We started out with a boarding stay a few months back. I had only read reviews and was going on a gut feeling when we decide to drop Mr Wendell off. Thanks to the pawplex ,he had an awesome stay! He loved it so much and was supper happy when we came to pick him up. On our pick up, we were told about daycare and how much she thought Mr Wendell would enjoy it...so we tried it out. He had a blast and still does every time he comes in for daycare, or occasional boarding. I love this place and I'm so happy that we found a place that cares as much as I do for my Mr Wendell!!! read more

We have now been using PawPlex in Suwanee for 8 months and could not be happier. Jack has developed congestive heart failure (controlled by medication) but they remember this and go above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable and up with them in the main area the whole time and schedule him so he can get in/out as quickly as possible. CAT OWNER HERE - I absolutely love this place! I bring my cat here for a wash and shave every now and then and they always do such a fab job! Of course he's always terrified by the time I get him back cause of all the dogs but they take good care to make sure that the dogs don't get near him and keep them separated. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG THERE!! Let me preface this buy saying that i myself used to own a dog daycare and i know how to tell when dogs are not being taken care of. I also could tell you at any given time EXACTLY what was going on in my daycare and if any of the dogs were misbehaving. The last couple times i had picked my dog up from this place he was bouncing off the walls when he got home which indicates hes not getting play time although that is what i am paying for. He also gulps down huge amounts of water which indicates dehydration from being stuck in a kennel all day with no water to drink. In addition the moment he gets out the front door he pees and pees and pees and pees which is another sign that he is being locked up all day. In addition he got a urinary tract infection the last time he boarded there which hindsight being 20/20 i know realize was because he was being locked up all day. So the last three visits i have gone around back to look in through the fence to see if he was out playing. GUESS WHAT! all three times he was no where in site. The play area is very small and can clearly be seen from the outside. Today when i went to pick him up from boarding i made the manager take me back into the play area before telling anyone to bring him out. Sure enough he was locked in a kennel. When i asked the manager why he was in a kennel he said he didnt know. And went back to talk to the kennel tech. He then comes out and tells me that the last few times my dog has been there he has gotten in fights. Now my dog used to goto my daycare every day for 2 years. I have seen him interact with hundreds of dogs. The only time he has gotten into fights was when another dog became aggressive with him which dogs being dogs it happens and is natural. After pressing the manager(who i suspect is really the owner) about why no one said this was going on he basically told me he doesnt know what is going on in his daycare unless someone tells him. REALLY! he then proceeded to tell me that they keep "Troublesome" (meaning rambunctious) dogs separated in kennels while the other dogs are out playing. then they will put everyone away and bring the "troublesome" dogs out for a few minutes each and then put them back in the kennel. Now to top it off. my dog was not allowed to take pictures with santa for the Christmas party. When i questioned the manager on why this he said "I just found out about that this morning. I was not here over the weekend." He then follows this statement up a minute later with the following comment "I was here all day for the Christmas photos. I dont know why he was not included in them" SOOO first hes not there then he is there. Added to that when i picked up my dog today he has destroyed his bed. And it is covered in poop and pee stains. YET another indication of being locked up all day. So lets review the facts here: 1) The manager has admitted to not knowing what is going on in his own daycare. 2) They have admitted to keeping my dog locked up but never once said a word to me about what was going on and yet still CHARGED me for daycare service. 3) The manager has admitted that this practice of locking dogs up away from the "non rambunctious" dogs is a common practice there. 4) I have personally not seen my dog playing the last three times i have looked for him even though when i pick him up they employees say how he had so much fun and just played and played. 5) My dog shows all the signs of being locked away for extended periods of time. I hope that if you are reading this you will find somewhere else to take your dog. I realize in this area there are not a lot of options but sitting at home is infinitely better than taking your loved pet to someplace that mistreats him. read more

We use Paw Plex for grooming and we are very happy with the results. Brittany does a great job and our dogs always look perfect.

I would not take my dog back there. It is overcrowded and under staffed. There are no individual kennels with access to the outside. The "suite" is a totally enclosed room with no access to the outside. There are much better kennels in the area, but I tried this one because it was conveniently located for me. Next time I will make the drive to a better place . Check out this place for yourself before you leave your dog there. read more

I bring my Shihtzu/Poodle here to get groomed and they do an amazing job. They always get the length I want and they do a better job around his face than any groomer I have been to. And they are all great with the dogs. They let them be out and play so it's actually a fun experience for them. Happy, beautifully groomed dog every time. read more

Tracy began grooming my dogs (4 Scotties) when they were mere pups and she came to the house. When she opened the shop, I tried another mobile groomer because it was so convenient. But after 2 grooms, I decided that it was better to drive to her! Tracy and her staff have always done a wonderful job on my guys (who are almost 11 years old). Brought my boxers here on Black Friday so I could wash them myself and the manager offered to clean them for me at a better price and and he was much faster then I could have been. He even managed to get the Georgia clay off of their white fur when other groomers said they couldn't do it. Thanks Pawplex! You'll be seeing my boxers again. read more

