Stopped by on my lunch break and found this chill spot. Clean and inviting, a pretty varied menu of salads, sandwiches, and more. I played it safe and got a BLT and it was so fresh! The employees are lovely. The food is mediocre but fresh. I had to clean a table before I sat it. I ordered the taco salad in a to go container. It was packed in layers so I didn't taste any of the meat until I tried the "leftovers" at home. The portion was generous. But there was either no or not enough dressing which made it very dry. It was quite flavorless. The ingredients however, were fresh and prepared to order. Maybe if you bring your own condiments or ask for mor salsa it would greatly improve. The workers are very nice. I've already reviewed this spot, but back in 2022- since then they have new owners as of 8 ish months ago! The vibes in here are much better, chill, vibrant, and just overall more inviting. The menu has some updates on it including things called Patties- which when I saw pattie's I just assumed were burgers- instead I learned they were these incredible jamaican flaky pastry stuffed full of deliciousness and baked. I learned this while they pulled some out of the oven and I asked "what is that thing over there?" Pretty much- awesomeness. For that reason alone I will be back- because the flavor and texture of these pattie's was awesome/ like a cross between a croissant and a empanadas but dare I say better? We got the veggie and beef and both were a hit. I'm hoping they are busy but if they aren't- please like promote the heck out of these pattie's because they are too good to not have a line out the door! It seems this place has undergone another management change since I last came here. I'd been before under its previous management and came regularly for its protein breakfast burrito. The next time I came it was under construction and one time after they had a very limited menu. While this new version of Leaf Cafe has reinstated its menu with some new additions, there are factors that have changed. While the place was busy when I entered, it appeared everyone already had their order and were eating. I ordered a breakfast protein burrito to eat in. That is all I ordered.. After half an hour of waiting, with the waitress coming to my table 9ne or more times to verify my order (e.g. only spinach wraps -which is fine), the burrito finally arrived. It was on a plate uncut with no napkins or cutlery. Previously I had always received this with a side of leafy greens. Now they just give you a bag of chips (glue free). The ambience was loud. While I could feel some AC, it was still a little hot (and thectemp outside was only mild). It's not the quiet space I remember and I ate here several times over the last few years. TLDR: while the food was decent, it wasn't all I expected and the service was slow and atmosphere noisy and hot. read more

Hidden gem alert! Delicious sandwiches, salads and bowls! This small restaurant is located on the first floor of an outdoor strip mall across from Costco. It's easy to miss. Parking was plentiful. There is a small parking lot in front and a larger parking lot to the rear. My daughter and I visited for takeout on a late Monday afternoon. We ordered online (1 Protein Bowl w Ahi Tuna and 1 Lemon Leaf Bowl with tofu), drove to location, and arrived 15 minutes later. When I walked in, our food was being packaged with care. I waited for 25 min and my bowl was not done. I ordered breakfast quinoa bowl and my husband ordered breakfast burrito. After 25 min his burrito came out purely wrapped and as they cut it in half it jist unwrapped. My bowl was still on the making because they didn't know how to prepare the eggs. I didn't take picture of the burrito because we returned it right away and asked for money back. They could not refund us to the credit card because they didn't know how to do that. I can't attest on the quality of food as I didn't get to taste it and ended up in McDonald's next door because we waisted all our time waiting for the food that never came. Very sad. Owner should give proper training to employees and not to offer plates they can't prepare but they seemed very clueless. read more

I am not 100% sure of the veggies are a store brand mix or they make it themselves. Although, I won't make my review with less than 5 stars because the man who made it was super friendly. I've had a few of the menu items (Thai bowl, Philly cheesesteak) and the food has always been fresh and flavorful. I get a hint of Carribean/Jamaican flavors which is nice along with the healthiness of the bowls and salads and love that they offer Carribean sodas. Staff is nice and they usually give generous portions. Next I'm hoping to try their breakfast menu! I love the Leaf Cafe! It's a small gem in a shopping mall that has fresh and great food. I've come here many times with my family and never had a bad experience. Wow!!! Stopped here for a quick lunch after a long bike ride and ate the most delicious bowl of all time. I got the rainbow bowl and the person helping me let me add some red beets to it as well! The roasted vegetables were nice and warm and the greens were fresh and cool which gave the bowl a great mouth feel :-) The vinaigrette on it was so delicious it all tied together really nice.
