot for those that want little sauce. So, just ask for the sauce on the side! The french toast was very sweet as it's filled in the center. We ordered as soon as we sat down and had to wait 45 mins for our food just to be incorrect. Had to send the food back again. I ordered chorizo as a topping and hot chicken, my husband ordered his steak medium rare and had it overcooked. I never recieved my pancakes either while all this happened. Servers just standing in the back not walking the floor and interracting with guests. We notices 90% of the tables had no food on them. The people before us were still waiting for their meals. Pizza I ordered was on point, tasty and did not skimp on ingredients. But now online pizza order is lousy, bland and lacks ingredient. They always missed my deep dish order that came as regular pan pizza and once it came as thin crust. Long time Pan patrons here. This location falls far from the mark compared to the original and lomita locations. - Portions are noticeably smaller. Like kid sized portions compared what I've ordered in the last 7 years. Ordered the Loaded Hash. I left hungry. - Order accuracy and timing are just off. The waitress- who was incredibly polite repeated no onions. Order had onions. After having to ask twice, my daughter's waffles arrived AFTER we all finished our meals. Not an isolated experience. The table next to us, had wrongs eggs, then wrong French toast... - Charged for a coffee we didn't order. - Gratuity was automatically added for a party of 3. WTH? C'mon Pan peeps! Excellent place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I highly recommend their shrimp and grits with eggs breakfast. Having been to New Orleans, this place has shrimp and grits that is a step up. I have never been disappointed there with anything on their menu. Go early on the weekends. The wait is over an hour at times. My only complaint is that you cannot get anyone on the phone so as to put your name on their wait list. This is something they need to address. Another favorite restaurant of ours, Kura Revolving Sushi, has a phone app and wait program that puts you in a queuing system. It tells customers the length of wait and your waiting order. Perhaps The Pan should look into this app. They and their customers would benefit tremendously if they had this in place. read more

They had the nerve to tell my family they only have 7 menus so he could not see one until our party was sat...after a 30 min wait in a small to go section, we were able to dine.