The PawPlex is a great spot for boarding! Our lab/golden/poodle loves to go to socialize with other dogs. The facilities are clean and the pricing is very reasonable. As an added bonus, I can schedule for her to be groomed before I pick her up. Always nice to come home to a happy, freshly groomed pup! read more

I was looking for places to board my 2 dogs. I visited the PawPlex today. The front desk area was also the grooming area and it was not clean and smelled. When I asked to have a tour, I had to wait a bit and then I knew right away I would never have my dogs stay there. Some dogs were barking and shut in crates, and the supposed suites were horrible. The whole area wreaked of urine, and wet dog smell. Nothing was clean and everything was cramped and small. The outdoor area was super small. Nothing was cozy or clean and staff didn't seem warm at all. Would never leave my dogs there. read more

We boarded our small dog with them over Christmas and were very disappointed. The bag we send her stuff in got torn to shreds, they lost a few of her toys (somewhat understandable), and apparently she peed in her crate every day and they never cleaned it out. I understand the holidays are really busy and they normally have up to 50 animals at a time but to make her sleep in her piss every day is completely unacceptable. She also had boogers all in her fur and eyes when we picked her up (even though she had just had a bath) and a scratch on her head we weren't told about and would not have found had we not given her another bath when we got home because of how badly she still smelled. We will not be using PawPlex ever again. read more

The Paw Plex came through for me when I needed help the most! I have been boarding my cats there long term during a stressful time and it is so wonderful to know that my girls are well cared for by their staff. I come by to visit my kitties a few times a week and I can tell that they are taken care of and I feel happy to have found them a place where I don't have to worry. All of the staff members are so friendly and have been great when I bring my children along. We have been made to feel like family and I would recommend them to anyone needing long or short term boarding (dogs or cats) or for their grooming services. Every time I come by, I am greeted by happy, friendly dogs and it seems like all the staff cares for the animals as if they were their own pets. read more

I have been using the Paw Plex for year's now. They, treat my dogs "GREAT" and getting a quick appointment has never been a problem. The Groomer, Terisha is great with both my dogs even my Little Dog who has a problem attacking other dogs. I just inherited another dog a small Sht-zu, and she will also be going to the Paw -Plex for her grooming. Many, of you people out there who have animal's dogs, Cat's, etc.. see these pets as an extention of our family member's, that's why it's important to pick the Correct groomer and boarding house for our Pet's, The Paw Plex is one of these place's!! read more

Warning to everyone! Front customer area looks great, area where your pet stays is filthy and disgusting. Ask for a tour. Holding area and kennels for pets being groomed will make you cringe. I gave this place a second chance but won't give it anymore. That place leaves little to be desired and there's definitely better. 1) The girls checking in seems inexperienced -- didn't ask for the updated vaccinations; this leaves me wondering about the dogs there that are not up-to-date. 2) The kennels smelled really badly of urine. 3) I was not asked about my dog's habits, e.g. whether she is crated normally -- this shows they don't really care. 4) One room where there were a bunch of cages with dogs had one door that remained closed with a little window had no light! I was told they didn't get around to changing out the bulb; it looked like solitary confinement! I don't trust this place and will not go anymore. Hopefully, the owner will read this and make changes, but I've complained once before verbally and no changes were made. read more

"What did you do to my dog?" After a 10-night boarding visit at The PawPlex, our dog came back home very relaxed and well-behaved! We were expecting our normally rowdy dog to come back home and chase our cats and our small dog, but instead, he is showing great social skills. We adopted this dog as a rescue 5 months ago and although he is a great dog in many respects, his cat chasing and poor social skills with other dogs has been an ongoing concern. Not anymore, since his boarding visit at The PawPlex. I am so pleased with how well he was taken care of, and how responsive The PawPlex team was in meeting his unique needs, that I am now considering scheduling regular doggy daycare visits there as a way to reinforce the skills he has learned. Daycare was something I would have never considered until now. I highly recommend The PawPlex!!! I should also note that I have used The PawPlex for grooming and kenneling our previous dogs (cocker spaniels) and have always been pleased with the services. This most recent visit, however, has been extraordinary! read more

As much as I hate to say it our little guy is at Paw Plex almost as much as he is at home. We got this puppy forgetting how much energy they have, and we work. We didn't think it was fair to him to leave him home all day or to leave him crated so we started him at the PawPlex. He has been there since he was just over two months old and still goes every weekday. We could not have asked for a better place for him. Everyone there loves him so much and knows him so well. He is at our heels everyday until we take him in. He runs in and greets everyone in sight, and they all greet him back! We believe he has learned what the weekends are as he does not sit by the door ready to go as much anymore on Saturday's and Sunday's. We are so grateful for the staff and other dogs at the PawPlex as our puppy is well rounded and very social. They do a great job when they groom him and he isn't afraid. They worked with him when he was smaller so that he would be used to it when they started full grooms. I can't say enough good about these guys. Our many thanks to the PawPlex staff! read more
