    Golden Pancakes
    Ryan C.

Stopped by for brunch with friends, and this is a cute vibey spot. Standouts in terms of food were definitely the golden pancakes. The chicken and waffles were decent, nothing crazy special though. For drinks - the first two I tried to order they actually did not have or could not make, so I ended up just getting a regular mimosa. Bit disappointing. Appreciate the easy payment system, with the ability to see the whole bill and pay for what you ordered. Nice with such a big group. Would give it 3.5 stars.

The social media gods have done it again! They steered me towards The Peach and I was very pleased with their guidance! Arrived around 11am on a Saturday and was greeted by the lovely hostess. I was actually kind of shocked this place wasn't completely packed, but that made getting a table easy peasy. Definitely had to try the peach Bellini and it was so yummy! Nothing like something sparkly and sweet for a breakfast alcoholic beverage! For my meal, I had the breakfast sandwich and omg it was very good!! I had it made with an egg over easy. So perfect! I also paired it with a salad. Great and refreshing for a morning meal. Loved my brunch over at The Peach! I'm loving all the food in Oakland and I'm happy to add this spot to my brunch rotation.

Came on a Sunday morning, to my luck, there was no wait. The restaurant's cute and swanky, as many brunch spots frequently are. I ordered the veggie scramble, which features seasonal veggies; the June rendition arrived stuffed with mushroom, asparagus, and squash along with shreds of cheese layered throughout. Frankly, this might be one of the better egg dishes I've had in a while, and the accompanying toast was pretty exquisite. Certainly not any Sara Lee. Had I not been violently hungover, I would've hounded the whole thing in seconds, but I surrendered and boxed pretty much the entire meal. Saturday night - 1. Audrey - 0.

I'm generally not a fan of mandatory gratuity, especially when the service was just ok but not particularly memorable. As for the food, it was a bit hit or miss for me. The chicken was a little dry and saltier than I prefer. The bread pudding wasn't quite what I was expecting, as it came across a bit watery and undercooked. On the positive side, the bacon was tasty and one of the better items we tried. Having visited Lakeshore Cafe when it was in this location, it's hard not to make comparisons. The overall experience didn't quite live up to those memories, but it may appeal to others with different tastes. Even the drinks were decent, though they didn't particularly stand out. Overall, the experience was okay, but there are a few areas that could be improved.

    Thick Golden Pancakes

Cute little brunch spot with unique mango sticky rice matchas and filling comfort food entrees. Golden pancakes are thick and buttery and have a nice bite to them. Chicken and waffles and chicken and biscuits were pretty good and their take on biscuits are flat and almost look like focaccia and come with a side of gravy. They do charge 50 cents for any sort of hot sauce (not included even if you order fried chicken) and when they mistakenly put an additional mimosa down on the table, the server mentioned he'd still charge us for it if he left it there. Service was friendly enough but that left a bit of a bad taste in our mouth and brought the vibe down. Probs just the delivery of it. Overall an okay vibe and decent food.

Arrived around 9:30am on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy - we were seated right away and there were plenty of tables. We ordered: - golden pancakes - chicken & waffles - peach bread pudding - chicken sausauge - side of fries (Yes, for two people - it was a lot of food!) This was probably the best bread pudding we've had in a while - nice contrast of textures (soft and crunchy) with a subtle peach flavor. The waffle was light and airy, and enormous. So was the golden pancake (luckily we ordered a single). Friendly service, cute ambiance inside. Highly recommend!

The sandwich was a lot bigger than I expected but that is a plus. It was all good except they put a sauce on it that I'm not really a fan of. Everything else in the sandwich was perfect though. And the potatoes were perfectly crispy. I liked the rose matcha but I feel like I always forget that rose matcha isn't my fav just because the rose kinda overpowers it and makes it very sweet. The restaurant was really cute and I loved the color scheme. Also decently crowded at 10:30 but we could still get a table = perfect!

Visited on A Friday afternoon - no reservation, got sat instantly. Staff was friendly and inviting, Fabio, our waiter, was great and gave the run down of menu. We order the shrimp and grits and the eggs Benedict. For drink we got the mango sticky rice matcha latte. The drinks were GREAT!! A must try and worth coming back for. The food we got was fantastic, the shrimp and grits were so good, I couldn't stop eating it. My partner loved the eggs Benedict, finished it before I could even look up from my food. The space is nice and vibrant, music is great and not too loud. Would love to come back for one of their movie nights. The menu has so many great things, we'll definitely be coming back!

Fabio is amazing and is knowledgeable about the menu. The food was spectacular. Best Tiramisu French toast ever. The drinks were really chefs kiss. The vibe was fantastic.

