Fell upon this place on a Thursday night before a late dinner and it was a great time! We would have stayed to have dinner if we didn't already have a reservation at another place. The place is packed due to their $5 aperol spritz deal from 4PM-late, but it looks like they have really good deals throughout the weekdays so I assume it is generally going to be crowded during those times. After a lackluster bahn mi experience next door, we went to this establishment to salvage lunch. I decided on the brunch menu that came with a free bloody mary, which is one of my girlfriend's favorites, and settled on the french toast. In terms of presentation, it was a stunning display. The old ladies next to us were in awe and only raised my expectations. Unfortunately everything that glitters ain't gold. The toast was completely devoid of flavor and incredibly disappointing. Right away we felt welcomed even though it was a busy evening. And everyone who came to our table was friendly and professional.
