This store is QUALITY from the products offered to the great customer service. The store is small and pretty narrow, but they really maximize the space to fit in all of their products. The products mostly seemed to focus on dogs and cats, but they may have had products for other pets as well- I wasn't looking. The dog food I was checking out was all very high quality brands, including pre-made food for a raw diet. They have an assortment of toys, leashes, and other pet essentials as well. I love knowing that there is a place "back home" that carries my dog's food in case any travel emergencies come up. I was really impressed by the man who was working. He was very kind and he was super knowledgeable about the various products in the store. My mother is close to having to make a difficult decision for one of her senior dogs and he was very patient and kind with her. He not only helped her talk through some of the difficult subject, but offered her resources as well. It was a few minutes after closing time on Christmas Eve before we left, but he never appeared bothered by the time or showed any urgency to get us out of the shop. They seem to have a great store rewards program, although I didn't inquire too much about it since I am not local. A portion of their proceeds go directly back to the animals through Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends. I'm so glad that the pups from my childhood have such a great local shop & that my mom goes out of her way to support such a great local business! I would definitely make AARF my "go-to" store if I still lived in the area!

We have a little dog (we had to downsize dogs when we moved back intown) and she's got really curly hair that mats really easily. We have tried to keep up with it, but she was looking a mess. This place is within walking distance and the ladies are great - they don't do credit cards, but they have a real knack for what they do. We got our dog back clean, trimmed and happy. Hopefully we will keep up with the mats in the future, but's good to know we have a solution in our back pocket.

This store is on the small side, but they pack in a lot of various inventory, and the woman that was working that day had an extremely positive and energetic personality. The checkout area is in the middle of the store, so employees can see everything going on. The employee was behind the register ringing someone up, and when I walked in, she called out a warm hello to me. I looked for dog treats and found some commercially bagged ones, but it didn't look like any of them were specifically for dogs with sensitive stomachs. The employee came directly to me after helping her last customer, and asked me if she could help me find anything. I told her that I had a small dog who had a sensitive stomach, so she told me that she had some baked ones at the table closer to the door, and walked with me to where they were located. They looked like cookies or crackers. She told me that there were baked treats with different flavors, like blueberry, pumpkin and others. I told her that I was wary of buying a bunch of treats, especially since I was unsure how they would affect my dog, so she just started selecting a few of the treats for me to take so my dog could sample them at home. She gave me four of them for free. I thanked her for her help and left, happy that I could try these treats on my dog. I later gave my dog small bits of each cookie. She loved them and they didn't affect her at all. Great find!

So, as soon as the bag of Purina dog food that I got when I got her was completely and fully through... I immediately decided to switch her food to a different one. When I walked in for the very first time, I was greeted by a very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable employee. After explaining to her about how I did not like my dog eating Purina One. I asked her (the employee) what she recommends that I switch my dog onto. She told me that she recommends Fromm. I asked her which variety that I should go with and she told me that the Salmon Tunalini is the one that her Fromm purchasers usually purchase and feed. So, I went with the Salmon Tunalini. I purchased the small/medium sized bag for $14. When I fed my dog her first helping, she ate all of it and licked her bowl clean. There was not a single crumb left in her own bowl. That is how I knew she loved it so much. So, now I come back here to pick up a small/medium size bag of it whenever I run our. Now, every time that I come the employee always knows exactly what food and bag size that I need and purchase. She always grabs one off the shelf for me whenever I go there to purchase and it up. The store is very nice. I also do occasionally pick up a bully stick there sometimes as well. I also like the fact that this Red Bandanna is just right down the road from where I live. This makes it absolutely convenient for me to pick up my dog's new dog food whenever I need more of it. This truly is my dog food supplier. I simply will not get my dog's own dog food anywhere else. This place has affordable prices on organic dog food that I just love. You will not find Purina, Eukanuba, Iams, Science Diet, Kibbles n Bits, or Bill Jack here. They only sell and focus on grain free and organic dog food. This is another reason why I love Red Bandanna.

