Tagliatelle with cream and truffle, melted brie and roasted garlic, burrata pizza, chicken parmagiana, and flying frose

In need of truffle pasta and we decided on the pasta market, let's just say it was the best decision ever! Parking was a bit tricky esp on a Friday night but we made it happen. Beautifully decorated restaurant situ both indoor and outdoor seating. Arrived at the restaurant and decided on indoor seating. Server tooled our order quickly and oh boy was it hot af on a summer night so the flying frose definitely cooled me down. We ordered Tagliatelle with cream and truffle, melted brie and roasted garlic, burrata pizza, chicken parmagiana, and the flying frose. Everything is chefs kiss but the chicken parm as a bit on thr dry side. Regardless, we inhaled what we can and took the rest home. Coming back to have birthday dinner soon!

This is my first visit. It is April 20, 2025. I am traveling and dining alone. I had today's special which was Angel hair pasta with tomato sauce, mussels, clams, and shrimp. I started with some garlic bread and clam chowder. Everything I had was excellent. The pasta was delicate, the seafood cooked just right. It was a great combination and a very generous portion. The ambience here is relaxed, and there are linen tablecloths. Service was excellent.

HOT bread with spicy cheese spread. So gooood.

I've been visiting this place for well over a decade and it hasn't changed. It's a small, friendly restaurant. I personally like their chicken Alfredo and cheese tortellini. Their fried ravioli, garlic cheese bread and mozzarella sticks are very good too. However, the bread sticks and spicy cheese spread is always my go to fave appetizer. Whenever I'm in the area and I don't have time to eat I stop by and get an order of their hot bread sticks and spread. It's a must for me.

Meat lasagna, Honey Walnut Salad, Green Salad & side garlic bread(4 pieces)

I have been here several times in the past 6 to 8 months and have primarily ordered salads, pasta to heat up, pasta salads and garlic bread for take-out and have been very happy with all foods ordered! I was recently here yesterday (July 28th) in the late afternoon around 4pm and it was quiet in the restaurant. The to-go section is located right when you walk in and the main cashier area is in the same area. The seating area is between the left side of the refrigeration section for food to-go and the cashier area. There is a nice covered/enclosed deli refrigeration section on the far right that offers various side dishes to-go. I picked up a Honey Walnut (with a balsamic and raspberry dressing) and Green Salad (with creamy lemon dressing), Meat Lasagna for 2 and an order of garlic bread. All were pre-packaged in to-go containers and the portions were large and salads were very fresh looking and was in a clear container, approx. 9 by 9 inches and 4 inches tall. The meat lasagna for 2 was very heavy and was $18.50. When I was picking out the salads, someone came in and took the last garlic bread in the to-go refrigeration section however when I asked the young gentlemen (very professional and friendly!!) if they have anymore garlic bread to-go as someone just purchased the last one, he said it would not be a problem to put one together and had his female associate (also very friendly!) provide one for us right away!! Now that's service! We shared the Honey Walnut and the ingredients were very fresh and the dressing was delicious, without being salty. The garlic bread had a lot of butter as when we toasted it and ate it, you can see some of the melted butter dripping. However we enjoyed eating it and the bread was fresh too. We highly recommend the meat lasagna!! The tomato sauce was delicious, had a lot of depth and the portion for 2 was enough for 2 adults to share, especially if having a side salad, which the portion of the salad in the to-go containers was enough to fill 4 large salad bowls!, So we could only eat half of it and saved the rest for another time. We can't wait to try their desserts including house made tiramisu as it looked VERY TEMPTING when browsing their to-go section. OH!, they also have house made frozen pastas and frozen garlic bread (in a large round shape-16 inches in diameter?). We highly recommend The Pasta Market for freshly made pasta dishes including the meat lasagna, side pasta salads, salads and garlic bread. We have not had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant yet but plan to in the near future.

9/7/2023 The Pasta Market 4546 El Camino Real Los Altos, CA 94022 We went there for a weekday lunch. It is located at the corner of the mall at ECR and San Antonio Avenue with parking around the shops. You order and pay at the counter at the RHS and seat yourself in the dining area on the LHS, where your food is brought to you. The ambiance was spartan diner but with real table cloths. We ordered the Fried Calamari, Meat Lasagna and I had the Linguine with Clams. The calamari was a little chewy with a crisp breading and topped with sauteed seasoned minced garlic. I've been searching for a place that features garlic calamari and this is the only place that has it. The flavor is excellent. Wifey was pleased with her Lasagna. My Linguine was more like a soup, it was served in a bowl topped with a generous helping of in shell clams and al dente pasta in a broth, not a sauce. There was even additional clam meat in the broth. It was different and very good. Service was fast and efficient. Portions were above average and an exceptional value. Definitely repeatable.

