I love this place! The deserts are always fresh and ready for pickup quickly, especially considering that they're not just another generic, fast food kind of place. I love their banana pudding, coconut shavings and extra wafers lol, AMAZING!! My family are all southern, "grandma made the best banana pudding" sort of people and I can confirm, they confirm The Peach Cobbler is the next best thing! This was our first visit. Upon entering the store we were greeted by a very friendly associate. It seems either the AC is broken or it's kept very warm inside. We ordered 3 cobbles and 1 shake. It took about 10 minutes to get our order. The ice cream is served on the side, I assume so you can take it home to eat. There are a few tables outside. We sat on a nearby bench. The cobbler was delicious however, having to dig the hard ice cream out of the container was a little difficult. The spoons we were given were very flimsy and so you had to hold the close to the bottom to prevent them from bracing. This lead to ice cream all over my hands...not what I wanted. A great dessert place with LOTS of different options! I ordered the caramel apple cobbler and it came with vanilla ice cream on the side. My husband got the peanut butter praline Belgian waffle. There's no place to eat inside, so we took our food home to eat. However, there are some benches in the plaza if you do want to eat nearby. Service was nothing special. This was my second time here and I felt somewhat uncomfortable both times when it came to tipping. The first time the cashier asked my husband if he was going to tip and how much. I thought it was just a one off thing. This time the cashier stared at the customer screen when it came time to watching me tip. I can't believe I've lived here for years and have never been to the peach cobbler factory! I got the butterfinger banana pudding and I wasn't sure how well the flavors would go together, but it was DELICIOUS. The menu has so much variety and I can't wait to go back and try more. We are getting a Peach Cobbler Factory location in Winston so while driving to Raleigh we stopped in at the location in Burlington. It was pretty crowded when we went and it looked like the staff couldn't keep up with demand. We ordered and had to wait about 20 min for our order to be ready and many others were also waiting. The place is just a walk up counter service with no inside seating at all. If the weather is bad, I guess eating in your car would be the only option if you don't live nearby or you weren't going right home if you do live nearby. Once we got our order and started eating, we both thought it really was very light on the fruit filling and definitely heavy on the cobbler pastry. For $8 we definitely felt we didn't get our moneys worth. It was also served with some vanilla ice cream which I would have preferred being left off. When the Winston location opens I may give it a try, especially if they incorporate some indoor seating. I will update my review then and hopefully will have a more positive experience. read more

The sampler allows you to choose 4 desserts (any combination of banana puddings and cobblers) for $18. They also have cookies and cinnamon rolls. The cookies looked dry as hell and unappetizing. I ordered the blackberry peach cobbler, sweet potato pecan cobbler, NY cheesecake and red velvet banana pudding. I forgot what he ordered. We waited for a while and our order was ready. I thought the bag looked a little light but when I opened it I was flabbergasted. What you see pictured was $18. There was NOTHING red velvet or cheesecake about these banana puddings. The speck of red you see are the dust crumbs of red velvet. It looks like they took the crumbs of a long eaten piece of cake and put them on top of the pudding. The crust was so thick on the blackberry peach cobbler. There was no discernible peach flavor. It reminded me of a terrible school cafeteria concoction. I didn't bother tasting anything else because I was done and returned it immediately. You would be better off heading to the store and grabbing a frozen pie.
