Great cafe in Laguna village. Great menu and quick service. Plenty of seating outside with the Laguna vibe. Not overly priced and many options. They have healthy options as well and much to choose from. Will definitely come back.

We were drawn into this cute little cafe on a Sunday due to beautiful music. As we approached the cafe, a quartet was playing....it had a Jazz feel to it. Our plan was to catch a quick drink before the show, but with the beautiful music playing in the background we stayed a bit longer as I enjoyed a solid salty rosemary latte and my partner enjoyed a beer. Meanwhile fellow customers were enjoying dinner, dessert, drinks and more in this very relaxing environment on the patio. Apparently during summer weekends there is music Friday through Sunday! Come out and enjoy!

We met up for lunch at Zinc. You order at the counter and find your seats outside in the large shaded patios. The food came out pretty quickly. Food was hit or miss. The Caesar salad with steak was very good. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The chilaquiles bowl was a miss. The salsa was on only one side of the bowl so it was a bit dry and tasteless. It looked pretty good but was pretty unimpressive after the first bite. The omelet was huge but had way too much bacon and not enough of everything else.

I came here on a date on a Saturday evening for a drink break and had a great and relaxing time. We ordered a cold brew and strawberry matcha, and for a reasonable price received large glasses of drinks we were able to leisurely enjoy while sitting outside. At the time we were there, there were these great live musicians as well, which was awesome to listen to while enjoying our drinks. The strawberry matcha was pleasantly sweet with a nice rich taste. I'm not a fan of cold brew or coffee in general, but even I could tell the quality of the coffee. Also, shoutout to the great waitstaff - they were so friendly and attentive and helped us with every request we had regarding straws and napkins. My only gripe is that there's only one bathroom and there were so many people who needed to use it, but that's not really something they can control.

I stopped by Zinc for a quick cup of coffee and enjoyed the laid back vibe on the large outdoor patio. I liked that they had two separate entrances, one to place an order and another one to pick up whick kept things moving quickly. Inside there was a nice selection of beer, wine , pastriy and salads. The latte came with a lovely foam top and was served quickly by a friendly barista. The coffee itself was ok smooth and mild . Nice place to relax and enjoy the vibe.

Love Zinc! Always great food, coffee, and pastries. Their seasonal items always impress and it's a go to in Laguna for sure.

Really enjoyed this brunch place! Plenty of seating, order at the counter and pick your own seat. Everything was fresh, including the orange juice. The waffle was fluffy and crispy, and my friend liked her salad. The rosemary coffee was a little too bitter for my tastes personally. There was plenty of side street parking around, and then little shops and the beach to walk around afterwards.

Got brunch here with a couple of girlfriends after a workout in Laguna Beach. It's one of those places where you wait in line to order and then they bring you your food. The line took a while but once we ordered our food came out fast. One friend got the breakfast burrito, the other got the middle Eastern plate and I got the chilaquiles. I was a little disappointed in the chilaquiles but my two friends loved their plates!

I visited Zinc Cafe in Orange on a Saturday morning. The restaurant wasn't too crowded & our server was very friendly & attentive throughout the visit. I like that they offer both indoor & outdoor seating. I ordered the Middle Eastern Plate while my sister got the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich & a Chai Latte. We both loved our food, though my sister mentioned the chai was just okay. The last time I went to Zinc, I ordered the Scrambled Eggs & Leeks, but I'm glad I went with the Middle Eastern Plate this time. Would visit again!

Love love love the vibes here! You can try a little bit of everything that's priced by the pound, and everything feels fresh and healthy and homemade! This is one of my go-to spots in Laguna, and you can't go wrong with anything here, including drinks

    Tuna Nicoise Salad

I rate it a 2 star because I asked if I could replace the greens with rice and they charged me $2 extra for the rice replacement. On top of that, my fingerling potatoes are cold and not crispy at all. I spent $29 for a dish that was mediocre. I would not come back here specifically for the food and service.

The outside staff are very friendly but when taking my order they weren't too welcoming in terms of adjusting any of the offered menu items. I think for the price it wasn't too filling. There is plenty of seating outside and it's a cute vibe but overall wasn't too impressed

Middle Eastern Breakfast Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet Breakfast Burrito Wrap
    Joanne L.

Food: All the meals were good, but we were surprised by the smaller portions, given the price. I was a tad bit disappointed in the middle eastern breakfast because it seemed to be just a lot of herbs and limited amounts of the food itself (one slice of toast, one egg, some cheese). The breakfast burrito and omelette were good, but again, price was a bit steep for what they were. Service: You order at the counter and the food gets brought to you if you're dining outside. The person taking our order at the front was very friendly and patient. Location: It's located in the hub of Laguna beach and has a very nice outdoor seating area that is great for a sunny day. It was a bit busy for a weekday brunch, but we had no trouble getting a table outside or food.

The food was all so delicious. For appetizers we ordered the White Mexican Shrimp & Chilean Sea Bass Ceviche, the Rosemary Focaccia Bread, and a cup of their Seafood Chowder. The Ceviche was fresh and packed with flavor. The Focaccia was so fluffy and was served with a delicious whipped honey butter. For my entree I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle. The chunk of short rib was massive and the creme fraise really tied all the elements of the dish together. My friends ordered the Wild Caught Chilean Sea Bass and American Wagyu Beef Burger. Both were yummy. Overall the food, service, and ambiance were top notch. Will definitely be back.