We were very impressed that we were able to be seated immediately upon walking in, and the service throughout our meal was wonderful. The entire team was incredibly friendly, ensuring we had water and drink orders taken right away. We loved all of the food and drinks we ordered. One detail I especially appreciated was your proximity to Arizmendi and the fact that you offer some of their bread on your menu. The ambiance was great! We will definitely be back to have breakfast or brunch with you again soon. Thank you for the lovely experience.

Went on a Sunday around 12:30pm and it was comfortably busy. No line, and we got seated right away. The interior is vibey and I loved it. It really represents the Asian-American fusion concept well, and I even got a glimpse of the outdoor patio area which looked just as charming. One thing to note-- it gets pretty echoey inside once the place fills up, which made conversation a little difficult. Cute space though, just something to be aware of. Service and wait time were both average. The food, unfortunately, was a bit underwhelming for me. I got the chicken and waffles; the chicken looked great, but it was under seasoned and lacked flavor. My friend who ordered the chicken and biscuits felt the same about the chicken, but she actually loved the biscuits. Another friend got a burger and thought it was just okay. I was really excited for the tiramisu french toast, and while it was tasty, it didn't really taste like tiramisu. It was more of a monkey bread vibe, which was enjoyable in its own right, but the name sets an expectation it doesn't quite deliver on. I'd genuinely come back if the flavors were more developed. The concept and atmosphere are there, the food just needs to catch up.

A standout brunch spot with creative dishes and great service. Went for brunch with Dez and were greeted and seated right away. The menu has a wide variety of options, so there's something for everyone. We tried the tiramisu French toast and Chef Harold's omelette. The French toast was easily the highlight -- from the brûléed edges to the butterscotch sauce, everything came together really well. It wasn't overly sweet and didn't have that heavy eggy taste, just well balanced and flavorful. The omelette was light and fluffy, paired with crispy potatoes, salad, and sourdough bread. We also added a side of bacon, which came out crispy but still tender. For drinks, we had mimosas -- peach and guava. They use brut, which gave it a slightly more bitter finish, but still enjoyable. Service really stood out. Our waitress was attentive, kind, and offered helpful recommendations throughout the visit. Street parking is available but metered, so something to keep in mind. Overall, a great brunch experience with standout dishes and service. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Let me tell you about the peach so the food it was OK it was. It wasn't for my liking. My Granny loved the grits but our server she was absolutely amazing if her name was Giovanna I can't remember Remember Her Name but she was absolutely amazing like I am only given this a five star because of her like that the service was immaculate like over the top. It's a cute little quaint spot that the place is cute very busy. It was just the food wasn't to my liking like I didn't like what I got what I had but she brought my Granny over. I think it's some bread pudding for her birthday so it was just it was amazing my Granny thought her food was amazing so yes go try it out. We went for Granny's birthday. She is 94.

One of my favorite parts is that you can actually sit and read while having a glass of wine. The wine selection is really fun, and they have some unique varietals that you don't see everywhere, which makes it even better. I also love that they do book and wine pairings each month. It's such a cool idea and makes it feel like there's always something new to check out. You can also join their book club, which includes a new book and a paired bottle of wine. Came here via Lyft which dropped me off in front of the brewery nearby. For context, this place is nestled in a work/live complex that features a few other restaurants. Depending on where you land, it can be a little tricky to find, but I managed and headed right in. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the lovely Bella who was incredibly kind and sweet. She made my time there wonderful! We gabbed, she gave me wonderful recommendations of food and drink around Alameda + she was so knowledgable about all of the wine in the bar. After a little bit of wine, I opted for one of the cheese plates. Truly great value! A few yummy cheeses of different varieties for around 25 bucks. It featured nuts, jam, and a giant pile of sliced bread. This was dinner and honestly could have easily been shared between myself and another person. I also tried the Vermouth spritz! I'm a huge fan of sweet Vermouth on ice, so this was a fun twist on one of my favorites. Perfect little Monday afternoon spent with Miss Bella at Vinyl wine bar! Incredible service, great food, and amazing wine! I will definitely be putting them in my wine bar rotation!

We both liked it and would order it again. We also had a cheese board with all the normal fixings which was great. Recieved "Best Wine Bar" in Best of Alameda ratings. But thinking about it sine Wine & Waffles closed years ago it may be the only wine bar left in Alameda. Yes, restaurants and bars serve wine but not the same thing. Lemon Drop came in 2nd on the list and they are hardly a wine bar. (No shade LD. You do great for who you are). Service was great and the lady who brought us all the goods was pleasant. The person staffing the bar was really busy doing many different things. As that was the case, interacting felt a bit strained. At the same time, considering how much she had going on, she kept it together. I appreciated that she kept track of who was next.
