Highly recommend for quick food! I visited the Pantry multiple times during my stay in Laguna! I even brought co workers there after I had already been there and bought my food! Staff was great! One time I ordered an iced coffee ($2.50 for med!) and bagel with cream cheese ($4). The iced coffee was great and staff was very accommodating trying to make it to my liking! And cheaper than Dunkin...which Laguna doesn't have, but just saying! My brother ordered a breakfast burrito ($12). He enjoyed it and it was large and filling. He went back the next day and got the same thing again! The Pantry also has premade salads and sandwiches to go. Again, at great prices. I returned later in the day for lunch! My salad was $8.50. Great salad, ate the whole thing. Loved being able to grab something to take back to the hotel and not have to dine in. There's an outdoor patio to sit and eat if you'd like. Cutest little place where you can sit and look at a piece of the ocean. They have a small but delicious menus, lots of pastries and a lot of coffee drinks to choose from. In their fridge they have mason jar mixed cocktails and other assorted drinks and beers. They have a good sized wine section as well. So listen... we are a family of 5 (kids 1yr to 9yr) and we originally went across the street to Heidelberg Cafe but all tables were busy so we walked here. And it did NOT disappoint. The outdoor sitting was comfortable, the vanilla latte was delish!! Breakfast burrito was huge and the housemade salsa was Kids loved the Nutella waffle too! Perfect little spot for breakfast. My sister and I were looking for a place to have lunch on New Years Day. We were so happy to find that The Pantry was open. It was very busy because not many places were open. We had our standard Bernedoodle with us and we were so happy to learn that the Pantry and Sapphire next door are dog friendly. We found a table and each ordered the American Wagyu Beef Burger which has Spanish cheddar cheese, sweet gem lettuce, house made pickles, shaved onion, hot house tomato, secret sauce, challah bun. We added the hand cut herb fries. Wow, the burgers were huge and delicious and the fries are amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly. We ended up taking half of our food home because it was just too much to eat. The patio is spacious and the tables have umbrellas to shield you from the sun and there are patio heaters for the chilly mornings and evenings. I had heard this was a pretty decent place so I took my daughter there on Labor Day.we were both extremely disappointed. I ordered the pantry plate and was presented with overcooked dry scrambled eggs , a serving of bacon that literally crumbled when you picked it up. A dry sausage patty and toast served with no butter or any option . The server came and dropped off the food and never returned . My Daughter ordered the burrito which was better but not great and very dry. I assume that maybe this was a holiday issue and perhaps short staffed . Came to a car show in this area and found this spot through Yelp....gotta say it's five stars all around! Staff were very friendly - food service was quick! Seating is all outdoor but don't be alarmed, there are heat lamps outside so you'll be cozy while eating. Parking can be found on the side streets - we parked two/three blocks down which is fine after you finish eating - you're going to need to walk haha the food was amazing, fresh, and delicious!! We got the tacos which was packed and filling; we ordered the avocado toast which is just one bread slice - very tasty; and a vegan burrito which was absolutely delicious. Had to hang out here while I waited for some friends who were stuck in LA traffic. Luckily this was a great late morning spot - delicious pastries, good avo toast and strong mason jar cocktails. The staff were very polite and on top of things. I had questions about where to sit, what was in the cocktails, where the restroom was, etc...and the staff were so helpful. Good people! Note that you can sit on the patio and they will bring your food to you. I didn't wanna be right in the sun and on the patio where it was busy and loud, so I stayed inside... where I was suprised that a lil cafe called The Pantry had so much wine! I was literally sitting inside in the corner just looking at all the bottles wine in the refrigerator and on display. If you have time you can browse and find a good CA wine you're into. Today, I went to The Pantry for dessert and tea. I ordered a at the counter and the girl working the register had her head in the clouds. I took my tea to my seat and waited for my dessert to arrive. I watched her for about 15 minutes then 20 minutes passed I said, excuse me, where is my banana bread? She replied oops I forgot as I was seated at a small table across from her staring. After I ate I ordered dessert to go for my family, she rang up my order and began to pack the items. When I arrived home I discovered she placed an unknown dessert in my box and NOT what I ordered. At first I thought the misleading sign to the restaurant was not too bad as you can't see the pantry sign until you walk up to the building. But once you get in there the is a nice young man that tells you that seating is not available til 10a for the restaurant so that from 7a to approximately 920a you may be ok because around 920a you will be kicked out of the patio. Drinks and food were very generic all tasted pre packaged. The service was not great and if you need to use the restroom you can only acces their customer restroom at 10a Sadly disappointed in this place read more

Came here to get a quick bite to eat and a latte to go as me and my partner were on the way to crystal cove state park. The location is on a busy street but we managed to get street parking which isn't free but it was ok for us since we were going to be there long anyway. The pantry is joined in the same building as a different restaurant so keep your eyes peeled! As we went inside, we noticed that we happened to beat the crowd because once we put in our order, more people came. The cashier seemed a little cold with her customer service but it's whatever, maybe she was having a bad morning so I brushed it off. We waited 10-15 minutes for a breakfast burrito. The iced coffee came in 5, which was cool. The latte was pretty good, it more bitter than it was sweet but personally I'd rather it be that way than the other way around. The burrito was pretty good, but not 'wow amazing'. The egg inside was a little too wet for me but the salsa it came with was BOMB! This place is a cute tiny place in the Pottery Plaza at downtown Laguna. Kind of hard to find at first because it is hidden amongst the other restaurants and retail. I really only had their breakfast burrito (great when you are hungover), but I've probably come for that specific burrito way too many times. All the staff are friendly there and their turn around time for food is quite fast. Best to call and order ahead of time to pick up in case you are not a resident there as Laguna is always a struggle to find parking. The plaza has a surplus of outdoor seating where you can sit and eat food from multiple places at once. It is a great atmosphere and you can people watch the busy street. Back to the burrito. This thing got chorizo, avocado, fluffy eggs, and cheese. Fantastic and ASK FOR AN EXTRA salsa cuz it is absolutely delicious. My wife and I live in town, and this is one of our favorite places to grab a quick, yet healthy and delicious breakfast items. She usually gets the avocado toast. I always order their veggie burrito with a side of bacon to share with her. Grab a few sides of their red salsa as you'll need it for the burrito. It's amazing. They have ample outdoor seating (separate from the Sapphire side) and a few tables indoors. It's first come first serve, walk up to order at the register counter. They and I have a nice selection of pre-made salads, sandwiches, and wraps for on the go fare in their cold fridge. Great way to grab a good fresh meal to take to the beach. Their parent restaurant next door, Sapphire, is also one of our favorites for dinner. I highly recommend reservations during tourist season. It's a take on New American style cuisine. read more

Breakfast burrito with a balanced mix of bacon and chorizo, and a salsa that they should market, it's so unique. The breakfast sandwich on challah with a tasty aioli was very good.