Phenomenal pasta. I was shocked because I had zero expectations due to the reviews, but it goes to show that we all have different tastes, there are off days, and certain menu items are better than others. This was not a dine in experience so I cannot speak for service or ambiance. Got the Baked Rigatoni and it was well worth it for many reasons including taste, size, and value. Most, if not all, pastas come with breadsticks. Breadsticks - nice bread that pairs well with any sauces and cheesy goodness from pasta. It looked fantastic and mouthwatering but it's pretty simple bread with a little garnishing sprinkled on top. I did almost think it was garlic bread because it did look better than regular bread. Baked Rigatoni - large bowl, great portion. Rigatoni al dente was just right and there was so much cheese. I love my cheese and they did not disappoint. Each bite was full of cheese and this was paired with some sausage and salami. Each bit was flavorful and full of contents besides pasta and sauce.

My friends and I wanted to get our pasta fix before attending a concert. We didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for pasta (as it seems to be in most places in the Bay), but we found The Pasta Market and saw their prices were pretty reasonable. I'm a huge gnocchi gal, so of course I had to get the gnocchi. I ordered gnocchi with mushroom sauce. It definitely hit my gnocchi craving, but the gnocchi texture wasn't as airy as it should be. It had a bit of a chew, but it was still pretty good. The mushroom sauce was pretty flavorful though with lots of mushrooms! I got garlic bread as my side, and the bread was more buttery than garlicky. Still good, nonetheless. We also ordered two appetizers - breadsticks & cheese spread and mozzarella sticks. I think the best one we got was the breadsticks and cheese spread. I thought the breadsticks tasted better than the garlic bread, and the cheese spread was pretty good with them! The mozzarella sticks were a miss though. The mozzarella wasn't really melty inside, and the dipping sauce was actually warmer than that mozzarella sticks themselves. But this place is pretty decent overall. Definitely fills a pasta craving without breaking the bank, and the portions are very generous! I'll come back when I have another gnocchi craving and mix up my sauces (I saw a Basil Cream and I definitely want to try that sauce next!) Cost: -Gnocchi with Mushroom Sauce = $13.95 -Mozzarella Sticks = $9.95 -Breadsticks with Cheese Spread = $2.75

    Pesto with Salmon

A nice Italian place off El Camino Real with large portion prices! I paid around $25+ for a custom pesto pasta with salmon. I thought it was a very oily dish, but the underlying pesto was pretty good. The portion size of salmon was amazing, and cooked pretty well! The house salad was good. The garlic bread was so hard and crusty that it cut my mouth. :( The service was not that friendly.

Came for casual family dinner on a Sunday night... atmosphere is super relaxed (like going to Nonna's house) . You order prepay at the counter and food is delivered to the dining room. Ordered the daily special steak shrimp pasta which comes with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, carrots & zucchini. The steak was juicy (not overcooked) snd the shrimp fresh and tender. The garlic bread was homemade with lots of toppings. Lasagna was good not too salty. Can also takeout food or eat on tables outside with dogs.

You order at the counter and they bring it to you. I really wanted my family to like this place but it just wasn't a family favorite. Food was ok. There wasn't any special flavor or taste that wowed them. My kids said they would have added at least more garlic, more Parmesan, and a sprinkle of red pepper. One of my good buddies said she thought the baked pasta's were there best dishes. There were two families and two couples eating on a Saturday night. There were two people taking orders at the counter, at least 3 or 4 employees taking out food, but we did not see the cooks. Years ago, this place was great. I might try them one more time.

Our waiter was Octavio, who, like his expertly holy name suggests, was an amazing waiter with a big smile. Every dish we ordered, from simple bread to Linguine Mare Chiaro was surperb. Their affogato is quite a spectacle, something everyone (except no-caffeine enthusiasts) should try. All in all, I hope everyone visits this place to experience the same experience we had.

I would 100% order both again. For mains, I ordered the ravioli lucana, which was probably the best dish anyone at the table tried. It was the perfect level of spiciness, and had a lot of garlic. I ate the leftovers for lunch today and they were still delicious:) A couple others in our group ordered the rigatoni alla vodka, which I really did not like at all. I've had it at several other Italian spots, and it's usually one of my favorite dishes, but I was shocked at how much I disliked it. That was a bummer... The martinis here are crisp, cold, and delicious! I also tried their version of a Moscow mule with elderflower, and it was great. I'm obsessed with crushed ice, and they had the perfect crushed ice in their mule! For dessert, the chocolate lava cake was great. I did not love the caramel gelato but I'm not a huge caramel fan, so a little biased there. The restaurant itself is beautiful, vibrant, and full. I loved the overall vibe. Service was also great all around.