B) There were no cotton balls to be found to clean ears and eyes. C) Ear cleaner was almost empty and had to ask for it to be refilled to finish cleaning ears. D) Towels are usually set out at theses types of places I had to ask "they forgot". There were three staff members on duty and had been open for a couple of hours not sure why this area was not checked ? Second trip not much better than the first it wasn't until after Vino was in the tub and was getting started that I noticed there was dog hair in the drain ugh gross they are not cleaning or sanitizing between washes ! When turning on the dryer noticed two areas that had fur balls moving about. Was going to purchase treats V. likes the sign says purchase three for a 20% discount with only one item not included. The treats I was to purchase were suddenly not part of the discount at check out so they lost more than a $32.00 sale because of oops. I have been to four different RB and this is my least favorite location the service is to laid back and unprofessional for my taste. ***Received a message from a manager/owner about experience here and after eating lunch across the street decided to stop by. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made for both Buzz and me! Buzz struggles with anxiety and reacts nervously when new people approach, especially on walks or in public places like restaurant patios. From our very first session, Betty made both of us feel comfortable and confident. She immediately recommended a no-pull harness that made a huge difference. Walking Buzz and his corgi brother, Phil, is finally fun again! I truly missed our morning walks, and it feels amazing to enjoy them again without constantly worrying about Buzz pulling away or Phil getting loose because my attention was elsewhere. What stood out most is that Betty doesn't just train dogs -- she trains their owners, too. She helped me learn how to communicate more clearly and understand what Buzz is feeling. Betty gave us exercises to build trust and confidence. He's already such a happy pup, but he lit up even more during each session, as you can see in his picture! You could tell how proud he was every time he got something right. The whole experience strengthened our bond even more, and I ended up enjoying training far more than I ever expected. Betty also gave us fantastic techniques to help Buzz stay calm when meeting new people, both out in public and at home. He's learned that his bed is his "safe spot," and now he'll go there on his own when guests arrive until he's ready to say hello. It's been such a big, wonderful change seeing him so much more relaxed and secure. We did three sessions at Canine PhD and three at home, which was the perfect balance. It gave us the chance to practice in both structured and real-life settings, and between sessions, we had Betty's helpful homework to reinforce what we were learning and keep us progressing even outside of training. The pricing was very reasonable and the value we got from the training far exceeded what we paid. What I appreciated most was Betty's honesty and empathy. She set realistic expectations right from the start, explaining that this wouldn't be a quick fix -- and she was right. Some dogs are just naturally more anxious, but she gave us the tools and confidence to help Buzz make real progress. I can't recommend Betty and Canine PhD enough! She's a wonderful person! Super patient, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping both dogs and their humans succeed. I was scared he'd fail his trial since he's not good with people, but he passed and he surprises me with how much he loves everyone. Now when we go in, I feel like I'm the one feeling stressed, and he's the one ready to leave me! He is always happy in the photos they post. Plus I watch the webcams and it's the only place I've been able to watch my cat when we boarded her too. I've had concerns, but haven't felt the need not to come back- we're always seeing subtle changes which tells me they listening to their customers. I only want the best for my furkids and I love that they want the best for them too!

I have been grooming my own dogs pretty much since I brought them home as puppies, so I rarely use…read moregrooming services. However, I've been VERY tired and grooming two mini goldendoodles is just a lot on me nowadays. Today I brought my girl up here for a an express wash and blow dry so I could just do her cut at home. I made certain to comb her out fully and remove any matting. I even confirmed with the front desk person that her coat was free of knots, tangles, etc. This is the second time they have done a very mediocre job at properly drying the coat. Not only was it not blown out all the way, she had THREE matted knots (leg, neck, rear) that were NOT there when I dropped her off. I expected to be able to jump right into using my clippers, it kept jamming up and I had to use my own forced-air dryer and slicker brush to get it smooth enough for the blades. I 100% understand that curly/wavy coated dogs like this require a bit more, but I didn't expect to have to go over 50% of the work I paid to have completed. Edit: What's crazy is I left this review in their private portal for someone to contact me in August. No response until this Yelp review. I'm not sure if I'm being called a liar or not, because the response is all over the place LOL
